I visited the timpsons store front in Morriston supermarket in the gyle shopping centre Edinburgh today I was looking to have new heals and new soles on my belstaff boots. Stand in manager for today was no help whatsoever, every question was met with a big NO. Can't do it have to send away cost you £100. Back in November 2020 I brought another pair of belstaff boot for the same service and the manager did the job without a problem and cost £40. Very disappointed with today visit.

I turned up the afternoon to the Timpsons in BS39 7SW to get one simple key cut. It was about 13.30hrs today - 18/01/2021. The young man on duty asked if I want to come back in 5min,- so I responded that I go to do a quick shopping. 10min later, I got my key cut , I refused to take a receipt as I thought I don’t need it. I drove home - checked the new key and to my disappointment, the new key didn’t work. This supposed to be my spare key. I returned back to the shop immediately and found the same guy . He was very annoyed that I returned with his badly done product. He was very rude and argumentative, responding that he is sure he has done good job and the key should work. I asked his name and the name is f his Principal - he refused abruptly and his facial expression was very aggressive. He has done another key cut but all his attitudes and absolute lack of manners was unnecessary. What a damaging attitude of this boy to such a big company with reputation for excellence and great customer service of which I experienced in various branches in UK, but unfortunately not today. I wasted my fuel to drive up and down , I faced very stressful and bad service, I wasted my time .

Timpsons Sainsburys Tritton Road. Some of the poorest customer service I've received. Took watch for a replacement battery under battery for life scheme. Passed watch and battery for life card to member of staff. Response was " you'll need to go to morrisons or Asda, we're closing in an hour". My response was surely it only takes a couple of minutes. Staff response "well their closing 50% of outlets for 5 weeks so doing nothing just waiting for notice to close, cant help you". I just took my watch and card back. Yes these are difficult times and we are all under pressure. This guy might not like it but its customers who help to pay his wages now and in the future. I will thing again before I use Timpsons and part up with hard earn cash,

Needed 4 keys to be cut in Longton, Timpsons quoted over £30 for the job, I went 2 minutes around the corner and paid Below £20. I asked for the best price and was informed that it was a set charge. The independent store I went to were very efficient and even gave me a free coloured key head and ring to carry them on. I think that the difference in cost, over £10 was too much to excuse for a 5 minute service, and I will not be tempted to use them again. The attendant was, however, polite.

Extremely rude and aggressive member of staff at Timpson based outside Sainsburys Purley Way Croydon. I made an enquiry for a iPhone screen repair however, after receiving such disgraceful customer service I decided to take my custom elsewhere.

I was upset and shocked by the extremely rude way I was treated by the engraver in Timpson's on Kingsway, Holborn, London. Was this prompted by sexism, ageism or was he having a bad day? (It was just after 8am, so I'm not sure about that). Timpson has lost my custom.

very bad service, rude and disrespectful workers. I put things to wash and when I went to get up they only gave me two instead of three items that I left to wash. I noticed that my things were poorly washed or I don't even know if they are washed because they remained dirty. The answer they gave me is that they are not responsible for cleaning things now I ask then what is the laundry function? I paid £ 20 for nothing. the employees were extremely rude I do not recommend this company to anyone. timpson Bradley Stoke -30/10/20

I wanted the battery replaced on my key fob and was told it can be complicated and people often mess up when doing it themselves. Any way I was quoted £14.95 so I agreed as I didn’t want the key not to work and couldn’t unlock my car. It took the man maximum 2 minutes to put a £1 battery in it. I got home and thought I would replace the battery in my identical spare key and it took me 30 seconds.

Glasgow union street Here is the thing I was shocked by the rudeness of the annoying little tool I spoke to. I went In and asked to make sure they did pictures for a passport. He said to me yes, and to make sure I'm keeping myself right, I asked the guy what about my mask, in a sarcastic tone the little maggot said to me, " you need to take your mask off" in a sarcastic tone, leaving me feel small totally

Timpsons lost an All Seasons king size duvet of my fathers that was originally purchased from John Lewis. Despite the claim being made due to Timpson's incompetence they refused to give a settlement that would enable my father to replace his duvet with a comparable product as we were unable to produce a receipt. When you leave your items this isn't made clear. Only once you claim is it requested but still there isn't mention that it will affect any settlement offered. It was difficult to find a receipt when the duvet had been purchased by my recently departed mother but this is of no concern to them apparently. The 'customer care' lacking at all levels. Word of warning, don't leave any items with them unless you have a receipt. I'd recommend you go to a local cleaners where it is done in house and the possibility of losing your items less and the customer care is much better.

Just had an awful experience at Timpson in Cleveleys and wanted to share to avoid others wasting their time. Went to get my mum's key cut. Had to take it back 3 times as it did not work. No apology the guy just told me he was the manager with 6 year's experience as if that made a difference when the key didn't work. He just threw £10 at me and said 'Have a refund darlin'. So rude. I went to the key cutters opposite the library in Fleetwood and they did it first time so it wasn't me or the key. I would suggest avoiding Timpson on Victoria Road if you want the job done right first time the key cutter in Fleetwood is Fantastic!

My daughter took her phone in for a replacment battery at timpsons in the mall cribbs causeway and the store managed to damage her screen. 3 visits later and a whole load of lies from the three staff members there and the screen was replaced but the way we have been treated has left a very poor view of timpsons.

Tring Rd, Aylesbury Took (fully operational) phone in to have screen replaced - when I went to pick it up was told that it would no longer turn on and this was probably due to underlying issues since the screen cracked. Was also informed it should now be sent off to their tech department to look into the problem further - would take about 7 days. I suggested maybe it was just the battery had run down * but was assured no as he had tried to recharge it. Took phone home, plugged it in just to see and it came on straight away. I am hoping the above was due to the persons incompetency rather that a way of extracting more money from me * The battery was fully charged when I took it in so what the person did on my phone to run it all the way down is quite a sobering thought . Hope he found it interesting .

I would like to share my experience with Liam on 25/01/2020 @ 13:00 at your Asda Coventry, Walsgrave store. I went in with my wife to get her watch battery replaced thinking that we can get a positive experience. Right away though the colleague was not helpful in explaining the price, nor was he friendly at all. As soon as he had replaced the battery, his attitude was focused on getting the payment completed. We thought to inspect the work for our own comfort but he was huffing as if he had a massive queue. The store was empty , so there no other customers he was serving. I had enquired about my car keys and instead of explaining the method on how it would be done, he was being rude and was treating me like a 5 year old child by repeating his words on a harsher tone. I have to say this has been my worst experience ever with Timpsons!

So I go into the Ramsgate branch to keys cut and the guy moaned the whole way through stating it was his lunch break and shouldn’t be working, I asked him why he hadn’t shut the door and apparently his not allowed to shut the door until 5-30 which I find shocking, so not only does your employee have to stand outside the shop for his break it’s still disturbed as his not allowed to shut the door, so even going to the toilet the door stays open, I don’t know if you as a company think this is fair, not only do you have to take a loan out to get your keys cut you have to listen to someone who really wasn’t happy complaining, and I think he has every right to do so it’s absolutely disgusting that he cannot have a correct break in a whole day, just to suit business needs surely your employees are important??? You need to be able to shut the door with a sign saying that you are CLOSED for 30 mins so your employees can refuel and have a break

I visited their Selborne Walk Walthamstow E17 branch to get a replacement battery for my G10 watch and was quoted the ridiculous price of £18.45 for such a small item,i know this as i went to a small store named Tick Tock in Stamford Hill N16 and was charged only £5. The manager for Timpsons whom i was in communication with thinks it is acceptable to charge this price and says it is correct. Guess which place of business will be getting my custom in future.

I’ve just purchased a pair of heel grips. Last week I purchased a pair from Clark’s at £1.30. Today I have paid £3.95 at Timpsons, Sainsbury’s at Farlington. Could someone explain why a basic pair of heel grips warrant them to be over 100% more in price. Timpson prices are scandalous!! Won’t ever be returning to Timpsons.
