They would have a Zero star rating if that was possible. Customer Service is actually totally non-existent. I ordered some furniture with a delivery date of a week later. Two weeks later and following a couple of automated text messages telling me my order would be delivered on certain dates and then no delivery on those dates. I now find that you can't actually get in touch with their customer services as the number they provide is never answered, or if after 45 minutes it is, of course, that person can't help and they have to transfer you to another department who then don't answer their phone. I wasted 2 hours of my life getting absolutely nowhere! You email them via their contact form and they don't bother to respond other than the automated reply so you know they have received your email!! To The Range - if you can't deliver items DON'T state a date by which the customer can expect their delivery - it's false advertising!

Wish I had read this page before I ordered from this awful company!!! Absolutely shocking customer service. Order wardrobes and chest of drawers from here. £550 worth, Never again!! Took ages for them to come then gave us a thirty minute warning they were coming to deliver them. I was out so they left outside beside shed. So heavy I had to ask a friend to come help me lift them inside. Opened box to find them damaged. Emailed asking to get them exchanged. Then ended up phoning the range in Aberdeen as I got no response to email. They were quite helpful then turned quite unhelpful very quickly. Constantly having to chase up about when our new wardrobes would arrive. Gave up in end due to the fact they lied for so long when they were in fact Out of stock. Asked for a refund so organised to get them picked up. That was a carry on aswell with the delivery company turning up at such short notice. Unhelpful when you don’t work near your house. Arrowxl picked up on the 6th of august. Nearly been two weeks since they picked them up. Phone call by arrowxl asking to pick up wardrobes. Clearly the company have bad communication skills with their team .Email from today saying they need to be picked up by 5th of August. This confused me cause today is the 17th of August. However the range are now saying that they are not in the warehouse , so we will have to wait another week for refund!! Phoned head office fobbed off to someone else. Phoned the range in Aberdeen today fobbed off to someone else ,who said they would phone back at half 5. Surprise surprise no call on my phone. Absolutely shocking customer service from all and not helpful in the slightest. I wouldn’t even enter the store again ,let alone buy from it. Also wouldn’t even give it a star.

We ordered garden furniture from The Range online as it wasn't in stock in The Range Bournemouth. It was supposed to be delivered signed for. It wasn't! It was dumped outside in damaged boxes. When we opened the boxes we found that it was obvious the furniture was a second and the bags of bolts and washers were completely open and spilled, with many missing through the holes in the box. The rattan was split in places and completely substandard. We tried to return the item by phoning the returns service - 15+ attempts at 45 minutes at a time. In the end we took it to the store, where they said it would take longer to get a refund but we accepted that. We then received a snotty email saying we had to pick up the goods as The Range supplier wouldn't pick it up from The Range as it had to be a domestic household. We returned back to the store and picked it up. We were then told by The Range Head Office we would have to organise pick up with the supplier directly. We tried but surprise surprise the supplier didn't answer, even after hours of calls. We then called The Range again. We were told we would hear within 3 days then pick up would be immediately organised. Yes you've guessed it - 3 days have come and gone and we've heard nothing. It's now been over 30 days since the initial delivery and The Range have been the most useless retailer we have ever come across. To say awful is a massive understatement. Shocking absolutely shocking. Never and we repeat never order something from this company. If they haven't got it in store then order elsewhere!

I clearly cancelled an order yesterday morning , I received a email from the range to confirm this , this morning £919 has been taking from my account , spoke to a lovely gent who has put a manual transfer baa as ck to my account , this will t as me uoto 5-7 working days , which I find astonishing, technically the company has robbed me , I would never purchase anything on line from the range again , luckily I can afford to see £919 leave my account , if I couldn’t afford it , the company shows absolutely no compassion , Ran by utter Scum bags at the top end .

After reading all the terrible reviews I feel I haven’t come off too badly as I am only trying to get back £26.99 for a couple of doormats. Nevertheless I have to agree that the Range has the worst ever customer services. My goods were from a third party company and sold by the Range. When I contacted this company I found them to be so helpful and pleasant. They had received my parcel back and told me that they advised the Range to issue a refund to me. They even said that they too had difficulty dealing with the Range. I had been contemplating buying garden furniture but not now. It’s a shame really because I shop at the store often and always found it to be good value for money but I will think twice now.

DO NOT ORDER ONLINE!! NO CUSTOMER SERVICE AT ALL!!.. no email response, calls go unanswered even after 2 hours! Social media no response. IN-STORE IS NOT INTERESTED IN YOUR ONLINE ORDER SO DON'T THINK YOU CAN JUST RETURN IT THERE EITHER. This is the worsts customer service I've ever encountered EVER!!.. NEVER AGAIN... btw I'm still waiting for my refund, With no response from customer service I may have to go through Resolver or Cc company it's that bad!!. This is my first ever review, I had too as I'm getting nowhere with The Range Do not buy from THE RANGE ONLINE if you value your sanity...

Ordered a bed from The Range. Arrived 2 WEEKS LATE from the date we were told in store. When it did arrive the instruction manual was missing except page 5 of 5. Called the number for head office and been waiting for someone to answer for over 30 minutes so eventually hung up. Went to to the store and was given a manual which was for a different bed. As putting bed together it came apparent that the side pieces and the bars were for a smaller bed whereas the rest of the pieces were for a bigger bed. Rang head office and waited 45 mins for them to answer. Was told they would collect the bed and then refund us once they had recieved it back but quick take money when they were selling it to us. Every staff member spoken to just didnt not care at all and showed no empathy whatsoever.

Hi, I have refused my delivery because I couldn’t cancel my order due to waiting time on the phone (calls never answered), despite calling several times. I called everyday from the 11th August for a week but still had no luck on getting through to the customer service for my refund. Due to my order being linked to the Range plus, the waiting time on the phone is triple. I have also sent 4-5 emails regarding the issue but had no reply either.

I ordered 2 wardrobes in march and when assembling we noticed some faults, i contacted the range only to be told they couldn't do anything because i had started to assemble them, i explained that one of the problems wouldn't be noticed until assembling but they were not listening, i had a problem with something a few years ago zmand was sorted straight away so i dont kniw what has happened to their customer service now but it is terrible. After ordering these wardrobes i ordered a chest of drawers seperately also in march and was told it would be delivered in june which was bad enough, then i got tokd it would be august, i have now been told it would be september, i hsve tridd to phone them but like others have said i was stuck on the phone for over half an hour with nobody answering. This is totally unexceptable but they get away with it.

Purchased The Portland range of garden furniture in May 2020, with the hot weather we experienced mid July the furniture self combusted and set fire to other garden furniture and ruined our new garden decking. Contacted the range the following day to advise of what had happened which is quite a serious complaint and they couldn’t have cared less. Have had and emailed confirming receipt of my initial complaint and another from a customer service advisor to which no other contact has been made. Trading standards & the Office for Product safety are now involved and plan on taking further action against the range. Not even the CEO Alexander Simpkin can be bothered replying to a LinkedIn message regarding the dangerous and unfit products the company he is in charge of sells. Save your money people! Steer clear and buy elsewhere! They aren’t interested in issues or if a problem arises! Spend your money elsewhere!

Waited 5 months for a £1000 item that was paid for in March only for it to arrive damaged in the courier warehouse. Item was never sent to us even though we had a scheduled delivery. 10 mins after the delivery time we got a text saying it was damaged. Customer service incredibly unhelpful. Paying £1000 for a product that was never in stock, effectively selling something that doesn't exist. No remorse or apologies. Not even a hint of I'm sorry. 2 our of 3 pieces were fine yet never sent. Communication between the range and it's courier is a shambles. I can speak to both in less than 25 mins but it takes 2 working days for an email to be processed. Joke business.

What a trashy company. Literally kept waiting on the phone for a minimum of 40 minutes before anyone answer. Maybe consider hiring more staff? Idiots. Been waiting weeks on my refund. Will not be shopping with them again. Absolutely useless

Two Seater Powered Recliner That Wasn't Ordered and paid for a 2 seater powered recliner sofa. It was delivered on the agreed date, however when assembling it discovered that there were no electrics for the "Powered Recliner". Reported the issue on the same day and got all the usual call centre BS, that it would take several days to do this that and the other. Suggested that it would be simpler to remove the electrical kit as shown in the assembly instructions from a stock sofa and send it in a shoe box sized package rather than re-packing the whole thing and sending a vehicle to take it away. However this level of common sense appeared to be above their capability and they insisted that they would take it away. So I agreed to them sending a lorry to collect it and suggested that they deliver the replacement at the same time, to save time cost and carbon footprint. Now I was really talking "Rocket Science". No the vehicle would collect it and then 14 days later another vehicle would deliver a replacement (with or without the electrics, who knows). At this point we were now over a month since the initial delivery and confidence in The Range to do anything right was seriously in the minus quantities. So having had enough I told them to collect this one and give me a full refund as per the Consumer Protection Act of 2015 as the goods were unfit for purpose. They finally removed the offending article, but it was the best part of 2 weeks before they managed to figure out how to refund the money to the card. All in all a massive waste of time and effort. When they finally agreed to the refund, they said to go to my "nearest store" to effect the refund. When I got there the initial response was that they thought the manager wasn't there. Then they found him and his initial response was that I had to go the the store where I placed the order 40 miles away. When I drew his attention to the email that said "Your Nearest Store", he changed tack and then said that they didn't have enough cash to make the payment. I then asked him to "Read" the documents that I had handed him, in particular the bit that showed "Card Payment" and finally he ran out of ideas he could use to block the refund and finally processed the refund. My advice, for you to take or leave as you see fit: DON'T TOUCH THEM WITH A BARGE POLE! If you go into any of their shops rest assured you won't bump into me.
