“I was happy with Vertoe in Detroit.They kept my left luggage with a minimum of hassles.I was able to enjoy Detroit's fine architecture(Guardian.Penobsct,Rencenter Buildings)and Riverwalk Without schlepping my luggage among the Motor City.”

“Easy booking through Vertoe's website with a fast confirmation email. The storage I chose is located in a small shoe repair shop, at ground level, very close to Grand Central Terminal. Superfast check-in and check-out (too fast). Upon check-in luggage is dropped and remains in the client area of the store (10 ft x 10 ft) together with those from other clients. The gentleman who received them only asked me if I had a reservation but never bothered to check it, nor did he tag my bags or give a receipt for them. Upon check-out, the procedure was similar: just a couple of questions like "did you have a booking?" and "which are your bags?" without any verification on their side. They just told me to take my bags. I could have perfectly taken the luggage from someone else. While I understand that this is unlikely and there seem to be two people present at all times in this very small store, their nonchalant attitude and procedure present some concern regarding the safety of the luggage. This is a point that could easily be improved with a simple tagging system. Having said that, I left one locked suitcase and an unlocked backpack for the full day, and had no problem at all with the service. Paid the agreed flat per piece amount.”

“Worked well. There's no real security. You have to trust the shop/location owner/manager/worker to store your bags safely. But, we did it and collected our belongings when we were done.”

“The storing lugage of the Podshare was good ,to find it not really easy,just note it s A on the building in the street. Walking distance from Union Station is 18 mn”

“Worked out very well. We were able to leave our luggage for the day and enjoy the city before our flight. The storage location was a gym. The folks there were very friendly and helpful. My only recommendation would be to have some sort of signage on the outside of the building indicating Vertoe. It's a bit confusing to just see a gym door for the address listed.”

“It was awesome that this is an option for storing luggage when you have several hours before your flight! I docked a star only because, the location I used did not really double check that it was *my* luggage I was taking away, there was no barcode scanning, it was just the honor system. The luggage was stored out in the open also as opposed to behind a counter. Worked great for me, but I could see criminals stealing luggage once word gets out if the system is not tightened up.”

“When the train station didn't offer storage last minute due to staffing, I was left scrambling for a place to put my backpack. I thought I'd lose everything since Soldier Field doesn't allow backpacks. Found Vertoe online. I was nervous at first since I hadn't heard of them, but it turned out great. It was simple to set up a reservation and I like that they didn't require an extensive profile be set up, since I was short on time. They did lose a water bottle that was in an open top pouch on the bag. But it was cheap and I should have placed it securely inside the bag ahead of time. I definitely recommend Vertoe.”

“Service was provided by the contract facility very courteously, if not as described by vertoe (eg, no luggage security clip, no image taken, no digital pick up assurance, just my first name handwritten on a slip of paper). My chosen location was extremely convenient. Service is also super-duper affordable, so I support your model and will absolutely use again. Suggest you work more closely with contract facilities however to adhere with advertised safety concepts. Mahalo!”

“New to Vertoe. It worked just as desicribed. We left our bags for a few hours at a dry cleaners while we awaited our accommodations which had a 3 Pm check in. Very nice service, convenient and reasonable.”

“I went to assigned store and was told to leave my bag behind a curtained area that already had other luggage. But was not given the bag seal/tags. When I requested them for some extra peace of mind (first time using the service), I was given a big argument from the shopkeeper that it wasn’t necessary. It was very off putting since it’s detailed in the confirmation email as standard practice. He eventually gave me the tags but only after making me feel bad for wanting them. He even said if I don’t feel comfortable without the tags to not even leave my bag there. Not very reassuring when I was going to an event at TD Garden and couldn’t bring my bag. If he hadn’t already made me late for the game with the whole tag debate I would have cancelled and tried to find somewhere else. Everything was fine when I went back after the game, bag was in same area with tags. So I appreciate the Vertoe service but this shopkeeper was very off putting and did not instill very much confidence in the service. I was very nervous to leave my bag there.”

“I think this is a great service. You just need to be aware of the opening and closing hours of the location. I booked not knowing that we could not access the location after 9 pm when we needed access to our luggage so we could not use the service. I am asking for a refund.”

“This is a cobbler shop and we left our five bags there all day while we went around the city. Everything was exactly as we left it, and both the drop off and pick up were easy.”
