Feel totally let down by Vinted. Have bought an item of clothing, which was completely miss advertised. Received something at the wrong size, so totally unusable. I’m now responsible for the costs and the inconvenience of sending it back. Vinted just sent me automated messages and can’t even be bothered to contact me in person. Last time I use Vinted.

After ordering a jacket from one of the sellers on the platform, I was completely shocked by what I received. The seller advertised the jacket as new, but as soon as I opened the package, I noticed multiple stains, marks, and other signs of wear on it. I approached the support team and opened a dispute on this matter, expecting a response within 48 hours. They asked me for more photos and gave me 24 hours to provide them. However, right after that, I received a second message saying they closed my claim due to a lack of response, even though I received both messages at the same time and planned to respond as soon as possible. It felt like the transaction was a complete scam. Now, the funds have been released to the seller, and they say they can’t do anything about it. It appears to be complete ignorance from the support team and a desire to close as many disputes as possible without adhering to the Terms and Conditions users accepted. I cannot recommend buying or selling anything on Vinted now, as it seems like an unreliable intermediary between the parties of the trade.

My account was blocked. Apparently some of my items were ‘automatically detected’ as counterfeit. This was not true. Customer service terrible, the matter wasn’t looked into, and they have told me my account is now permanently blocked. I have been using Vinted a long time and have excellent feedback. I have received the worst customer service, completely impersonal and it seems the norm to block loyal members for reasons that just aren’t true. This is no way to treat customers, especially those who are making you a fortune by selling their own items!

Vinted UK do not get involved in a dispute created by their own so called rules. Lack of responsibility for their website, no ZOOM facility for the pictures advertised. They reply to your help or claim with a robot answer that do not answer your question. You Are on your own , sorting out your dispute between seller and buyer. Very Easy money Vinted, LACK OF CARE FOR THEIR CLIENTS. What goes up will goes down.

TERRIBLE PLATFORM TO BUY AND SELL CLOTHES. I LISTED A 100% GENUINE GUCCI JACKET AND THEY BLOCKED MY ACCOUNT SAYING IT MAY BE FRAUDULENT. SO THEY STOP YOU FROM LISTING AND BUYING AND THEIR RESPONSE TO YOUR MESSAGES IS APPAULING. I AM ABSOLUTELY FURIOUS AS THEY DO NOT CARE. THIS PLATFORM SHOULD BE BANNED BY TRADING STANDARDS. PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS PALTFORM THEY ARE A DISGRACE.

Unable to List branded Items… Yet again Vinted have accused me of uploading prohibited home items or used cosmetics. I tried to list a brand new Dior Sauvage in its box. Not opened and somehow their ridiculous Checking system could see through the box and determined that it was used!! LOL. So was never uploaded and deleted by them. Also a Dior lipstick case brand new which upon ‘checking’ got flagged up as a prohibited home item. Absolutely shambolic and ridiculous. There is no words to describe how unsatisfied I am with Vinted and their drastically flawed checking system they use. VINTED ARE ONLY GOOD FOR REMOVING ITEMS, ACCUSING YOU FOR SELLING COUNTERFEIT, THREATENING BEHAVIOUR AND BLOCKING USERS. Which btw I have personally been blocked 4 times in total for false accusations so far which everytime has been overturned with NO apology. I HOPE VINTED GET BANNED IN THE UK. I have also reported numerous counterfeit items and clear scammers which I get a message back to say they haven’t broken any rules. This is why people are getting scammed daily on this app. I urge noone to bother with buying or selling on here cause these clowns do not deserve 1 penny they earn in the interest from your hard earned money. I am selling elsewhere now.

The worst customer service ever! Started using them around a month ago. First transaction went very well. After that, the next transaction was blocked, because MangoPay requested some proof of ID and address. It was done by myself, twice. So far, account is still blocked, £123 pounds are stuck on their balance.

Received a pair of baggy 33 inch long ladies jeans but they were sold as straight regular length so asked to return the item as not as described. Seller refused so l contacted Vinted who gave me a man to deal with womens sizing. I included the pictures of these massive trousers to long and big for my husband but he said tag says its correct but the tag had NOTHING ON IT BUT barcode. The Customer service team are idiots.

My other half has an account with vinted, she sent a hat which was packaged really well, as stated by the buyer in her claim report, but unfortunately during its time it spent with the carrier, THAT VINTED PROVIDE, it was a little bent on some of the edges. I would not class this as damaged as it can be easily reshaped. You guys then decided that the item wasn't packed well enough so issued the buyer a full refund and they get to keep the item!! This has completely boggled my mind that the seller has no protection. As a seller, you can spend all the time in the world packaging it nicely and safely, but if the carrier abuses the parcel, as many of them do, and the buyer receives an "out of shape/damaged" item, then the seller then loses out on their item and money. This platform is to make money isn't it?! or is it a charity?! I used to think Vinted was a pretty bulletproof platform but I think I've just realised it has a huge flaw. What protection does the seller have from using your carriers? The buyer pays for the carriage so is it up to them to claim for their money back and return the item or is it up to vinted to take some responsibility to check that 1. the seller has made a reasonable effort to package the item well. 2. That the buyer has collected it in a timely fashion and hasn't damaged it upon Collection. If yes is the answer to both of these then there's only one part of the process left to check, the carrier. I for one will not be listing anymore items on this platform after witnessing what's happened to my partner as now I know I can spend all day packaging my item well, only for it to be mishandled during transit and as a result I may never see that item or my money again.

Scammers and as other people commented they going downhill. The buyer protection is a joke, no matter what happens they do not care. Whoever is working there in customer service has no brain, they don’t even replying to the problem just coping and paste the same template messages. I bought an item which says new without tags as described , it has arrived very well worn. The seller accepted my return but want me to pay shipping cost and I am asking why !? If the description was accurate I wouldn’t buy this item. Contacted resolution centre, they copied and paste ready made message that I agreed buying the product to t&c, laughable. Yes I do agreed but not to purchase used item but new. Apparently you cannot sale used items and describe them as new. So why their T&C only working one way !?!

Beyond dire, awful procedures, customer services refuse to help in any way and won't budge on anything. Parcel was lost by courier, courier confirmed this to vinted but vinted still refused to provide a refund until I wait 15 working days despite clear evidence that the parcel will not and cannot reach me. This also means that once 15 days is up I have two days to raise this issue again to get a refund or the seller will be paid in full, this has a lot of room for error and misuse. I also realised that this loophole is related to a scam that I have unfortunately fallen into buying an expensive Xbox console from a seller with no feedback, I'm unsure what they have sent but it's mysteriously gone missing. Personally I think vinted have identified this scam and halted the parcel but will not acknowledge it, I've even pointed out the numerous listings that are clearly identical scams and they still refuse to acknowledge it. Vinted refuse to connect me to a manager, will not acknowledge that I've made a complaint and also ignore all of my questions and complaint points bringing into question their policies and procedures that arnt fit for purpose. Even when I questioned why they are ignoring my concerns they just repeat the same rubbish about waiting 15 working days.

God awful platform if you're a buyer. My parcel has gone awol on tracking, it was posted on the 6th Feb and have to wait until the 27th to get a refund, which will then take 5-7 working days so that's 27 days before I get MY money back! Shocks me when people say the platform puts buyers first. Multiple scammer accounts, waiting weeks upon weeks to get a refund. Evri as we know are a joke,which is one of the delivery services they use. Not to mention havin g to deal with all the drama with reviews and snarky sellers. It's not worth the trouble for me. Gave it a year and I'm deleting the app. Just be aware, if your package(s) go missing it will be up to you to jump through ridiculous hoops to get your funds back.

I sold a pair of trainers on Vinted and posted it through InPost (like I normally do). The trainers were never sent to the buyer and were 'sent back to me' however I never received them back. Vinted told me to wait 8 more days and then they would compensate me the £30 that I have lost. I waited the 8 days and was told by Mariam that although they previously told me they would compensate me, it's not their problem and they will not be offering me a refund or paying me for the loss of the item and that this was their 'final decision'. Absolutely appalling, unprofessional and extremely disappointing behaviour. I even sent the print screen of the conversation with Vinted only last week confirming they would offer me the refund after 8 days. Disgusting customer service. I won't be selling on Vinted and I will be spreading the word that this is how they deal with people. Awful company!!

Avoid Vinted! There is something seriously wring with Vinted, I posted my first item... a blouse from M&S and they permanently banned me within the hour and wouldn't tell me why! They were very rude in their limited communications (which were all cut & paste). Do not waste your time with them.

Vinted is a great platform for buying and selling. When it's good it's great. But the aggressive nature of buyers making low ball offers are beyond a joke. There is no option for turning offers off or setting the lowest offer you'd be willing to accept. Customers forever moaning about shipping costs and Vinted do not favour Royal Mail. A five day window to ship, a five window to mark as received. If a buyer fails to mark received it takes up to 4 weeks to get paid. It's just not worth the hassle. Don't even get me started on receiving items packed in carrier bags.

If I could give less than a star I would. I sold an item on Vinted, they sent me a label, which I used and had a receipt. Long story short it never registered as sent because they gave me an invalid label. They won’t refund me for the Money I’ve lost by the item not getting where it should and I don’t have the item to resell. I’ve emailed their support and their legal team and they just go round and round in circles and don’t read the emails. I have the Evri receipt which is all I could have as proof.

Be careful!! Vinted are ridiculously strict and OTT with their rules they’re very quick to remove items and hand out bans! Silly me made a second account due to my first account being unfairly suspended and now I’m permanently banned for life! I tried to email vinted to explain and all you get back is “our decision is final” bs. I’m a genuine seller/buyer, sold loads and have 5* reviews. I’ve never had an issue and yet somehow I’m now banned from vinted? Completely unfair treatment and completely over the top when there are genuine scammers and misusers that get over looked! I also wanna warn you that people I know have had issues with not receiving payments, vinted siding with buyers who clearly are scamming and vinted refusing to delete stored data. Once you’re banned that’s it they ban everything from your IP address, bank details, moblie number, device everything so making a new account is basically impossible. Be careful!

DO NO USE VINTED I advertised an authentic bag on the site. After 32 mins I was offered the full asking price. They then sent me a "how to receive funds" notification. It asked for my bank details, which I happy gave. It stated that my details were incorrect and I should go on "chat" which I did. I was informed that they required my credit/debit card details with my PIN. I refused and stated that I only give my PIN when purchasing an item not selling one. They said that they would only require my PIN once and also needed to know how much money I had in the account. Obviously I told them in not uncertain terms that I was NOT an idiot and to BOG OFF PLEASE BE VERY AWARE!!!!!!

What an awful company, stay away for your own good. I’ve been actively buying and selling on vinted since 2021, with 300+ positive feedback, not a single issue with buyers or sellers. And they just blocked me over a listing that “goes against their rules” although it doesn’t, other people are selling same items, yet their bots targeted mine. All robotic replies seem just useless, not a single reasonable human to talk to. Waste of time.
