Was billed two months for thrir TVSP program which I never asked for. Disputed the charge and filed a complaint with the BBB. Never do business with them. WARNING!!!!

Been a customer for over 10 years & Im done with them.. Shaddy tactics are bad business!! My advice stay away from doing any business with these rip off artists!!

I placed a $400 order for Christmas presents to extended family and coworkers. When I received the order it looked like some had opened the box and walked all over the contents inside. The gift pack that I bought included 2 scotch glasses and both were broke. Both Lighters that I bought didn't work. I called and must of got lucky and got a American Lady who spoke good english to send me a UPS Return Shipping Label...And 3-4 days later I finally received it. 2 Weeks later I noticed they only refunded $350 of my $400 order. I called to see what was going on and of course I got the foreign chick with a horrible accent who couldn't help on send and email to the American, English Speaking People to get back to me in a couple days. If you look at Thompson Website it tricks you into buying in quantity to get a price you can usually beat down the street and you local cigar vendor...Oh and I bet they are more ethical and speak good english! Never Again!

My Bonus Box club delivery was a day late, so I called the old owner Robert Franzblau. (813 286 2619) RF lives a few doors down from me on Culbreath Isles drive here in Tampa. His wife Jo answered, and said they have been pretty disappointed with the new owners. RF came to the phone and was pretty frustrated also, so he called Scandanavian Tobacco and got it straightened out the same day. My Cigars were hand by Bob wearing his signature white and blue stripped rail road jacket and hat. RF also brought a bottle of Opus One and a box of Opus X Piramide with his compliments. We enjoyed the wine a day later fishing and eating fabulous food cooked by his personal chef on RF's Viking yacht. Like most things in life, its not what you know but who you know. Cheers!

Was a customer for more than 5years, customer service is terrible had a billing problem, couldn't get a phone rep, finally they called me, told them to give me a bill in writing, told me they would, instead sent it to collection. Worst customer care ever.

Customer service is non existent, hold times of an hour or more. prices are great, delivery is slow, if you even get your order shipped. Returns and Refunds next to impossible. First you're on hold for an hour, then the rep is an uninformed fool. Wait time of a month to get return labels then another month to get your refund, if you get it at all.

I placed an order back on September 11. I finally called last week and was told the order was still on back order. They said they had my billing info. Now I receive an email telling me there’s a problem with my pay pal. There’s NO PROBLEM. I called and was told the cigars are back ordered yet again. What a mess!! Take me off future mailings. I’ve had a very bad experience recently with Thompson cigars. I’ve been a long lasting customer for a very long time and recently I placed an order with them and the credit card stayed in processing for four days. I never got any correspondence why, any emails, phone calls, nothing. When I called they told me it was an internal problem on their end and that they were working on a resolution. I should note this is the same credit card I always use when I From them weekly. I ended up canceling my order and bought locally. I thought I would give them another try And had the exact same experience as the first time. I denticle experience. Except this time I called on Monday and was told everything looked fine with the order it should ship out on Tuesday. I called on Tuesday and was told that the order is still processing and then I would receive a phone call by 5 PM with the disposition on it. The representative said she would put a rush on the order and have it sent out to me the next day and she would have information for me by 5 PM. I never received a phone call. I called back at 7 PM and was told that they could have the order sent out within two days and all they could do for me was remove the extra shipping that I had paid for. Unfortunately I will never be ordering from Thompson’s cigars again. And I will be leaving a review like this on every social media platform.

Their eMail support is the worst in the business - They are even rude and NEVER answer "Replies" You get one chance and they usually wait 2 days and send you some DUMB answers based only on LINE 1 of your query. They never read past line 1. They are closed on Weekends from Friday Noon until Monday noon. They cannot solve the most mundane issue or even answer a basic question. Gave up trying and went to Mike.

I put in an order over a month ago with only part of the order delivered due to they claim they ran out of stock. I checked the website several times and they show they are available. I tried emails to customer service at least 15 times with no reply. I tried calling a few times but all representitives were tied up( waited 10-15 minutes each time. They were happy to charge my credit card for the entire order even knowing they were out supposedly out of stock. To bad 0 stars are not an option.

I've been a customer of Thomson Cigar for quite a while. What a disaster their customer service has turned into. I have called 8 times since July 2019 and have been on hold from 8 minutes to 28 minutes. Most of those calls, I hung up in frustration. It seems their customer service has been outsourced to another country...so much for their 100 years of service! What a pitiful example of customer service. Earlier this year, I was totally misinformed about one of their clubs and I have had difficulty with orders. I am guessing Thomson will be out of business very soon. No one will want to do business with them again once they have experienced horrible customer service. So sad for an old American company.

I have been ordering for many years. always good prices. fast shipping. very happy . UNTIL I ordered some filtered cigars, i thought hey its okay I can return it right? NOPE! Noone picks up the Customer Service phone calls :D :D hahaha, they like , hell, haha we got the money, haha.. who cares ... well I guess I will recommend to no one since its kind of creepy knowing they have no customer service . so FIX the Customer service . PLEASE DONT BUY FROM THEM. there are others like cigars international or etc...

Customer service does not exist ! Sent cigars back to them an that was a mo. ago an no credit to my card , Called thompson numerous times an you sit an wait an wait an wait for assistance to no avail . Terrible service or should i say no service !

Horrible customer service. They don't answer their customer service lines or respond to emails. My order has been "processing" for nearly two weeks!! I can't even cancel as no one will answer the phone or respond to email. I won't use them again.

My WWll veteran father in law passed nearly 4 years ago. We continue to constantly receive mailed catalogs from Thompson Cigars in his name. I have called Thompson several times, and they assure me this will stop.....not true. Holding most recent catalog in my hand, in my father in laws name, and am on hold with the customer service line for just passing 30 minutes. Is this the kind of operation one would do business with????

I placed a number of orders with Thompson Cigars online and then I received e-mail stating that there was something wrong with my credit card. This is the same card I have used for the past year. The charge for the cigars also appeared on my CC statement. I tried to contact Thompson Cigar but you cannot get them on the line. Especially Customer Service. Still on hold after 20 minutes. Anything but Customer Service.

Got signed up to their Total Values Plus service (scam) In May 2018. I did not ask for it. Nor did I receive anything. I did not know it until January 2019. My wife usually pays the bills. As luck would have it. One recent statement I checked. They missed billing that month. Then double billed the next month. CC statement did not say Thompson Cigar, but TotalValueP . It was a different 800 number. I notified my CC company. Filed a complaint, and canceled my card. By the way. I never leave a CC number on file. This card was only for online purchases. I had not any problems with this card since 1997. Thank You Thompson Cigar Company scammers !
