The worst company I have ever had to experience my gas cut off due to there meter completely shutting off for no reason took them 5 days and counting to come out with a fix or replacement, I will be leaving.

After 41 days of my life wasted on this company, 15-20 phone calls,10 hours plus of phone time I finally got my money owed back to me, but of course it’s not the £243 I was promised and received a text stating I would be receiving, it was only £198. Not one person in Utilita has even spoken the truth to me and good riddance to them. The only one good thing that has come out of this, is that my Daughter, disgusted at how I’ve been treated by them has moved to another supplier too. If this review stops someone else from joining Utilita, then I’ve done my job.

Spent 2 hours and couldn't speak to anyone or get anywhere with the live chat....the worst customer service I have ever experienced from an energy company. And we are letting agents and e deal with most. I was happy to continue with them supplying this property, not any more. The live chat directed me to a forum where people having issue's can discuss solutions for their problems. Joke

This company is a JOKE! 12 hours in the last 2 days of phone calls, to be rejected and cut off after 1.45 mins of discussing personal information (gdpr) x 6 in hope to get supply back to my property, which has been revoked through no fault of my own, but supplier issue. No electric for 40 hours as a vulnerable person!

Very bad provider, they are just robbing you. You pay for what we don’t. This company sells electricity and gas but they do not tell you how kilowatts you purchase, the stupid meter just shows money , same for the gas when purchasing gas, they should tell me how much cubic meter I purchased. But they do not tell you because they don’t want you to know. If you switch off electricity they still keep charging you, so be careful do not fall under their teeth

I was joyfully when trading with this company hoping and making sure my investment will bring a great profit, I started with a sum of $40,000 and was expecting a total profit of $100,000 which I can only withdraw unit my profits are complete I traded well and even pay more money for some necessary means, as time goes by, my profit was completed, and I was unable to withdraw my money, and my account was also blocked asking me to pay another ransom I was battling with them for months but I was still unable to make a withdraw, until I came across testimonies about how Mrs. Bruce Nora has been helping people in recovery there money back I didn't believe at first but I had to risk it , I got in contact with her and followed all necessary information, it happens that all my money was recovered in total both my profit I am very grateful to Mrs. Bruce Nora for helping me, if you had been a victim of scam get in contact with Mrs. Nora today: Email:: b__r__u__c__e__n__o__r__a__2__5__4__(__A__T__)__g__m__a__i__l__.___c__o__m. I am a pensioner and have been with Utilita for a while now.Recently I had a problem with my gas supply and meter and because of my disability found it difficult to get to my meter to top it up. After getting little satisfaction from their call centre i put in a complaint. I then received a call from their customer services who sorted out the problem. They were fantastic. I have no qualms in recommending Utilita to anyone. They are the cutting edge of energy suppliers. Thank You very much Utilita, you have made a pensioner very happy and relieved a lot of stress. Unfortunately I cannot remember the girls name who sorted everything out but should you be able to find out who this individual is then please pass on my gratitude. Keep up the good work and please don't change your ethos, superb company...

If I could give no stars I would. This company is a joke. I am due a refund and its gone pass the 14 day period. I rang on Thursday to be told first it's not been processed then it has been after I got angry on phone with them. I said if this was other way round you soon take it out my account. It take you 3 days to take a payment out of my bank why do I have to wait 2 weeks and now your saying i have to wait another 14 days for my refund. I rang today and still not been sent and they refused to do a fasttrack payment. I said your taking the mick now I really need that money back. Other than the refund its the lies they tell you

I have had issues since May with not being able to top up first with electric then once the new meters were installed I could not top up on gas.i have emphysema so I have to stay warm and not being able to put my heating on because I had to save what credit I had for showers was awful. After months of going back and forth I spoke to a lovely lady today called Brenda Njagi and she was wonderful, Brenda listen to all my concerns and when we got cut off she rang me back and then within half an hour fixed the issue and made sure I had enough credit to have my heating on ,thank you very much Brenda! Fantastic customer service 👏 👌

This company seems to have gone into the daylight robbery buisiness.I go into hospital with my gas supply running and I come out with no gas supply.Thanks for nothing.I have no heating or hot water and I am disabled.

Been on the phone over an hour with no sign of anyone picking up, had someone come to the door and asked me what energy company I was with and said that he's send some info about utilita for me to look at, gave him phone number, email and name for him to send the info, got an email saying I'd been signed up to switch over to them! Did not ask for that, just wanted the info. Been on the phone to them for an hour to ask them not to switch me over and I still haven't had anyone answer and it's not looking like anyone will.

The worst utility company I have ever dealt with. Live chat is completely pointless, they just give you a phone number that you call, wait on hold for an hour, and then they cut you off. Never respond to emails. They rejected a requested supplier switch a number of times but couldn't provide me with a reason so we're stuck with them. Spectacularly bad customer service. I would strongly recommend you go with someone else.

I am a disabled adult who have been with utilita for years and never had problem until now. As I'm disabled I used to receive a warm home discount which discontinued after they replaced their box when it nearly caused a fire with no fault of my own. Seven months later I received a letter stating that I owe £342.27 and that I had made an agreed payment date which I never. The only letter I received was 7 months later. They even added £10 service charge to the existing payment. They requested me to pay the £342.27 to avoid further action. This was the only letter I received since the incident. So as well as not continuing with the warm home discount resulting in me paying full electric and gas They caused me significant stress as a result of the whole situation. When I phoned to complain I was told by the customer service that they did not want to talk to me and left it all to the poor customer service lady who I literally felt for in the end. I am currently looking for a new provider

Awful called to do a change of address and keep with the company got cut off Then called to just cancel previous property then after 15 minuites cut of Called the complaints team and it didn’t exist just keeps being put back in the loop

The worst company I have ever come across! Do NOT use them. I’ve moved into a flat after being homeless for a month. I’ve finally got a roof over my head but have no gas because it’s with utilita and they won’t let me switch to someone else. No one answers the phone, email, messenger or live chat. I’m day 6 without hot water or heating. I fled war in Ukraine and have had the worst time of my life and this company are not helping. I am miserable and there is no one who can help me. Please don’t ever think about joining utilita

Top up card failed. Took almost an hour to respond to live chat then told me they can't help until next week.
