Ordered garden furniture totalling over £1,000 back in March with delivery date of next week. Not had an email confirming so had to call and waited for 40 minutes to speak to someone only to be told furniture arriving in UK next week and in his experience would take a further 2 weeks for delivery (no definite date given). Shocking service considering the amount of the purchase and how long I am having to wait. I will be looking elsewhere in the meantime to see if I can get a quicker delivery!!

Absolutely appalling online customer service. Had a damaged wardrobe delivered (black marks on white wardrobe that don’t come off and dented mirrored doors) I was on hold to customer care for 1hr 20mins and still didn’t get through. No response to emails and finally got a response from Facebook. They sent replacement glass doors, which were also all damaged. Finally offered for me to keep the wardrobe and either have a replacement or full refund. I messaged to ask for the refund option and was then told that they can’t offer that after all!! This was after I built the wardrobe due to my daughter returning home from uni and needing a wardrobe. I asked to be called by a manager and was told that managers are not customer facing and so can’t speak to me and that Facebook is head office and the only people that can deal with enquiries. It’s still ongoing and they won’t offer me any ‘compensation’ for all the hassle as they say this is a legal term. I might get a gesture of goodwill!!!! Avoid at all costs

So wish l'd checked this site before being stupid enough to order patio chairs & table online from the Range. My story very similar to those love just read on here and l could cry! Ordered online at beginning of May then advised by email that delivery would be around 4 June - that was no problem. We actually received the items on 3rd but when we opened the box one side of one of the chairs has both plastic end stops missing and even the chrome strip that should hold the end in place. We would have to try and find something to level up chair in order to sit on it! I have filled in 2 customer return requests (with photos) phoned the so called customer service number 3 times - no answer - just music playing for 30 minutes each time. So on 9th June l called our local store in Bury St Edmunds - spoke to James and after he spoke to manager l was advised that we could return to store......but after we struggled in with large heavy box we were told sorry they couldn't refund as order was fulfilled by their "trusted partner". I wasn't happy! The manager called a number and l was promised that someone would email with a collection date. I did get an email which stated the collection would be the 15 June. We waited in ALL Day - no-one came. I called the store again next day - the girl l spoke to was very apologetic and said she would contact them again. She called back to say l would get email - which l did saying they were waiting to hear from their trusted partner with new date. Still waiting and now l've read these reviews l am not at all hopeful of getting faulty goods collected and a refund. I agree with other people on here something should be done! The Range are taking our money under false pretences - this is fraud and also theft. They are not adhering to online retail law and all we can do is report to Trading Standards. I feel very angry and duped.

Just the worst customer service. Ordered may 15 for June 17 delivery, they then sent a threatening email saying my summer furniture delivery was being pushed to Sept 7, when on the site, they're still selling the product to people promising July 17 delivery. Online support is completely useless, took a month to get a "no" response when asked for dimensions, and their phone line permanently has a 30 minute wait time.

Ordered on 10th May 2021. Delivery supposed to be next week, 23rd May 2021. Email received today stating estimated delivery now 12th August. Disgusting behaviour from the Range, knowing full well there is a shortage and we now have no garden furniture throughout the summer. Be very careful with ordering from the Range, they cannot meet their estimated delivery dates.

Swing set is wrong colour - says beige it’s light brown. Cheap nasty material - all creased badly - can’t iron as has plastic coating. Then when put together seat tilts forward so you feel like your falling forward off it and canopy is not level due misaligned metal teeth on side hinges. Want to return but they don’t answer their phone and the online form doesn’t work. DO NOT BUY FROM THESE PEOPLE EVER!!!!!

Still waiting on a delivery which was supposed to be on its way to the courier since 1st June 2021. All I want is a true update from the customer service team who say the same thing each day when I ring. Unless you purchase the item in store and take it away, I wouldn't buy anything online. The dates they put on line for delivery are just to make you make a purchase.

Ordered solar lights 10/6 paid for next day delivery. Did not arrive. I have tried numerous times to telephone just kept on hold for ages. Sent online form but by the looks of the other reviews I won’t hold my breathe it will even be looked at. No idea how to get my delivery fee refunded & no way to track my order. Terrible service no idea how this company is still operating.

I have awarded one star as the option of zero wasn't available. The communication this company gives customers is appalling!! However it seems I am in the same boat as so many of their customers, who have chosen to give their hard earned cash over and have received nothing in return. My order was placed mid March in store for Garden Furniture, with a delivery date 25th May. I took a day off work, for no furniture to arrive. I rang the store and there was no recollection of my order!! It was discussed that it would be taken up with head office and the store manager would ring me the next day. 16 days later I am STILL waiting on a manager to call me!! I have rang numerous times and no date can be given. We visited the store last week and were given 16th June as delivery yet that would be confirmed at the beginning of this week, with a call. I have just had to chase up the call myself to be told its now 9th July!! If I hadn't rang no one was telling me otherwise. The girl on the phone was no help, however that isnt her fault. Why should she be put in that position when management haven't got the professionalism to acknowledge my call. Not to mention I am not entitled to go to the store and get my refund as they cannot do that?!? Why I do not know, especially as i have my receipt order number and the card it was purchased on at that branch. If you cannot give your customers a set answer, at least offer a decent customer service and make contact. Instead your passing people from pillar to post. The attitude from management upto head office is appalling. Having spent 21 year in customer services and management for an international company I think i know how people should be dealt with and it certainly is not like this!! We are currently looking further into this matter

Hi there, I wrote the the last review I’m Patricia Pinder my husband is Barry. Can we all get together and perhaps write to trading standards. There are too many of us for it to be a coincidence. They are ordering stuff they know is not going to arrive and our money is in their bank gaining interest. Further more does no one in authority read these reviews. It’s not just one Range it’s all over the customer service stinks and the attitudes are worse.

It is understaffed, I was straggling to find a member of staff to help me. So when I finally found someone he didn’t have any idea where could I get a product. Lack of training and customer support.

Have NO idea how this company carries on. After ringing NINE different branches without anyone picking up, thought I would try the Head Office, as I wanted to know if a particular garden set was coming back in store, WHAT A JOKE! Again NO-ONE answers, I was on hold to horrendous music(think it's so you put the phone down), for 32 minutes, then a recorded message regarding their website. Tried twice again, once holding for 22mins, second time 28 mins- gave up! Following day, saw the identical one on TJHughes website, what a difference. Phone answered on 3rings, went to the shop, they couldn't do enough for us- even helping to put the boxes in our van, such lovely staff, so pleased we gave them our £499 ,instead of The Range. Must say at this point that The Range, Eccles & Rochdale DID answer the phones & were very helpful, but so wish i could give the HO zero stars

I would like to give no stars but it won’t let you. I am so angry I don’t know what to do. On the 24th April my husband and I bought a garden table, six chairs, two umbrellas and a stand. We had to order the table and because there were no chairs in the warehouse we couldn’t have them delivered. So my husband struggled to get three chairs in our saloon car took them home and had to go back for the other three. Our table was due to be delivered on the 27th may but because of the Suez Canal trouble it was postponed until the 7th June. The 7th June came and my husband decided to track it, on doing so he found in had been returned. So he went on the live chat and was told it had been sitting in their warehouse for two weeks and they had no delivery information or contact number so sent it back to the supplier. My husband rang the Range and spoke to Tracy who said we needed to get a refund. Of course we no longer needed the chairs or the umbrella. We asked for them to be picked up as we had paid a delivery charge for the table. Oh no! Can’t do that because they were bought in the shop. So my husband has to now struggle with two trips to the return them. I rang head office to complain and the short version is, this happens now and then and it’s just hard luck sorry for the inconvenience but that’s the way it is. We now have no garden furniture because we gave our old one away. We have no way of getting any more. So where do we sit for the summer. We are both pensioners and could do without all this stress. I don’t know what else I can do but I am so disappointed in the range. I have done lots of shopping there in the past but I won’t be buying any big items in the future. They are to blame for this by not doing their job properly. It must be something they get away with all the because their attitude is so what it’s just hard luck. They are a lot of blundering idiots who can’t do their jobs properly and are incapable of offering a proper apology. Where has the phase “the customer is always right” disappeared to.

Avoid the Range at all costs - Worst customer experience ever. Item received damaged over 6 weeks ago - They don’t respond to emails and after 20 emails they finally did and offered a refund - that was 3 weeks ago and still no refund and now given up. I will never shop at the Range again

Absolutely useless - waiting for response since 1 June to missing part. they say it will be 4 working days at most. Went into nearby store and they are washing their hands of anything bought online. Given number - rang it (kept waiting for half an hour). When i did get through the person did not recognise their own order number and then the phone call ended (i didn't press any button so assuming he lost interest).
