I did not use the website but phoned as I had a question I wanted the answer before booking. I phoned 3 times on 4/5 to your 0800 number and had no pick up each time which was annoying as your answer phone stated there was a 24/7 365 days a year answer service availiable I phoned again on 5/5 and did receive a quick answer and a very helpful service which enabled me to provisionally book a trip. I had to wait till 7/5 to comfirm with my employer I could took the required dates. Having agreed this I again phoned the 0800 number to confirm ny booking and pay the deposite. Again no answer so as I was receiving e-mails stating my 48 hrs time limit for confirming my trip was running out I decided to use your 0043 (Canada) number which would be costly. Again I got through immediatly and the service was excellent but I was diappointed that this did not occur everytime and ended with me having to use a none free phone number. I was very close on 4/5 to give up trying to contact your company and use another one. regards

My booking experience was fantastic. The consent contact via email was exceptional. The booking was easy and user friendly. When emailing customer service they got back to me within an hour. Looking forward to you guys keeping up the great work.

I haven’t traveled to Europe in 20 years. TourRadar has taken all my fears away as I will be travelling on my own. I am so excited to experience Switzerland.

Booked a tour and had my credit card charged for one that wasn't available (it was said there was 1-3 seats left). The reason given for it not being available is because the tour operator hadn't updated the list. Quite a few of the tours list as '1-3 seats available'. Kind of misleading? Got my money refunded after sending 4-5 further emails.

Hello there, Thank you for your review. We'll be happy to offer you some clarity on the payment procedure associated with your booking request. When you place a booking request, (in the case your booking cannot be instantly confirmed), the funds on your credit card or PayPal account are pre-authorised. A pre-authorisation is a block or hold placed on the funds required to place your booking request, but no transaction is carried out until your booking is 100% confirmed. Unfortunately, some financial institutions do not provide their customers with a clear differentiation between pre-authorised funds and completed transactions, so we can understand your concern. The moment your booking request is declined, the hold on your pre-authorised funds is released, however it often takes 3-7 business days for your bank to make these funds available to you again. Your booking was declined within 24 hours of your booking request submission, which was accompanied by an explanation similar to this one regarding your pre-authorised funds and when you can expect them to be available for you again in your account. We received 2 emails from you in relation to this. We understand it's disappointing when your tour cannot be confirmed, but fortunately, we don't see it happen too often. The availability on our site is updated multiple times a day but naturally, we can only be as accurate as the information provided to us by our tour operator partners. It appears you only just missed out this time. While we too are disappointed we could not confirm your booking, we look forward to exploring your alternatives and are confident that before you know it you'll be setting off on the trip of a lifetime! After some initial confusion, the miscommunication between TourRadar, me and Utracks was resolved and resulted in our booking the cycling Normandy tour. Cudos to Natasha & Kate @ TourRadar for clear communication and reassurance; also thanks to Majeh @ Utracks for going beyond and snagging difficult to find accommodation which enabled our tour to go ahead. Majeh followed up with personal touch and gave us the confidence that we had made the right decision to go ahead

I’ve call several times to ask a few questions before booking my Tour and I received excellent customer service each time. Exceeded my expectation and gave me the best rate and sent me the link to book my tour. You can either do it online or over the phone these ease of using the link was excellent I highly recommend. I’m excited about my trip

I was pleased to have found a trip that suited me on the website. Booking was easy and TourRadar were quick to realise that the operator had not responded to my booking and they chased it up efficiently. However, I don't think it was made clear enough that I shouldn't have booked my flights until the trip had been confirmed by the other operator, or that the tour would not go ahead without a minimum number of participants.

In addition, the minimum number of travellers needed for a tour to run is set by the tour operator. They seem to have brought this to your attention prior to confirming your booking. Very unimpressed. Messages go unanswered and the price changed over I booked, increasing by 5%.
