Scam and creepy joke.From 2 weeks new smart meter not working, payments for top up not working. I'm calling every day, waiting sometimes 2 hours somebody pick up.Then another 2 hours I'm explaining my problems.They telling me all is Ok.Not ok!!! I'm trying to top up few times per day by app, website,top up line,pay points and still NOT WORKING!!! I need to ask for another credit... 3 times I was off supply.After 12h shift, extremely tired,I was calling 4 hours in the middle of the night, almost crying for another 15 pounds... Asking for service,nobody coming.My calling very often is cutting.Ignoring. I'm reporting it to solicitor.

Absolutely disgusting, waited 3 years for a smart meter installation , Only to be told they do not have the required parts, I also got told to get InTouch with my council/housings officer as I have an eco duel electric meter, the electrician came out and said they are pulling a fast one.. I called utilita today and asked for a supervisor/manager to speak to only to be told I will get a call back.... I also got told they didn't receive an email from me with a picture of my gas meter reading so asked for a date, time and both emails which one was mine and obviously there's, to then be put on hold she obviously found the email in the end, customer service is horrendous, and to be waiting for as long as I have is not exactly professional,

⛔️STAY CLEAR ⛔️ LONG WAITS ON PHONE THEN PASS U ABOUT TO OTHERS THAT CANT HELP THEY HAVE PUT UP MY TARRIFF AGAIN NO EXPLANATION FROM THEM JUST WANT MORE CASH AND MAKING PEOPLE POORER MAKING BILLIONS OF POUNDS AND JUST KEEP ROBBING THE PAYING CUSTOMER

Well nearly 2months on since my last damming review & still no smart meter fitted🤨Told i was a priority after waiting over a year as they have no smart meters lol yet i read bad reviews of customers who have recently had smart meters fitted from utilita,I mean how long have they been waiting 2yrs🤦‍♂️

Totally useless! All I wanted was a smart meter to be able to top up from home. There have been issues from the start of my supply back in 2020 - issues with Economy 7 and storage heaters being constantly on - this forced them to install a smart meter. The meter failing in Jan 2022, temp fix in Apr but I have to contact them to get my tariff changed back; tariff changed back and advised will take up to 14 days to apply. I’m now receiving messages to say that meter has run out of credit and to top up but message also says “please don’t rely on accuracy of our notification”. Concerned that my supply would switch off, I go to App to top up: “whoops, something went wrong”???! Wish I’d never bothered, would rather go out in the cold and wet to find a working PayPoint facility with my previous supplier! I like to think I am quite savvy but if I am struggling, imagine a vulnerable person trying to work through this confusion. 😡 If only there was a “no stars” option.

Awful company.. all the engineers were in a meeting was they excuse for not turning up when THEY arranged.. then appparantly I was OUT .. Nope! Got the footage to prove he didn't come to the door... LIES LIES LIES

Honestly the worst company I’ve ever dealt with in my entire life. Unfortunately they supplied the property I moved into in Dec 2020 and I haven’t been able to get rid of them since. Not only did they have all of the incorrect meter numbers for each of the properties, they then proceeded to put my details against 3+ properties in the block of flats. Their customer service team are completely inept. 14 months later and I am still receiving bills and debt collection letters for properties I don’t live in and never have. I have made complaints, spent 20+ hours on hold and speaking to agents who explain they’ve “resolved” the error, only to receive more bills in the following months. I have been non stop harassed by this company and the issue is still not resolved. They should be prosecuted.

I had smart meters installed on the 23rd of March. Utilita have owed me £67.30 since then. Very, very poor customer service,,simply not good enough!!!

I have just submitted a review off the fantastic customer service I received from a Mr Matt Nc(first initials off surname) I mistakenly clicked just 1 star thinking it was 5. Anyhow I wish to correct my mistake. To confirm I give Mr Matt Nc 5 out off 5 stars!!...Yours Ms Happy customer!! 😊

Required some financial assistance with my electricity meter so called them for assistance I am diabetic and have 3 young children at home so therefore I'm on the priority register!! Called them and they point blank refused to help in any way all I needed was for them to give me a little leway with my electricity until the day after when I got paid!! I don't see the point of having a priority register if you aren't going to help those most vulnerable in their hour of need!! Customer service also very shocking and the attitude of some representatives needs looking into absolutely disgusted with Utilita!!

No help at all 2 hrs on hold to speak to someone to be cut off. The day the gas charges went up was the day that I could no longer see how much gas I was using ormuch I have left on my meter. I now have to climb into a cupboard with a broken leg and check the vend code has registered tried to get in touch with them to be basically told not out problem you have to deal with it. Very poor customer service

IF YOU ARE CONSIDERING JOINING THIS COMPANY PLEASE PLEASE READ THIS. UPON JOINING I HAD TO DEAL WITH A VERY PRESSURIZING DOOR KNOCKER WHO WOULDN'T TAKE NO FOR A ANSWER. MID COVID TIMES TOO. I JOINED THEN RECIEVED A BILL EVEN THOUGH I AM ON PRE PAID, I RANG AND THEY SAID IT WAS A ERROR AND TO IGNORE... ALARM BELLS RANG. THEY PROMISED A SMART METER ITS BEEN OVER A YEAR STILL NO METER MY BATTERY WENT IN THE METER AND THEY SWAPPED THE WHOLE UNIT I HAVE TO ENTER 60 DIGIT CODES INTO A TINY KEYPAD ON A TINY DISPLAY TODAY I WAS LOCKED OUT OF MY METER 3 PLUS HOURS AND NUMEROUS PHONE CALLS AND NOTHING, THEY HUNG UP. THE ONLY WAY I CAN MAKE CONTACT IS THROUGH FACEBOOK IN WHICH THEY BLOCKED ME ON. THEY SAID THE METER WOULD BE ON AFTER 1 HOUR 4 HOURS LATER STILL NO DISPLAY. THEY ARE USELESS THIS SERVICE IS A SCAM DO NOT JOIN BY ANYMEANS!!!!

Absolutely disgusting, the rate you charge us beyond criminal, aways throwing money into the meters £10-£20 every 3/4 day's...!!!! Your bleeding criminal's, country is on it rear and your over charging... Fuking shameful

My 92 year old mother in law switched to this disgrace of a company, yeah the sales hype is good! Nothing but trouble, billing errors, charges for gas and electric not used, meter issues and on and on. Apparently for an entire year she never used or was charged for any gas???? so they set up a catch up plan, right I don't think so. Probably a bad time to switch, but don't trust a single thing they say or do. Nil communication, nil customer service this company needs closing down, now! Oh and if anyone from Utilita reads these comments I will take you to court if necessary ok .. just so there's no misunderstanding.

The worst scammers ever on planet earth. Right now I have been waiting for them to respond to my call for the past 1hr 45 minutes. They lied that they would be coming to replace the pay as you go meter with a smart meter in January. On the 5th Jan 2022, they postponed the appointment to 11 Jan of which they did not turn up only to confirm a fake appointment of which the engineer turned up to say the meter replacement that he had brought was not compatible. Then one pathetic £30 check was sent as some form of compensation for all the over £2500 per year that this nightmare of a company from hell rips me off every year. Today 25/04/22. I am still waiting for these unethical liars to change their rip off meter. Are you guys for real?

Make no mistake, this is the worst company I have ever dealt with! They changed the meter without speaking to the landlord, come into the property illegally when nobody is home, promise to transfer the old credit then pretend it was £0, take money for the new meter and then fail to put that money ONTO the meter!!!!!! They have taken hundreds of pounds!!! Their help service takes 90 minutes to get a conversation and then they hang up during transfer! MULTIPLE TIMES!!!!!!!! I wouldn't wish these people on my worst enemy!!!

I feel scammed by Utilita they are saying I use £6 a day on gas when am not in the house half the time completely ripped my eyes out left with no money for food
