“At 6:39pm I received booking confirmation email; at 8:21pm I received email my booking accidentally confirmed and a full refund would be issued. Highly disturbed that in less than two hours, the credit card transaction wasn't voided so it never fully hit my account. Was also asked if I had any other available dates to which I responded, and haven't received a reply in 36 hours. I'm not feeling it :(”

Hi Damita, Thank you for your review. We have had a look at your booking and are sorry to see that the tour operator was not able to confirm your space. When you requested this tour, your credit card was pre-authorised as part of a process that your bank carries out to guarantee that funds are available to pay for your tour. This means there was a temporary hold put on the funds needed for the payment. A refund is still pending for your booking as we are waiting for the tour operator to confirm an alternative departure date. The TourRadar Customer Support Team is available 24/7, whilst the tour operators are not. Depending on where the tour operator is located and their local operating hours can cause a delay to responses. TourRadar will be reaching out to you on your booking conversation page to confirm whether an alternative departure date might work. “Very simple. Asked a few questions to help us make decisions. Replies quick and helpful. Only problem, they could not do as we wanted re increasing the rail pass when we wanted. Was very disappointed. Booking was then easy, following instructions given along with the quote.”

“I have been an avid user of TourRadar for 4 years now and I have booked the majority of my international travel through their website. Their website has gone through changes over the years and with the extensive filtering it makes it incredibly easy to find trips that are exactly your travel style and even targeted to specific travel times and dates. “The best of Portugal tour in 11 days covers the most important sites in Portugal. I find also very scenic places like Algarve, Porto, Coimbra etc. I am looking forward to my trip.”

“I'm a 65 y/o retired military man; I question and scrutinize everything that I pay for or receive free. The booking portion of my relationship with Tour Radar and the Tour Company has been very good. I often asked questions; sometimes I would wait a few days and ask the same question again to see if I received the same answer - I did. I gave them chances to MESS-UP and they didn't. Exemplary! This has only been Part One of the experience - check me out when I return after Part Two. To be continued............... s.hines”
