Waitrose own brand baked bean inside base and wall of the tin (bottom half) look suspicious as if the shining coating had reacted with the ingredients, changed the shining appearance into a dull pattern (corrosion?). Waitrose HQ refused to give advice as to whether it is safe to eat despite being asked three times. They ended their email say "..nothing to add further.". Where is their Duty of Care to the public - negligence, arrogance !. They also refused to refund the 2 unopened tin I took back to the store because I did not have the other two tins as a pack of 4. I left them these two tins + one empty so they can see the issue I raised. They clearly value their £1ish greatly and forgot about the Consumer Rights - can't sell damaged goods. They have lost my trust as a quality supermarket. I have bought myself a trolley so I can buy least half of my weekly shopping in M&S a few minutes walk away.

Awful experience have been having deliveries and everything has been OK til today Driver demanded that I remove my mask if I wanted my groceries I had paid for (There was no alcohol in order) Spoke to customer service they basically said I was in the wrong They said if I wanted my groceries I should have removed my mask .Absolutely bonkers we are in the middle of a pandemic .. Ah well usually spend a 100 pounds + a time will take money elsewhere

Ordered a spring bulb planter and a birthday biscuit for my Nans 96th birthday. When it arrived it head all fallen out and looked as though it had been dropped upside down several times. The biscuit was not delivered and something I hadn't ordered was in its place. Not only was the quality poor but it was over a week late. When i spoke to customer service they did offer a new one or £15 refund (it was £40 in total). The gesture was there but not really adequate considering the initial cost and upset. Won't be using this service again sadly.

With Mother’s Day looming I decided to use the Waitrose flower service. Whilst I understand that this is a really busy period for florists, what I do expect is Quality flowers to be delivered from Waitrose. Unfortunately this is not the case. I had the flowers delivered early to my Mother (Friday) well, the picture that she sent me of these flowers upset me, wilted, poor quality flowers, to such an extent that by Saturday they had made their way to the bin! I have contacted customer services, first reply, ( although they had my order number) “ can you confirm the delivery address and your billing address” Now can I just say on my original complaint I attached a picture showing the flowers. I responded to the email, now today they have asked for more photos! It seems Waitrose, are stalling, trying to avoid the refund. So just a shout out to all those thinking of getting quality flowers delivered from Waitrose, don’t do it! Very disappointed, I wonder if they would be happy for their mother to receive such terrible flowers.

Otley (West York’s.) Waitrose. Rude, pretentious, arrogant staff. After THREE negative customer service experiences at the above store I will not be shopping at Waitrose again.

We just had a Waitrose stonebaked pepperoni pizza priced at £4.50 - it was like eating cardboard - no taste and absolutely disgusting - should have only cost 50p it was that awful. 😡😡😡😡 I hardly ever leave a review but this was so bad I had to warn people not to waste their money!!

I try to avoid Waitrose in Malvern and prefer to shop at Waitrose Evesham where the customer service is totally different. Staff at Malvern are rude and unhelpful most of them just standing around chatting to each other. I asked if someone could help me pack as I had 2 trolleys of shopping, then the cashier said my shopping bags were too close to him as I was packing he didn’t feel comfortable? I then asked if someone could help me to my car with the trolleys it was done but with long faces. I won’t go there again. Evesham staff are extremely helpful and courteous I suppose it must be down to the manager.

Waitrose Quick Check - 4 rescans on the trot. Myself and my wife always use quick check in store. The last four times in succession we’ve been subjected to a rescan at the till - the latest today even though I got Waitrose to check my card for any errors/red flags before I started shopping AND no difference between the till and what I’d scanned. Waitrose response...? - after initially implying I may have missed something, “we’re waiting for a system upgrade (delayed by COVID) and if I come back in March it should be better!” 🤷🏻‍♂️ Excited and delighted by the experience? Not me!!

Aberdeen Angus burgers, cooked burgers in a pan without oil the amount of fat that came off these burgers was shocking and the smell while cooking unappetising, lastly bit into burger and found ground bone pieces. through remaining burger on the lawn for the fox . revolting!

So upset that I ordered a hand tied bouquet of flowers following a bereavement only to discover they are delivered on a flat box and left on her step to arrange herself. I am mortified that this is not made clear on the website . I think my friend has better things to do than arrange her own flowers. Will never use waitrose again. Total letdown.

Bought a Fiona Cairns Chocolate Happy Birthday cake from The Altrincham store. The cake was presented really lovely and had over a weeks expiry use by date- god we dandy wait until the expiry date to use it,This was the most awful dry state cake I have ever eaten and nobody could eat it- dreadful

I managed to book a food delivery for me and my neighbour ( ages 70 and 95). We’d had the order booked for 2 weeks and needed the delivery. On the day order due I-received an email saying order cancelled. They offered 15 pounds if I rebooked before Feb 1 ( impossible as deliveries like gold dust) and a phone number I could call that turned out not to work. I contacted Customer Service to say J needed the delivery and even if I had to wait a couple of weeks to please deliver. I was very very rudely told there would be no delivery, that cancelled meant cancelled and I’d just have to look for another slot. The offensiveness and lack of help was mind blowing. A truly bad experience.

I shall never use Waitrose again for flowers the customer service chap was. Rude, difficult. Challenging I would advice people requiring go to other florists. I wish all customers could hear the recorded message

I bought a turkey breast for Christmas which had absolutely no taste to it. It was a small one suitable for 4 people, costing £25. I realise that smaller ones have less taste, but didn’t expect it to be totally tasteless. Why sell this size if you can’t do better than this. It ruined our Christmas meal.
