They simply ban you if you have any arguements with the auctioneers. Such as selling fakes. Go to easyliveauction.com please.

When it started years ago it was great. Now it’s totally ruined. It’s impossible to log in to auctions to bid because of rubbish with an American.com address. The search function is now unusable. Unusable altogether. Don’t bother. They don’t seem very interested in all these awful reviews either.

*****BUYER/CONSIGNER BEWARE***** NIGHTMARE!!!! negligible, incompetent, no duty of care, horrible communication. Purchased an item and I immediately followed up twice regarding my shipping address. They didn’t even reply and simply BLOCKED ME after 2 weeks. I had to contact the-salesroom to mediate this. Once unblocked and paid and address confirmed, they waited a MONTH to respond to my multiple inquiries regarding tracking and updates. I had to have the-salesroom auction site intervene due to this incompetence and lack of communication. They sent item to wrong address. They are liable for this. They have taken no accountability for their mistake and have offered NO assistance or resolution. I had to file a claim through my bank and reported to the-salesroom for negligence. Will be reporting to the auction board/council licensing for this negligence and unacceptable behavior. Able to support ANY documentation and emails screenshots to back these claims up.

Awful experience. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE LEAVE SALEROOM.COM AS LONE --- PLEASE BE WARNED!!. I Won a number of lots at the WELSH POOL AUCTION Rooms. I waited until the last 4 seconds FOR 2 PARTICULAR lots and won them both until I checked I noticed I had placed a high bid to win said lots to note Salerooms system kept on for nearly an hour refreshing the end time returning the timer back to 10 minutes! Thus allowing under bidders another 50 minutes to decide to buy again!! I should have won one lot at Circa £220 but after a further hour ended up creeping up to £580. . .Appears to be a shill bidding concern. Will new use the page again. Appalled!! Check the video below and you'll know what I mean!!

I have purchased via The-Saleroom for many years: 1). THERE IS NO METHOD FOR BUYERS/COLLECTORS TO RATE DISHONEST AUCTION HOUSES VS EXCELLENT AUCTION HOUSES THAT USE THIS SITE FOR MARKETING. 2). Some sellers claim to accept credit cards but later say they only take "direct bank transfers"; problematic because international bank transfers from the USA to U.K auction houses are at an additional buyer's cost of $70.00 USD. 3). The-Saleroom bidding technology has improved, but at times, is very slow and items are sold before my bid is actually registered through them (even when given substantial quick bidding on my part to prevent this time-lag problem). 4). Sellers offer only a single photo of an item, often produced to NOT show flaws in their merchandise (a less than honest, but common practice on The-Saleroom). 5). I've had several auction buys, where the auction house had no international shippers available that provided shipping services outside the U.K., but never indicated this within their sales conditions (The-Saleroom should have a method to account for this ~ because The-Saleroom features itself as an international sales platform, not just local) . 6). THE-SALEROOM SEEMS TO CARE NOTHING ABOUT ITS BUYERS\COLLECTORS. 7). IN SUMMARY: I am an advanced high-end collector. I use every other bidding platform available before The-Saleroom to protect myself... still, at times The-Saleroom is the only platform available for a desired item, so I still take my chances. It is always risky with The-Saleroom; it is always a gamble.

Although the site is clunky and the fees higher than other online auction sites I persisted with Saleroom until my card expired. There was a glitch with their site that did not allow me to verify my card after I updated it so I contacted their helpline. They made me jump through hoops trying to figure it out and then said there was nothing they could do so I was unable to bid on the auction which was only taking place through them and I was unable to attend in person. Very irritating!

I had many bad experince with this website, last two was very terrible. I charged 2 times delivery fee just because they calculated a wrong price for my delivery. I contact CS saleroom but he said like this: "I am afraid that you will have to coordinate with them to be able to resolve this matter as the-saleroom.com is an internet portal that enables auctioneers to list and broadcast their auctions online to bidders like yourself all over the world. Lots listed on our site, payments, approvals, collection, and delivery are always managed by the auctioneer...". No responsibility at all. The auction company also no help, whenever you asked info for detail delivery, they answer by redirecting to delivery company. The last one, the auction company ask me for my Proof of identification, i.e. copy of your driver's license or passport. This needs to be emailed to them. It's ridiculous, none guarantee for our data protection, infact the saleroom system already checked our card (debit/credit) before bidding. Thus this website has no reviews system. We can not know, which auction is good or bad. Most of them sale broken item but they don't write it in the description or just put one picture so you can not figure out the quality the item you want to buy. I had also this bad experince. My 2 item was broken. Don't buy from saleroom!!

Rubbish system winning bids only to find you haven’t won after all. Seem to suddenly ignore your bidding. Happened twice now lost rare items have searched for for years! Very frustrating take my advise don’t use go directly to auction house and book phone line! Read reviews lots saying same problems.

The worst customer service experience of my entire life via the-sale-room.com and Precision Auctions (who fail to engage in problem solving as they prefer to ignore you). Caveat Emptor!

Glad I read the reviews iam in Australia, I had a hard time getting on their website in the end it would not take my bank card details got a friend who is a computer nerd as he was waiting for something to load he smelled something was not right he stopped every thing and looked at the reviews so the four things I was going to bid for good bye better to back away from a place that has a bad reputation

I bid £450 for an item.It sold for £450. I assumed I had won it. Apparently not. I contacted them and said I had placed the very first bid on autobids and I therefore imagined I would be the winner. They have not contacted me with an explanation. Very frustrating-this is the third time it has happened to me. I will stop using them.
