“The Worst company that don't even support the company. I had bad experience when false feedback was left on my account and they refuse to retract the feedback. I am very disappointed.”

“I used to like Trust Pilot. I only write positive reviews and only use companies with positive ones. I heard about Purple Bricks and because their Trust Pilot rating was so high I used them. Regretted it. Lost me so much money and time. So I shared that on Trust Pilot. Immediately my review was removed because Purple Bricks complained it was 'bogus'. Trust Pilot asked me for proof. The burden of proof was on me, not on the accuser. So I sent them my invoice within minutes. No response. Days passed. No response. Had to hound their tech support team to get someone to respond. Eventually someone wrote me and said I needed to provide proof for my review. Proof, like, say, the invoice I'd already sent? So I sent it again. No response. This is how Trust Pilot help paying customers (companies) silence critical views by non-paying customers (consumers). Fundamentally broken business model which can lead consumers to trust services they should not. I no longer trust Trust Pilot.”

“I can go here and warn others of a bad experience or a good one.Like everything the final decision is up to the consumer. But it greatly helps to have another look from someone else.Most companies only show the good report and that is the first flag that should be an indication of them.”

“They made me realise how I could spot my competitors fake verified positive trustpilot reviews Although it took many months for trustpilot compliance to investigate trustjacked reviews they finally removed 35 fake positive trustpilot reviews for one website and dozens more since Would I use trustpilot as my companys trusted reviews collection platform errrr - not at this time. Maybe in another few years at the moment they are a company that cannot be trusted and any semblance of trust perceived by consumers and businesses has been hijacked from good companies and trusting consumers. “Posted a review for a company that failed to respond to a complaint. Since the review was poor, trust Pilot removed it. I cannot trust their ratings.”

“The reviews are not all genuine the company i checked had one review per hour, thousands of 5 star reviews, I foolishly believed the company was good and it wasn't. Then I read google reviews and I was horrified to see many 1 star reviews and no 5 star reviews!”

“I've recently reviewed on Trustpilot a company that had false advertising (they were promoting something as Free on Google, and when you customized your free item, you were asked to pay $38. Lots of sites had extremely negative reviews about that specific company from users who attached to their reviews the word "scam." It was strange that Trustpilot was the only site which gave that company full marks. So I left my negative review detailing exactly what transpired, how I was led from the Google advertisment onto clicking on the site, setting up the "free" product the way I wanted, basically spending some 30 minutes on it, only to be greeted with a "now you have to pay $38 because what you thought was free, was not." A few days later. Trustpilot contacted me that they have removed my rating as the company flagged it not true, and it will stay removed unless I provide proof of purchase, invoice, etc. Of course, I couldn't provide that since I didn't buy anything. As soon as I realized I was duped, I tailgated out of that site as fast as I could. The reason I reported that company was for false advertising and misleading the people. TrustPilot removed my review for good. Well, that's one place I'll never go back to review anything anymore.”

“They've recently removed my genuine review from their site without requesting me for any sort of documentation to substantiate my claims. Biased attitude towards protecting businesses that they have partnership with. Their claims that all of their reviews are verified are completely false and misleading. This site has no credibility whatsoever.”

“I contacted TrustPilot after the misfortune of dealing with an awful company called MODA FURNISHINGS. After my negative review was removed I noticed that the same had happened to many others. There were also many reviewers that had been contacted and offered cash/bribes or threats to up their rating!! This is clear to see on their own site and yet TrustPilot are completely unwilling to do anything about it - the company is a money making sham whose review system is entirely flawed.”

“I reviewed a company I used (Rated People in 2013) and Rated People contacted Trustpilot (TP) asking them to remove my review as they did not believe it genuine. TP contacted me and I proved I was genuine. TP then wrote to me and stated that because my experience as a tradesperson was between 2013 - 2014 I was outside the 12 months period I would have to have been within when I reviewed RP! I stated that I am willing to but the date 2013-2014 on my review, but apart from that I was a genuine client of RP. TP maintained my review was not good enough and maintained it be removed. Trustpilot are a sham and I would not trust their reviews as like others have found, if their clients - in this case Rated People - don't like the truth you have to tell others, Trustpilot will remove it and stick with their clients.”

“I was asked to rate Goggles4u.com I looked at the rating levels and wording. Terrible. One of the worst rating systems I have ever seen. Why anyone would use you as a rating/reviewing source is beyond me. I am in NO WAY affiliated with any company. I am a consumer.”

“I left a genuine negative review for one of Trustpilot's clients and Trustpilot removed this. They need to make clear in their online marketing to reviewers that negative reviews are filtered out by their clients. Further, that Trustpilot may only allow positive reviews to be reported. As it stands at the moment they are portraying the appearance of being independent and objective and it is far from the case. Customers only get to see filtered, positive reviews. Trustpilot is a sales and marketing organisation not an independent review organisation and their marketing should reflect this.”
