“I found working through Tourradar to be very frustrating, like playing tag. There seemed to be no communication between Tourradar and Luxury Gold, I was never informed of things like a tote bag and rucksack on offer to choose between, nearly did not get my airport travel vouchers, had to battle to get my itinerary before leaving on the trip. A long time delay before answering, the "local" number always engaged. It came to a point where I was frantically googling if it is a scam! Staff was helpful and friendly, but clearly had no knowledge of the product nor of the challenges clients from Africa face in booking trips. I will use the site to compare tours, but probably book directly in future. UPDATE: I was subsequently called by a customer service representative, who agreed unconditionally that I had reason to be dissatisfied. It felt good to be taken seriously and they offered me credit on a future booking, should I choose to use them again. Certainly changed a negative to a positive and I am willing to try again!”

Having looked into your file, we can determine that there were a couple of minor set-backs with some tour components during your booking process. As a booking agent, we liaise between the customer and the tour operator. Any services or components of a tour are handled exclusively by the tour operator which does take a little time to coordinate, according to their booking protocols. However, we do wish to assure you that our dedicated Customer Service Team worked hard to ensure that these were resolved and arranged with the tour operator as quickly as possible, and all final documentation provided before your tour departure date. “The price on Tourradar is keep on changing every day. Normally it changes during the noon time. There is no certainty about the frequent change. I was interested in a tour, but hesitate to book before I could confirm my ticket, but during the 3 days, the rate of this tour changed 4 times ( From Friday - Monday). So I give up booking via Tourradar, better book direct with the tour operator.”

Waiting for a price drop has you running the risk of missing out on your place on your prefered departure date due to availability, which is not dissimilar to the airline industry. “Very impressive. Tour Radar first of all offers you a huge range of tours from a huge range of operators, big and small. You can filter these down by location, cost, duration, type and even appropriate age range. But they do more. When my tour operator didn't respond they chased them up, twice!”

“Just booked my first trip with TourRadar. Right away I was impressed with the ease of navigating their sites. I searched many other UK tours online and this was the only one that offered what we were looking for. Everything is so well defined and any questions I had were answered extremely promptly and thoroughly. When it came time to book I really felt I had made the best decision and can not wait to go on our trip of a lifetime. So far so good!”
