Absolutely rubbish, paid for tyres and did not book a time (extra cost) got a call to say they were running 1.5 hrs late, still nothing. Contacted at 14.45hrs to be told that they had a compressor fault on the van and he doesn't know when their operative would show up. Shocking service, they take your money straight away and they will only return the money 4 to 5 working days. Better going to a garage , At least you know where you stand !!!!!! Stay away ..

Used these guys twice. Once at work and once at home. Both times I had great efficient service. I would highly recommend.

False economy - regimented, scripted and poor customer service I purchased 4 tyres to be fitted on my drive. On the day of booking no one turned up, no message provided, no communication till late evening frustratingly I called only to be informed "we" might have a system issue!! Rearranged booking for another day and three were fitted as the mechanic didn't have the right spares/tool to fit the fourth. I finally managed to get the fourth tyre fitted and balanced at my cost and time at the local garage as the car was towed to the local garage. I then provided a VAT invoice for the refund of fourth tyre change (excluding TMPS and towing charge). Now Tyler Brooks from tyresonthedrive refuses to pay the charge which I had to pay extra since they provided poor service. Stubborn, scripted and poor customer services by the customer agent Taylor Brooks. And speaking of Bridgestone, Amazon vouchers were received two months after more than 10 emails exchanged and the final threat of mis-selling. What seems like a convenient arrangement has turned into a waste of my time and money - false economy.

NEVER again will i be taken avantage of the computor system they use to request the tyres is floored I put in precisely my tyre details and picked my tyres however because i didnt pick commercial tyres the fitter said they were the wrong ones. Well they shouldnt of be an option to pick them. The fitter just drove off anf told me to call the customer services who informed me they had charged me £40 and when i said what had happened she was less than sympathetic

Bought 2x davanti 255/35/19 tyres on 5/3/19 done a few hundred miles on them.1 of them has ocurred a cut in the sidewall. Taken to 2 independant tyre garages to be told its a defect with the tyre no visible damage seen on the rim or tyre other than said cut. advised to contact the supplier who sell these with a guarantee for such issues. Contacted tyres on the drive to be told this is happening a lot recently by one worker. Next day got an email saying the cut was caused by either malicious damage or hitting a pothole really hard. This is without physicaly seeing the tyre other than pictures i sent to them. They can send them off to be checked at another £40 from me or i can by another tyre. I will be doing neither from this company

This is the third time I have had to use Tyres on the Drive in four years. They gave me an excellent service again. The price and service were of a high standard and I am fully satisfied with what this company offers to me. The fitter was smart, polite and very professional. He clearly takes pride in his work and he did a great job. The fitter also looked after my alloys and offered professional advice for which I am greatly appreciative as in our case their was a real problem with our car. Without taking this fitter's advice we could easily have had a dangerous if not life threatening accident. Your fitter is a credit to your company, please keep up the good work.

Second time I have tried to use this company and the second time they have phoned me in the morning on the fitting day and cancelled, due to poorly (probably drunk) staff who had to be sent home. Absolutely pathetic. A company which boasts about "beating the garage" yet can't even fulfill their basic duties. Stick to the garages, they are a hell of a lot more reliable.

Total joke! Beware! Never ever use them! Do yourself a favour! Tyre fitter turned up and said he couldn't get my wheel nuts off because I didn't have the right tools. What? Aren't they supposed to have them? So the guy says the next day someone else would come with the right tools. Rang the company, the lady repeated over and over that they had sent a text saying that I should provide the socket, so it was my fault. After 20 minutes on the phone she told me to take a picture of the wheel to see if the tyre fitters could find the right tool. Sent the pictures. They said that my car (I swear my car is not a Ferrari or anything special) need its own socket and they don't have it. So they can't do anything at all. No suggestion on what I can solve the problem, no empathy whatsoever, the kind of attitude saying "it's your fault, YOU lost the tools to fit the tyre! (Actually I bought this car second hand and this was the first time I had a flat tyre) Am I too naive assuming that if I call a tyre fitter they SHOULD BE ABLE to do the job? Translation: they are - allegedly - tyre fitters with - allegedly - hundreds of tyre brands but they don't have the tools to fit them??? I was fuming, rang my garage and they say "don't worry, inflate the tyre, drive carefully and we'll fix it". Believe it or not, in a matter of seconds my angel mechanic remove the nuts with his NORMAL tools and in 15 minutes repaired the tyre. I was so appalled that I took a video. The whole operation cost me £ 30 because the tyre is still good. Tyres On The Drive refunded the cost of the TWO tyres I had ordered but did not refund the "visit" of their INCOMPETENT tyre fitter. I sent them an email with video and all with no avail. Of course. What did I expect? that their customer service was someone different from the company itself?! If only I had seen these reviews! I would have saved 4 days of waiting, £40 and most of all, peace of mind!

Absolutely diabolical!! First email sent- no response. Good Morning Further to my phone call with your company this morning, I would like to point you to the Consumer Rights Act 2015, specifically clause 62 which states that terms of a contract must not be unfair. It is then listed in Schedule 2 Part 1 terms which are unfair. In this instance I believe point 5 applies. This states that "A term which has the object or effect of requiring that, where the consumer decides not to conclude or perform the contract, the consumer must pay the trader a disproportionately high sum in compensation or for services which have not been supplied" Effectively by paying you £40 for the call out I am paying you compensation for goods that have not been supplied and now that I wish to conclude the contract I am going to lose £80 (£40 for the call out yesterday and a further £40 for the cancelled call out today) that I have paid to you and there has been no services supplied to me. You state that the cancellation fee is for same day cancellation, but I would like to point out that unless I pay extra for a specified time, I would not be aware of the time that the fitter would be arriving until the day itself. Effectively I am being punished because I chose not to pay extra for a service that I did not need. It is quite obvious that the address I have asked for the fitting to be done at is a workplace and I therefore question why you would send someone between 4 and 8pm as it unlikely that I would be at work during this time. I am happy to pay the call out for yesterday as someone did attend but could not perform the tyre change as I had ordered the wrong size. I am not, however, happy to pay the call out fee for today, when I called at 8am and not had any attendance from a fitter. This more than a sufficient amount of time to notify the fitter (my fitting 4-8pm). I understand that I have effectively signed your terms and conditions but I believe for the reasons I have laid out above, the contract is in fact unfair. Second email sent-no response. Good Evening Further to my email below I have received a phone call at 16.34 from the tyre fitter advising me ‘I’m 10 minutes away’ he went on to say ‘I have called head office twice’. Needless to say he was less than impressed when I told him I had called and cancelled my order at 8am this morning (11/04/19) and received a cancellation confirmation email. It would appear that my cancellation has not been passed onto your driver, which I find appalling. How can a business run effectively with an apparent lack of communication? Please can you kindly tell me when I will be refunded the outstanding sum of £181.98. £221.98, -£40 for the call out charge, leaving a remaining balance of £181.98 to be refunded to the card I used. I have also brought this to the attention of my credit card company. DO NOT USE!!!

ZERO Shocking. I would leave a ZERO rating but am unable too. Very poor, shocking service, I suggest you avoid using this company. I ordered 4 brand new tyres to be fitted and paid the total cost upfront. The fitter arrived and after several minutes advised me that he could not fit my tyres as the jack he had would damage my car. I suggested he use a different jack, however he said he didn’t have one. I even suggested rebooking the appointment so a fitter could return with a correct jack, he said they don’t have such jacks and this is a known issue. I therefore cancelled the order and expected a full refund. They kept back £40. I queried this with the company and after several emails they basically said management have decided there is no further communcation. So I lost £40. I ordered the correct size tyres, my car was in a safe and accessible place and yet they seemed to infer that it was my fault and not their fault that the tyres could not be fitted. I pointed out that a national company should carry a selection of jacks to accommodate the fitting of tyres to various cars. I will never use this company again and I suggest no one else does either. Shocking

SHOCKING service - phoned on Friday to be told we could get the tyre changed on Sunday morning, just been phoned to say they can’t get someone to us until Tuesday!!! So much for a 24 hour service, and we live in Oxoford, we’re not in the middle of nowhere!! Cancelled order and getting another company out tomorrow morning - AVOID TYRES ON THE DRIVE AT ALL COST

Convenient, arrived within time stated and changed 3 tyres in a busy car park very quickly. Also doesn't cost a lot more than going to a garage

First time of using this company and they are total scam, please avoid at all costs so as not to get charged the £40 call out fee as their system selects the wrong tyre size in the first instance. Their main selling point is an app that selects the tyres for you presumably making it easier to order the correct tyre however it does not make it clear that you will get charged a fee if the app makes the wrong selection. Go somewhere else so you don't get this hassle

Booked 3 tyres on Monday the 1st April to be fitted on my drive, they called on the morning to say driver was off sick so could not do it - ok fair enough these things happen.... but they cant book me in for another 3 days, fitter then turns up - says he doesn't have the right equipment to fit low profile tyres and I would need to speak to the office. I spoke to the office who could not offer a fitting for another day, then they called again to say that actually they do not have the right equipment in the entire company to fit my low profile tyres. Totally useless - do not sell tyres you cant fit!! waste of time - please avoid, especially when a company has a 59% 1 star rating. wish i had looked at reviews first.

Absolutely dreadful. I booked in all good faith giving 5 days notice. All going well at this point with time confirmed by email. On day of fitting another confirmation by text that fitter would be with me during the time slot. 5 minutes after the text a phone call to say that the fitter was off sick and so appointment was cancelled. Next available slot that was convenient for me was over a week away! Now, I appreciate that people are off sick, but surely a contingency plan should be in place? No apology for me wasting a days leave from work. They did promise to refund in full immediately. Well, apparently the refund was rejected by Paypal (who had no record of anything from TOTD) They then said they would refund my card. Nothing. 3 phone calls later and the refund turns up. Absolute shambles, avoid at all costs.

I phoned tyresonthedrive yesterday to advise that following the fitting of 2no. tyres on Thursday 28th March 2019, the drivers front side tyre was identified as 'flat' on Saturday 30th March 2019. The vehicle has not been driven since the fitting date due to medical reasons. (CCTV available) You advised that due to 2no fitters calling  in sick you had a reduced fitter resource and as such the earliest available date to inspect and investigate the fitting would be Monday 1st April 2019 btw 12:00 and 14:00hrs. I explained that I had work commitments but you offered no empathy or alternate sooner response. You also asked if I had tried to re-inflate the tyre.  On the grounds of road traffic safety of that of myself and other road users this is not a question  that should be even considered given the commute to a garage with a deflated tyre. That said, I did borrow a neighbour's pump. The pressure indicated 0.45 bar. The pressure should be 2.2 bar. I tried to inflate the tyre to no avail. It is really important to note that I have never experienced any issues with the valve on the said tyre prior to this installation. The reason I want to note this is due to the reocurring number of unsatisfactory reviews on trust pilot and other review platforms further to installations by Tyersonthedrive, where your customers have advised a flat tyre and Tyresonthedrive accept no responsibility. In addition, their appears to be 2no. Trust pilot platforms. Platform 1 - tyresonthedrive & platform 2 - tyres on the drive. It appears that the latter I's the dumping ground for any negative reviews! So my current position is that I have a vehicle parked on my drive that is unfit/unsafe to drive following expending £323.00 with Tyresonthedrive.com. I expect this issue to be resolved with immediate affect.  On Saturday 30th March 2019 your website had a available slots for tyre fits on Sunday 31st March 2019. I guess this was for customers wishing to add business to tyresonthedrive accounts and not hard earnt cash clients requiring urgent remedial work following substandard work, such as myself. I also guess these fitters have not rang in sick! I have taken the opportunity of copying BBC Watchdog in this mail for the record, should tyresonthedrive give a unreasonable, unsatisfactory response given this specific current response alone.

Pay a local tyre centre, It maybe a little more but hopefully will put cowboys like this out of business and support those who car about the service they offer. After they did not turn up and cancelled my booking, went to a local company and they beat the price too!
