Staff members especially in the morning the nightshift at Bracknell get treated like dirt by the managers every morning i’m surprised that they’ve got any nightshifts at all with the way they treat them.

Case Reference: 06786114 Chicken Breasts 100% out of date, beware their own products. Customer care couldnt care less about it, nor issue a refund for the products, Had better care at lower Tier marketstores.

Waitrose in Exeter started out okay. Unfortunately, they are now extremely below par. I have been discriminated against by members of their staff which is unacceptable - if you pay a premium price for your shopping, you expect customer service to also be of premium value I am also now bored with their products which hardly EVER change - the few new premium products that go into the Exeter store do not appear to last long. I contact Waitrose to ask why and they do not have an answer other than 'the product should be there' - and then their awful IT systems deem to ask me if 'the response was useful' - ummmmmm right. Further issues are ordering goods via their flowers/alcohol online site - they can't get their delivery dates correct, they throw in chocolates with mud from plants - then they cannot replace the chocolates covered in mud - apparently because the refund has to go to the gift purchaser - I cannot complain as a gift recipient. The staff at Exeter require training or dismissing - one or the other. The design of the Exeter store is atrocious - doors opposite each other, so the wind becoms like a hurricane when you walk in; no room to stop - they put everything in the doorways; papers, handhelds, customer service desk. All in all, there is now nothings that is pleasing about Waitrose other than I can but organic Kefir - they have already removed the organic raw sauerkraut - absolute rubbish

Spent over £100 at Waitrose @Aberystwyth and had to throw most of it away, the meat we bought was full of grease and when opened smelt terrible and was thrown away, the sausages were full of grease and tasted disgusting and their ready meals after one mouthful were binned as the taste was again not just bad but also disgusting. We are now going back to M&S.

I shop at waitrose because of their wide range of organic products. Their customer service in store is top notch and their products are of high quality. However, I've only had bad experience with their home delivery. I always choose not to receive my groceries in bags to protect the environment yet every time I get my purchase in single use plastic bags that are supposed to be banned. Most of the fruit and veg are still packed in single use plastic in store which is awful and it does put me off sometimes if I don't need the product that much.

Waitrose has always been my supermarket of choice, and their customer service has always been spot-on in my experience, but I'm writing this review because they went above-and-beyond in response to a complaint. I ordered four food items which were advertised at a weight around 7.5% larger than the actual weight stated on the packaging; this was a new item so I understood this to be an incorrect listing. I emailed Waitrose customer service regarding this, expecting at most a refund for the items, which were worth around £10. Instead, Waitrose sent me a gift card for £24. I didn't need to hassle them for this; I simply sent one email to customer service and received the gift card through mail a few days later. I've been shopping with Waitrose for most of the last decade. My first experience with Waitrose was when I moved to Ipswich for a couple of years, and spent some time shopping at both the little Waitrose in the town centre, and the larger out-of-town Waitrose, before moving back up north and using predominantly online shopping. On the rare occasion that there is a mistake with my order, I have been refunded without question. When an item isn't available within the correct use-by date, it is given for free as a reduced item. If you are a Waitrose member, you receive vouchers worth a significant amount (I currently hold vouchers worth £18 off of a £100 order). The majority of items are priced the same as other supermarkets, so these savings aren't just money off of overpriced goods, they're real. Finally, as Waitrose is part of an employee-owned cooperative, there is some satisfaction in knowing that the people you deal with have a genuine stake in providing you a good service, and that your money is going 100% towards the people who work for the company.

Waitrose and John Lewis 'Partners' attitude towards customers appear to be deterioating. Arrogance rather than service seems to be the experience more and more.

Totally appalled by the new make up on Waitrose Belgravia They left very little space for milk, fruit, and half of the store is now packed with wine, and other alcohol. Also for a small convenient local shop, Sushi Bar tneyinstalled is a really not great idea. The moment you enter the store, you get hit by dreadful smells of raw fish , just next to tne bread counter.

Usual queues at the tills in Uckfield branch 10.30am Sunday. Only two tills in operation and trolleys three deep, including lady with zimmer frame. No managers in sight. Asked supervisor-looking young lady about opening more tills and was told "I am trying to, but they have all disappeared". Should have gone to Tesco.

Customer Service is shocking. It is not acceptable to wait in the store for 30 minutes for a Click & Collect order requested the day before, especially with no apology. Gave them another chance. Next visit, I was forced to move out around a member of staff heading towards me with my full basket and her empty handed. Then I asked if the Plenish milk had to be kept in the fridge before opening and I was told in a short manner that it was, that's why it's sold from the chiller. WRONG. As she was so rude I phoned Plenish myself. You DO NOT have to keep their milk in the fridge until it's opened. Sadly it is the middle aged women in the Sidmouth store who are astonishingly rude. I thought they would know better as I'm one and would never treat customers the way they do.

In our busy schedule home delivery is now our new way to shop. The delivery drivers are polite and on time. But this review is for Karen, who went out of her way to deliver my shopping that I missed as I mistakenly booked my appointment in the morning rather than night(what a silly mistake). Top notch service! Thank you :)

Lovely driver, great produce. Loved the fact they are reducing waste. My order had very short dated item and they gave it to me for free which meant it wasn't wasted as I was able to use on the day but equally didn't feel ripped off by the short date. Well done Waitrose.

Way overpriced. Steaks are much smaller, thinner, and more expensive per weight unit than those sold by Tesco and Sainsbury's, while the fruit is of same quality as the other supermarkets, with barely anything organic, and the choice of cheeses is dire. Waitrose clearly plays on a false image of high quality in order to appeal to an educated middle class clientele, but it's all an illusion.

I sometimes buy food products that I would not normally purchase when you have reduced the price. I bought your slow cooked belly pork in a fruity ale glaze and have just had it. Wow. Full of flavour and the meat could have been eaten with a spoon. Matched with your charlotte potatoes it was an amazing meal. Something I will buy again.

Well done Waitrose for getting rid of your plastic bags and introducing cardboard containers for some of your fruit and vegetables. Great to see that a company listens to its consumers!!

Just got back from the Waitrose in Kingston Upon Thames. Very disappointed with the service. Usually, infact mostly they have been very welcoming. A customer before me had spilled something on the end of the belt the bit where you pay and she was waiting for a replacement. The Waitrose employee pushed all my item over the spilled liquid did not even offer to clean it, did not look or apologise or say hello and did not ask if I needed a bag. Very disappointed with the service I received today. He was rude and hostile. Needs to restart his training in customer service.
