Just like other customers... lm absolutely livid with this company. They’ve got a service called friendly, which doesn’t actually tell you how much you owe like their emergency does so! you know how much you’re using... what!!!!! They do now is just add the friendly on even when you haven’t used your emergency. Scammers and Blaggers. Do not go with them...... you’ll be making a great mistake. Don't pick up the phone always and machine talking and still waiting to switch my gas still only put my electric on but no gas, had no gas in the winter n house was freezing and still by the days nothing back scams...

I kept getting texts asking me to contact Utilita billing dept, so I did. Utilita billing department, who had no comprehension of what I was telling them, (most likely because english is not their first language and most likely because they are trained only to follow a script) have now chosen to back-alter my account start reading to falsify my electricity account to fit their billing system, meaning that I owe Utilita money, which I don't. Surely this is illegal. So far, customer services have been kind, polite and helpful but obviously can't change my reading back. It is now up to me to prove I'm not lying !! which luckily I can do because I have paper bills from them and from my previous supplier. And all because Utilita ignored the opening reading I gave them and decided to estimate it way higher. It is an unoccupied property. My current reading is actually less than the opening one they invented for me. This happened on the first day of the March lockdown and I was unable to contact customer services. They gave this false reading to my previous supplier who billed me accordingly. I paid them in order to close my account. They now tell me that my previous supplier - Ebico Robin Hood Energy - who have since ceased trading - will have to repay me. I cant see that happening!!! What an ongoing total waste of my time.

This is the worst rip off company I've ever experienced. Poor customer services, very high rates, increase tariffs and won't let you switch over to other providers. I DONT recommend this company at all. I tried to put the same review in TRUSPILOT but, its showing as ''Unexpected internal server error. We apologize'' Looks like they don't want to get genuine negative reviews.

UTILITA is the worst rip off company I've ever experienced. Poor customer services, very high rates, increase tariffs and won't let you switch over to other providers. I DONT recommend this company. I tried to put a review on Trustpilot but its not letting me put a review- Its showing as ''unexpected internal server error'' because they might not like to pass on genuine negative reviews.

First day of being with utilita energy made a mistake in topping up tried to ring them on line chat sent emails all day no response.

An agent came over talking about no standing charges and how i can save £100 a year by avoiding around 50p of standing charges a day(Elec. and Gas). Did the switch, noticed within a week that the electricity cost has grown. The agent wasn't lying, they dont have standing charges, they have first rates which the electricity charge itself is 48p. Tricksters. Trying to do a switch for the last two month but there was several errors along the way and unfortunately i still have an account with Utilita, paying way more than i should.

Moved into property in 2019 and was ok for a while after changing account to my name, i used to spend £40 a month on my gas and electric now that doesnt last 3 weeks let alone 4, When i have called to complain i get snotty attitude, lies and different versions of the same thing. I swapped to bulb in november the day after i topped up my meter and since then i have tried to get my money back which they are refusing to do. Then yesterday (15/12) they take my supply back without concent so i spent 1+ hours on phone trying to sort it out, i am on emergancy cred atm with utilita as im refusing to loose any more money to them as im hoping to go back to the company they swapped me from yesterday and i was told i was talking to a robot for over an hour. I record all my calls so luckily i have proof of what was said. AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE THEY ARE VILE RUDE CREATURES WHO ARE JUST OUT TO STEAL FROM YOU WITH THEIR OVER RATE PRICES

Have had problems with this company from day one. I took over the tenancy of a property which was supplied by Utilita for both Gas and Electricity. I eventually managed to to talk to someone who changed the details on the account into my name and told me I would receive a welcome pack from them with all the details of the account. This never happened. I have continually telephoned to find out what was happening and eventually got the Account number from one of their representatives. I received a bill from them but had to phone again as when I went to pay this it was higher than expected but I paid it. Turned out it included a second month amount. Oh and this was only for Electricity. I asked when I would receive a Gas bill to be told they didn't supply me with gas. On checking the rep found the readings for both gas and electricity. Now they are investigating why this was not added on. Today I received a bill for November and luckily noticed the total is what I have already paid when I went on to pay the first bill. I can no longer access my account as it asks me to link it up to view payments etc. When I try to do this it tells me my details do not match up. This company is a disgrace and I have already moved away from them after being in the property a few months. New company have been fantastic with everything in place and account set up with no problem at all. Utilita may sound like they offer a good deal but with the problems they have caused for me, I would never go near them again.

For yrs I have never been able to top up gas and it takes days for them to put if back into my account, I'm on benefits through no fault of my own I'm disabled, housebound, have a daughter at school and for the last 3 yrs they have said I don't qualify for the winter payment which is unlawful!... I'm changing suppliers now!!!

A sales rep knocked at my door today promising all sorts of cheap energy and even 140 credit for the winter due to me being on universal credit due to corona. I told her to knock back a couple of hours later as I wanted to read some unbiased reviews and low and behold she never knocked! I wonder why. I am glad I found this page.

If i could give this company no star i would they ripped us off with there smart meter for them £200 on electric for a month and £120 gas a month when we was on edf we was paying £80 electic and gas £40 a month so you can see how the company works there being looked into by ofgem

Avoid like the plague, I was only with them for 2 weeks after being transferred to them when Eversmart went bust. Over a year they keep sending me bills with different readings despite me giving them the opening and closing meter reads and having a £160 credit from Eversmart. Phone calls E mails they still fail to explain their workings and are hopeless!

Absolutely appalling just moved to utilita topped up £10 ran my hot tap took £1 off meter put heating on for 10 minutes to check what happend and used £1.30.basically £10 was gone in 4 hours i have rang them 8 times to be told they couldn't hear me and ring back Monday when my app should be working which by the way at this point they said would take 48 hours!emailed and complained 5 times no response..totally scam

Terrible customer service and unbelievably hard to get through to Customer service! Would not recommend this energy supplier whatsoever go with a different supplier. Don’t waste ya time with these fools

Utilita is totally absent. There is no way to speak with a human been all is done by recorded messages and I'm in an emergenzy and is impossible to reach anyone. I called 4 different number they all say the same think. A total froud. I wish I could just transfer to another company asap but I sign the agreement :(
