“I am beyond happy with this company! I ordered chilis as a surprise for my husband, as we haven't been able to find them since moving east. I reached out after making a mistake with my order, and I was immediately helped and the order was corrected. It was delivered quickly and arrived in perfect shape. “I love everything I've ever gotten from The Hatch Chile Store! The only thing I would change is regarding the shipping logistics? I live in NYC and my orders are typically shipped so that they arrive on a Saturday and if I miss the drop off, then my perishables sit in a warehouse somewhere until redelivery on Monday :( Fortunately my items have remained cold, but this isn't great.”

“Arrived on time, still frozen, and with a small amount of dry ice to spare! Chile was delicious as normal! It was chopped in larger than normal pieces but did not really affect my enjoyment of it.”

“I have ordered (and devoured) Hatch green chile for years, and tamales and rellenos, yum!! Recently, we ordered the red and the green tortillas and the dried red hatch chiles & WOW, the flavors are tremendous! Brings me right back to eating in Santa Fe. Thank you Hatch Chile store!!”

“We have always enjoyed Hatch Chile products - especially since we live in Alamogordo NM. Our last order from your business was to send to our oldest son who lives in Indiana and misses our state's great Mexican food and spices. He was thrilled with the tamales and sauces in our latest package for him and his family. It was a package of love for his 52nd birthday!”

“We LOVE the RED!!! Was a piece of home when we couldn’t be at home. The green wasn’t our Favorite but it was a sauce, next we will try your Green Chile and make our own sauce for our own enchiladas but overall we loved it! Thank you very much! Was packaged great!”

“There is a gleeful joy in the moments when I’m thinking about dinner, and I decide, well, I’ll just go to the freezer and get out some Hatch Chiles Relleno, made with genuine Hatch Green Chiles, ready to go, just defrost them for a little bit and heat them up. Life is good.”

“I received my shipment quickly and none were rotted or red even. The packing for shipping is good. 2stars for that. These were supposed to be hot green chilies. They weren't even mild. I contacted The Hatch Chili store 3 times and they never made any attempt to make my order right. They do not stand behind their own product. Order at your own risk or do like I did and get some hot green chili from 505. Anything else will be better then what I got.”

Hi Cathe, I'm so sorry the chile wasn't as hot as expected. We did have a milder crop this year, as is noted on the product page. Heat is also extremely subjective and varies greatly person to person. When you are preparing the chile are you ensuring you leave as much of the veins in as possible? Often people will remove the seeds at the top of the pods and remove a large amount of the veins along with it. All of the heat is going to be in the veins of the chile. I'm afraid the hot is the hottest we carry in the roasted. If you would be open to a discount on our X-Hot fresh Hatch green chile or X-hot jarred green chile roast, we could off you a 50% discount.
