My food never showed up. They gave me a refund but then 15 minutes after refunding my money they took five dollars out of my account for the delivery driver tip. Never returning.

Worst experience by ordering today for an order from Indian cave munich. Order never arrived and no response from restaurant and from Uber eats. I called Uber eats several times but they cancelled call. Such a worst experience and pathetic service. Atleast being responsible and reachable will be expected. Will never use the app and few of my friends had the same experience so can never trust food to be on time

I have never had an issue with getting my food, missing items etc. So the next day I was checking my bank account which I do periodically and noticed I was charged twice. So I disputed it through the app( a waste of time). So I called customer service and was given the runaround, but it eventually got fixed. Then a couple of days later they charged me for my food item minus the tip. Called them back and they claimed they didn't see that charge. So I called my bank to file a claim and within 24 hours it was refunded. Do better Uber eats.

I placed an order last night to have a pizza delivered. 2 hours and never showed. Called the pizza shop direct and had it delivered. 3 and 1/2 hours later I finally got something to eat. I won't try that again.

I was happy that I didn't need to travel to pick up the food but I was under the impression that I didn't have to pay a delivery fee if I spent over £15, but not only did I have to pay a delivery fee but I was charged a service fee of just under £3, which was added afterwards. I did not see the additional expenses at the time of placing the order. The app asked if I wanted to tip the driver but if they are charging a 10% service charge, that means I don't have a choice of whether I want to tip the driver. It also means, had I agreed to tip the driver, I would have been charged twice! It was my very first time of using Uber Eats. I knew nothing about the pin number I was supposed to give them and not could I find it! That wasted a lot of time. In the end (after about ten minutes he took a photo of the house number.

I ordered by mistake from a restaurant and 2 minutes later I cancelled !! I noticed that the full amount of the order was withdrawn from my account 27.9 cad !!!! I understand a cancellation fee but it makes no sense paying full for an order that I haven’t received ! Never using Uber eats again and deleting the app immediately ! This is robbery !!

I'm not going into detail, but Uber Eats steal and lie. Customer support for the drivers and customers is horrible, incompetent, and rude. They charge you extreme amounts for delivery. It is only convenient. It is by far one of the worst companies, not a worry in the world. They just want money. They will do whatever it takes. They don't care about anybody but themselves.

I ordered food. Majority of my food was missing. I reached out to Uber eats. Because I was not able to take a picture of the food missing ( but how if it’s missing) they would not refund me for the items. My food also was cold. They told me it was nothing that we’re willing to do help. I had to call my bank. There was no way I’m going to be charged for items I did not receive….

On Thursday, June 20,2024, I placed an order on Uber eats and somehow Uber eats pinned the wrong address. I did not realize that until the order was paid for. I instantly tried to change the address and the website would not allow me to do it and said that they would charge me to cancel the order and redo it. I then reached out to the Uber driver Ciarra through the Uber app messaging. In the message I stated that they had the wrong address. I input the correct address, and asked if it could be delivered to the correct address ? At first she never responded. Then I got a message from Uber stating that the driver was trying to contact me. So I text the driver and they said that they were here. So I look out my front door there was no one there. So then the driver tells me that she was at the incorrect address. I told her I sent her a message with the correct address and asked if she could come to that correct address. The driver stated that she had an ice cream delivery to do and if she could do that first she would then deliver my order. I said yes that would be perfectly fine. I even offered an extra $10 tip for her coming to the correct address off of the tip I already gave in the app. She stated yes she would do that. She also stated that she needed the p i n number for the order. So I gave it to her thinking nothing of it as this was my first time ordering from Uber eats I really was not aware of how everything worked. I came to find out that after the fact when you give the driver the pin number they enter it confirming the delivery. If I would have known that before I would not have given her the pin number. With that being said after almost an hour and I never received my food I tried reaching out to the driver but I was unable to message her any longer. So I then reached out to Uber eats. At first they said they could not deliver me a refund because the order was confirmed as being delivered. But when I explained to them how can the order have been delivered if I'm complaining that I did not receive my order. And that driver went to the wrong address. They've been stated that the delivery was pinned as delivered and they have confirmation of that. And I explained to them that if it was not at the address given to the driver then it was not delivered to me. So then after going a few rounds with someone through texting and support I was told that I would be giving a refund. A full refund, I also stated that I wanted the driver's tip removed. Because if she would have said she could not deliver to my address I would have told her just to take it back to the store and I would have kindly picked it up from the store, or had it picked up by another driver. So not only did the driver get a tip from me, she also kept the food, and Uber kept my money. I ended up going to where my food was supposedly delivered and the security there said yes someone was there and had attempted to deliver food but took the order back with them. If Uber thinks it is okay to keep almost $60 from a customer because their app pinned a wrong address, their driver not only kept the food and tip but lied about delivering the food. If they think that is okay and that is a way to do business they are sadly mistaken. And I will make a mountain out of a molehill and sue them! If my rating could be a minus one star it definitely would be! Uber eats you need to do better!

Uber eats steals from it’s drivers customers reduce the tip after the food is delivered so they lie upfront so somebody takes the order it’s actually considered stealing

I have never left a review in my life but Uber Eats has me so upset. First of all, it didn’t show me how much deliver or tax or anything is, then didn’t show me my total. I got a quesadilla from chipotle for 37$ I got robbed and I will NEVER order through them again! I’m so sick.

If I could give 0 or negative stars I would! Such a horrible service! I was sick so I ordered 2 items. The driver messaged me on the app that one item is unavailable. They also marked a X on it and clearly there was only one box instead of 2. They still charged me for both items and refused to refund for the item that I didn’t receive. I even took a picture immediately after the delivery was done! They still didn’t refund and just made an assessment that it’s not eligible. There is no customer service phone number and they refuse to escalate. The app doesn’t store messages from the drivers post delivery. This company should be sued for fraud charges

Beware driving for Uber delivering groceries or food. UBER allows customers 72 hrs to remove tips on groceries and an 1hr for food. Many customers will bait the driver to deliver, and remove the tip once the delivery is completed. HORRIBLE

UBER EATS stole my money UBER EATS stole from me. I placed a food order and paid over £60 for it. The delivery person went to the wrong address, clearly on purpose as this is obviously a scam, and said i had put in the wrong address (I hadn't - it's automated as my home address) and asked for the code so he could sort the order. I gave it to him as I thought he was checking the authenticity of the order. He then completely vanished and I never got the delivery and Uber refuses to refund the money saying that it was completed as I gave the code, despite there being a whole conversation between me and the driver on my account messages and the fact that I never received the order. Total criminals. AWFUL customer services. Will never use again. Date of experience: 19 June 2024

First and worst experience. Order placed, estimated delivery got 25 mnts later, driver does not respond, then another driver got assigned. Support team refused to cancel the order. The chat agent just quit the conversation at a sudden and raised a ticket to the support team with min 6 hrs response time. I do never recommend!

Uber eats are thieves......I ordered a chicken burger and fries ....Uber venue charged 22.19 for the item ....the restaurant only charge 19.09 for the same burger ....Uber is raising the restaurant prices on there menu ..... almost4.00 diffence in price .....bunch of ###$##@ thieves.....pics showing price diffence
