My most recent booking was a Covid-effect reschedule. Appears original trip no longer available but found something similar. Still waiting for a response as to whether my original deposit will be transferred to the new booking. Travel credits seem to be new? The booking process is definitely easy. With regard to my original trip, my experience was that the Travel Radar staff were always available, with very quick e-mail response time. Am hoping for a positive group tour experience in Sept 2022. As always, the single rate appears excessive - taking my chances I will be matched with a good room-mate.

This my second time booking with TourRadar. The first booking was for a trip cancelled by the Covid. Each time the experience was excellent.

Booking was simple enough, but we didn’t understand the process of also needing a confirmation number from tour operator, which we waited several days for. Otherwise good communication with Tour Radar.

Rebecca was the best. She was patient, knowledgeable, and was able to answer all of my questions. I felt that she went above the call of duty in helping me. I have used Tourradar before and I have experienced the same level of professionalism and competence with other staff members.

The booking process was as easy as it could be, but as soon as it was confirmed I realized it had the wrong date and I have been trying for two days to correct it, nobody will call or write back. Once they got you, they forget you. Not happy.

However, I can see that the tour operator has gone ahead and changed your date to the departure date you were hoping for! Post communications are below par. Currently another tour pending but lacks clarity. Unable to understand a 3 day tour is +$510 /day pp. Advise to my prior agreeing???

I landed on this site with a Google search and after going to other travel sites that offer tours of Great Britain, I pursued my search with Tourradar because they had tours scheduled that co insided with our travel dates and they had good reviews. Once we decided on the tour we wanted, the booking was easy to follow, we made our deposit and got the approvel for the booking the next day.

I do like and have used TourRadar over the years and love the ability to review/purchase tours from several companies on one portal. I am able to usually get an answer via the chat within 24hrs for any support questions I have from either the tour provide or TourRadar. Two things can be improved: 1) Tour providers are not updating their tours to be unavailable. I often reserve tours that show as available and only find out they are not days later, which causes me issues (e.g., travel credits locked, lost opportunities for other trips waiting for confirmation). I believe this has to do with the tour providers and TourRadar only receives the feeds from these companies. 2) The Travel Credit system being processed prior to trip confirmation. I believe the travel credits should only be processed AFTER the tour has been confirmed. I have lost travel credits a few times because I booked a tour that could not confirm me and my travel credits were not reimbursed. I think this is a lose-lose situation. I, as a customer, losing these credits makes me angry and I always end up asking your reps to retroactively add these credits for, a few times they did not. That is a burden for the TourRadar staff because it adds extra unnecessary support tasks for them to do.

It was a pleasure speaking to you and thank you again for leaving such great feedback! As discussed, when it comes to last-minute bookings, the confirmation process does become a bit more tricky. This is because the tour operator must make sure all aspects of the tour are available. With only 4 days to departure, we are happy to see that your tour was confirmed! After taking a look at your booking history, we can see that an agent added your Travel Credits to your booking while it was in a Pending Status. The tour was then declined and this explains while the tour lowered in price but then was found to be unavailable. Finally, Travel Credits are always added to your booking at checkout. If your tour is then declined, your Travel Credits are then automatically returned to your TourRadar account. Be sure to log into your account to view your Travel Credit balance. This will be our first tour with TourRadar. We were happy to find a tour that fell into the dates we needed (as another trip was postponed until next year). Look forward to our trip in October and will be able to review than how good the experience was.
