Managed to service my Raymond Weil Parsifal watch & although it was expensive & it took rather a long time, I love the watch so am pleased that it is now working properly again.

The email asking for the review was poor, it assumes it was a completely positive experience, and rather than asking for honest feedback (to do better) it only asks for positive feedback. Very Poor. 'Almost all our customers are delighted with what we offer. Very occasionally however, we have got things wrong leading to a few people choosing to vent their frustrations on an external review website. Please would you be so kind to leave a positive review on the website' For the record I thought the price was expensive, but as I was on holiday I was happy to pay the extra for the convenience. The 'salesman' was very pushy about the cleaning service, the watch was in a 'very poor state' so he will throw in a half price clean for me. He then immediately asked for payment! When I told him I didn't want it cleaned he was visibly irritated (as was I, as he never actually asked if I wanted it) and said he would need to 're-enter the order on the system now.' Overall the 1 hour service was good, though pricey. The salesman was rude (Brent Cross, London).

My 10 year old Omega Seamaster developed a problem with the winding crown. Steve Singh at the Cribbs Causeway Bristol branch sent it away to obtain an estimate of cost. Although quite expensive (£490) including service, it was comparable to prices given by other Omega dealers. I was advised that the work would take between 8 to 10 weeks, and it was completed within this timescale. The watch was returned in excellent condition with a number of general wear scratches having been buffed out. I would recommend this company.

Well, it may not be the repairers responsibility. however, when I got home I gave the new watch to my blind father, this wrist watch which had two new batteries fitted to the RNIB talking watch. Then it made a sound once when demonstrated and stopped after that, not a peep from it since? When I received it brand new from RNIB a couple of days earlier it did not work, thus I took it into your establishment in Southampton to have it repaired. I have no complaint about the service it was most pleasant. Moreover, it is another drive to Southampton, pay exorbitant parking fees to see where the fault is. Not so happy.

The Bristol Cribbs Causeway branch were able to replace the battery and reseal my watch within one hour if I chose. The Watch is a Tag Heuer. They also offered to clean the strap etc. I was pleased that they were able to do the work quickly. I had taken the watch to Goldsmiths to have the battery done and they stated they would send it away and this could take 6-8 weeks however they recommended the Watch lab as an alternative. I was therefore surprised to learn that the Watch Lab is now owned by Goldsmiths and wondered why Goldsmiths did not send their watches to Watch Lab so the work could be done more quickly. It does seen that Goldsmiths and Watch lab are a monopoly giving less choice to the customer and also this explains why their price bands are so similar. I was happy with the work done but felt the price was very high £95 for a battery change and £25 to clean the strap this seems to be taking advantage of your customers.

When the battery in my Omega watch failed I thought I would have to wait weeks for the watch to be sent off to have it replaced and for the watch to be resealed. However I spoke to Micheal Powell at The Watch Lab York and he said that they could do it in an hour. He was extremely helpful and told me about the offer they had on to clean the strap. I am delighted to say that I had my watch back within the hour all sorted and resealed and will certainly use The Watch Lab again.

The staff were very helpful and went extra mile to assist me. Unfortunately the prices are very high. I had to go there as I had no choice but I don't think I will come back there again. It's a shame as the lady that was looking after my watch was amazing.

Friendly, chatty, efficient service. It was a tad pricey though as the watch was relatively cheap in the first place.

Great at beginning and end. No service while my watch was getting fixed and only given a receipt. No call to tell me when it was ready and more expensive than other small independents but willing to pay if the service is there. I had to chase in the end, expected more.

I was originally advised that the work would take approximately 18 months. However I now have it back after about a year

Nathan, at Silverburn, Glasgow was very professional, he explained in detail how he would carry out the repair. He replaced the battery in my DKNY watch and re-sealed the casing for me, he even gave me a guarantee for the repair! Thank you, Nathan ????

From the outset what was clear was that the staff new their business. They were able to advise on my Drayfuss watch, which required a new battery and a replacement strap. The strap needed to be ordered and fitted at a later time. Throughout, the staff at the Nottingham branch and principally Scott Gibson, were polite, informative and respectful. They even remembered my name when I visited the Lab for the second time without any reference, which was impressive.
