The whole process of buying tyres on line has gone awful u have to go too Ur bank to verify its u but once this is complete u don't get taken back to Halfords website and order fails the process is terribly bad I believe this company must be loosing customers in droves

Booked and paid for time slot - bloke turns up 40 mins early. Wanted diagnostics done. When I told him the problems he said “I won’t be able to fix that” and with that said “I won’t plug anything in and cancel this so you will get your money back”. Fantastic I thought and very honest of him. That was 13 days ago. I have since heard nothing and have emailed twice asking for a full refund of nearly £70 - they haven’t even bothered answering the emails. Disgusting service and would not use again It asks further down how long it takes for them to get back to you and so far have heard nothing 😡

The guy put the tyres on the wrong around and argued that was how they were supposed to be. Only when I showed him the ROTATION arrow on the tyre going the wrong way he agreed to change them. This would have impacted my SAFETY! Not ok and in fact would have been a case for the lawyers had I not spotted it.

Do not use !!!! Damaged my car and waited over a month for a response,to which I was told the damage was already there ! Disgusting service .

Absolutely shocking service, first of all the technician was due out Friday just gone. Calls me 10 minutes before my time slot to tell me they have the wrong tyre for my vehicle, re book for Sunday (2days later) for a 12-2pm slot. No call of technician or message to let me know he was on the way, so I called them myself. Only to be told that the tyre hadn’t been delivered today so unable to attend once again. Ordered them to refund me to be told I have to wait another 5 days for the money. Will be using another company in the future as Halfords/Tyre on the drive are useless.

Really good service. I presume others who get good service don't review here. The guy was on time and friendly. He changed the tyre very quickly. Very well practiced, no wasted effort. No fuss. Just the kind of service you need. (Spennymoor area)

An oil service was carried out on my car at the start of February 2022. They put the incorrect mileage on the reciept. Many phone calls and emails later (2 months+) I still have not received an updated reciept. This will effect the resale value of my car if I do not have proof of the oil change for this year and nothing is being done to correct this error.

Rubbish Service Absolutely Rubbish service. First they ordered the wrong size and called me 10 minutes before the appointment. Then they gave me another date and did not turn up at all without no notice no calls or emails. When my partner called. They said they emailed and tried to contact me. This is a lie as i didn't receive any emails about the change or any missed calls or voice mails . Absolutely dreadful .. avoid at all costs!!

I placed an order on 1st April for 9th April 4-8pm. Paid for the slot. I recieved text and email confirmations the night before and the morning of the tyre replacement. At 7:53pm i called to chase my order and was told my tyre hadnt been delivered and i could be rebooked for Tuesday. I was due to travel the Sunday morning, was left with no car, and left to find an emergency solution. Eventually the depot called me as they had obtained a tyre which I was grateful for, however, the experience was not necessary. If i had been informed the tyre was not available i could have arranged an alternative or not travelled 95miles to get to my cars location. This was poor.

Paid up front for a puncture repair with replacement tyre (just in case). With guaranteed refund of unused service within 5-7 days Good communication and arrived on time, puncture repaired all good up to this point. However it’s now been 15 days and still no refined. No response (other than automated ) to email. 30 min wait on phone and still not answered. I would recommend only go for either or of these services or you will be out of pocket for a considerable amount of time.

Booked a 6pm-8pm slot and the tyre fitting engineer never turned up. Phoned up to see what the delay was and apparently he was still on another job. Booking system says he is on job 3 and mine is number 12. Despite that my job is noted as "completed" the next day. What??? My guess is the engineer didn't want to do overtime so just left my order open and the next day Halfords put it down as "completed" without even checking with myself. Requested a refund and still waiting. Very poor service and booking system. Ashame as they were apparently good before Halfords took them over. AVOID!

Operative never turned up or informed me that he wouldn't be attending. I had to ring up for a refund, which after 10 days was still not processed. I have rang up again and await a refund. very poor customer service and communication

Had a new battery fitted to my Merc and within a month went flat, so they sorted a new one out and fitted it, unfortunately because the first battery went flat the SRS light came on and the fitters machine could reset the light because his electrical device did not do the CLK Merc. He said take it to a nearby Halfords which I did and they didn`t want to know, suggesting I went back to Tyres on the Drive. I went back only to receive an email that said take it to an electrical mechanic to see whose fault it was. Halford get a one star but as far as customer service is concerned get a big fat Zero.

Unhelpful and unapologetic staff when you call them to ask why you are told at 4.30 that the engineer isn't coming to the job you had paid for him to attend between 4 and 6. When I called to ask how they didn't know the tyre was in stock at the beginning of the day.... they just didn't care and offered to rebook to a WEEKS time! Cancelled order, but they just didn't care. Avoid

Appointment booked for slot 4 to 8 pm. Rang to see if he could come at 12 declined due to being at work and he seemed really put out about this. Turned up and said he couldn't get his vehicle round into our drive "no way I'm going to" he said. He couldn't get the wheel off due to his obvious incompetence stating I would have to sign a disclaimer which regretfully I did due to tyres being bad enough to change. He snapped the wheel nut clean off and then proceeded to leave. He did offer to leave the tyres but I declined and I was reimbursed but I strongly feel he didn't want to do the job and as a consequence of this he knew the wheel nut would break.I rang them to put forward a complaint being told it was because my vehicle was a Jaguar and some cars we deal with " do this". At this time I was speaking with a lady who didn't divulge her name but she did say she would see if they could/ would reimburse me any further monies I might spend trying to get someone else to remove the wheel and put me on hold while she "went to find out" suffice to say she never came back. Appalling service, Appalling attitude , never had a problem before with this company accessing my property . Totally incompetent , lazy , disinterested operative. Will never use or recommend again. Do Not Use.

Booked online for a tyre be fitted the next day (Mon) Received a voicemail from a miserable sounding bloke saying that a few technicians had called in sick so they can’t fit my tyre! Judging by the other reviews they must have the most unhealthy staff working there, as they are constantly calling in sick 🙄 Rang up for a refund, can’t fault the lady on the phone as she was apologetic and very nice. I just pray that my refund goes through smoothly!

Had two tyres fitted Thursday on car 1 year old no marks on wheels now I have a huge lever mark damage on wheel. Now trying use ever excuse they can that they didn’t mark them. Haven’t moved car since it been done. Wouldn’t use again 😩

MY COMPLAINT CAME UP ON TRUSTPORT WHICH SEEMS TO BE ALL GOOD BUT MINE. WHICH MUST BE HALFORD RETAIL AND AUTO GARAGES WHICH I WOULD GIVE 5 STAR TO BASILDON AUTO CENTRE THANKS TOMMY WHO SORTED MY PROBLEM. OUT NEXT DAY. BUT STAY AWAY FROM TYRESONTHEDRIVE WHO DO NOT KNOW WHAT BATTERY IS THE FOR MY CAR ORDERED FOR.THE ONE FITTED SAID ON THE WEB, SAID NOT SUITABLE FOR MY FORD ALTHOUGH HE BROUGHT THE RIGHT ONE WITH HIM BUT DID NOT FIT IT I WONDER WHY .???? I have a good idea.
