Whilst on a Mediterranean cruise recently I receive many texts always when aboard telling me there were no roaming charges. They then cut off my phone as my bill was higher than usual. In 20+ years I have never owed a penny to vodaphone. They reinstated my phone on my return but refused to alter the bill. Disgraceful. Incidentally my husband who is also with this company as with me - he received a normal bill.

Oh, where do I even start... - Started off with an employee phoning me and offered me a £25 a month, 25GB and Netflix or Spotify included deal. I initially accepted the offer. - A week later, I had second thoughts and then I phoned to cancel that new contract and stick with the original £20 a month deal. Adviser said she completed that request and all was fine. - Later, I check my account and my request had not been met. - I speak with the online chat advisers and they assure me that on my account, they see that I still have the £20 contract. - I then receive an email which breaks down my new contract, to my surprise, I shouldn’t have received this email. - Fed up by this point, I an online adviser to solve this issue, she amends the contract and then I proceed to show my disappointment of the entire service and how long I had spent on chasing them up to correct an issue and problem that Vodafone was fully responsible for. The adviser then tells me that she can offer me £10 as credit for my troubles. I said that £10 isn’t simply enough for this whole problem caused and surely a customer like myself is more than a small £10 to a huge corporation like Vodafone. - She then rudely disconnects, and another adviser joins. The guy tells me that advisers are not allowed to offer more than £10 and that if they were to offer more, they’d put in a request which would risk their job. “We all have families to feed” was what he told me. I was totally shocked that I would be guilt tripped purely because I felt that I was due more than offered. Totally unprofessional and could not believe what I was hearing. I ask to speak to his manager and then he said that the manager was busy. I ask him to save the chat so the manager will be able to read the notes. - 2 hours later I finally get through to a manger who in all fairness does apologise for the way I was dealt however he can’t see any notes or previous conversation. So clearly, the previous guy didn’t save a single thing. By this point I was so disappointed and if I could have the option to end my contract, I would honestly have done. Manager tells me that I need to wait a further day or two for a customer service team member to phone me and sort out a solution. - The following day I check my Vodafone app and I see that October’s bill said £18.19 and that my next months bill was going to be - This brings me to a few days, when in the morning, I check my Vodafone app and this months bill said £18.19. I couldn't believe what I saw, they gave me a discount without my consent and knowledge. - Again, I get online to an adviser and then a manager who tell me that it is not Vodafone's fault for this issue. I said that it is highly important for the bill to show £20 purely for my proof of payment which had to be sent to mobiles.co.uk. I spent most of my morning back and forth with them and they would not accept that it was their fault and refused to amend my bill. What a emotionally draining experience, if you can don't even consider signing up with this company.

I had a very bad experience with Vodafone. I tried to contact them several times using phone number that they gave on the letter with no results. I was trying to cancel my contract with the 14 days as contract states but wasn't able to reach their phone line. Is this intended action? When I finally reached to them, I was advised that it is 2 days too late to cancel that contract. I was trying to solve my issue with Liam from Social Media Team. He suggested that I should use another channels to reach them. When I said that I was travelling and wasn't able to use different channels, I was advised that their phone line does not work for traveling people. This is a joke. Really, really don't recommend this company!

A shocking level of service, avoid at all cost.

After being a customer of Vodafone for over twenty seven years time after time I have a battle to renew my business account with Vodafone this time I have had it I am going to change to another provider the reason behind this is after talking to one member of staff they give you a deal and pass you on to sales team and the price goes up let alone the amount of time you get cut off and you have to ring them back then you get another price and then you find that you bill doubles in price one person tells you one thing and that goes tits up once again I feel that I am being ripped off I only won’t to get four new phones on two year contract the first price was £2,280.00 for two years then next price was £4,851.96 that’s without insurance for the same phone , I think that Vodafone should pull there finger out and get there act together not a happy customer it feels like I am banging my head against the wall how hard is it to help your customers Vodafone I rate Vodafone 1 out of 100 I will not recommend this company ever I recommend that you do the same as me go to EE carphone warehouse o2

Shocking customer service . Been with company years, advised to ring on specific date so I could transfer to sim only deal without any additional charges .... my live chat transcript supports this. Spoke to numerous people who are now insisting that pay £100 to move to sim only. No apologies , consideration etc ... appalling

Buyers beware! I got a phone contract with Vodafone, not considering other bad tales on the internet. I was told that they would add secure net subscription to my phone contract. I had no choice to opt out from it. They later sent me text that they will start charging for the subscription from a certain date but the link to opt out did not work. I had to get in touch with the Chat support who were helpful and opted me out. TL:DR. Subscription is added to you account which comes into effect after month 3. No way to opt out. They hope you forget and keep paying for the useless thing. Very difficult to opt out.

I have been with the company 5+ years never had any issues over that time but then also never asked for anything but just this week I have had so many issues with this company it is unreal just a few things of what they have done. they some how managed to cut my sim card off resulting in no phone for 24 hours having to take a day off of work to go to the Vodafone store to get a new sim card then after all that the original problem that started still hasn't been resolved 5 days later my watch is still not working but was meant to start working after just 2-6 hours. to add to this well I was on the phone I was offered a price for a contract but then after ringing back up later in the week the price they gave me was wrong. this is just a snippet of all that has happened if I was to list the hours I have spent on the phone to them being passed from pillar to post then I would be here forever and even more time wasted out of my life on this joke of a company........

It's getting worst everytime I call them, I did mention them about my delays and asked to help out, which they said fine. When I went to do it in the shop they did accept it and then I again had to call them, said will send a envelope within 3 to 5 days on 7 sept 2018 since then I called them 20th, 25th sept and then on 9th oct but nothing changed. They are getting more pricy and don't know what they are selling. Person has to struggles after getting a product from them. Not only that no other company has the phone blocked for more than 5 minutes once you put the sim and register it's only vodafone who has 30 days and the return ploicy is horrible. Not to mention the frustration when you have to hold the call to speak to the customer service team and then they come back to you saying it's your fault even after being a customer of tbe company since 2002.

Been a loyal customer with 3 family lines with them! On trying to reduce my monthly bill ended up being quoted £0.50 per line more! Gavin who just did not want to listen, just wanted to finish the call by reading the t&cs . Whoever would ring up to reduce their bill and end up more expensjve! Teach your staff to listen and value your customers. They may not always be yours.

Absolutely shocking service, after they laid on a £2500 bill on me they expected me to pay 600 a month, as a normal working citizen on minimum wage how can they expect me to pay that? I tried to explain I have other bills to pay they would NOT negotiate. I now have to pay £400 per month minimum towards this bill. I had no idea vodaphone stopped my free internet which made up this amount of money worth of debt, no emails was sent no letters was sent nothing to let me know. I am now in a very unstable situation with money because of vodaphone. AVOID AT ALL COSTS! DO NOT USE THESE! Customer service is shocking! How these get away with this is unbelievable
