“Love the Murphy bunk bed in the kids’ room! It is very convenient for the small space. We have received many compliments on it and family appear interested in getting something like this as well. Reasons why I did not give the five stars are; it took a long time from order day to installation day, and I (maybe naively) was under the impression that I wouldn’t have to be concerned with the weight limit. I do understand quality pieces take time to build, and I have laid down on the top bunk with no problem. My niece should not should not have any problem with safely being up there as she grows, just wish I didn’t have to mind the thought. We are definitely happy customers and the kids love their beds! Thank you Wilding Wallbeds for this great product and service!!!”
“The bed is beautiful and exactly what was promised, we did have one of the magnets that hold the accordion doors together immediately come out as the hole it was inserted in/nailed in was too big for it, a little calking seemed to fix the problem :-) Lastly, I wouldn't recommend storing books on this shelf as I feel it would be problematic to load the shelves with that much weight. All and all a great product!”
“Great videos helped with set-up. I added a few "L" brackets to secure it to the wall. Suggest you add a locking mechanism to the legs at the foot of the bed. A guest did not put the legs down properly and awoke to a crash. No apparent damage. The mattress is excellent. The bed was not easy to install”

After extensive research I walked into WILDING WALL BEDS, no set yet on style and money to spend … salesperson provide me with all the information, brochures and prices… couple of days later I placed the order… the Process from that point went very smoothly, great communication, deliver and installation on time …

“On-line instructions were spot on. Great bed, went together well, except many of the screw heads were poorly finished. As such, standard bits would only fit in about 50% of them. We just got more screws and no problems.”
“Love the quality of the bed. The set-up videos (and for us, the moving video, as we moved to a new home after having the bed up for 8 months or so) were excellent and frankly, without them, we wouldn't have had the success we did with setting the bed up. We had a couple of manufacturing snafus....1) the metal plate on the bottom of one of the bookshelves was installed BACKWARDS, so it was impossible to install that side bookshelf properly. Luckily, we discovered the issue and were able to reverse it. 2) the handles included for the pillow backboard were much longer than the holes drilled in the board for them. We had to purchase our own handles in order to fit the pre-drilled holes. The only other issue is that one side of the bookshelves does not click closed, despite our having the bed square and set up correctly. Nothing we've tried rectifies the situation.”
“The murphy bed with couch was top quality and the instruction video was very helpful! The waiting for 8 months was understandable due to supply problems. While we understand the fabric for the couch we ordered was delayed in getting to the manufacturer, I do feel there was a lack of communication from the company regarding the delays. We had to continually ask the status of our order. Also, the written instructions were no help. All in all, we are very happy with our purchase.”
“The bed is stunning and very comfortable. Our only complaint was that some elements of putting it together were beyond our capacity. It caught us off guard. We had to call in some younger, stronger help. Other than that the finished product is beyond my wildest expectations. The customer service was the best. I was treated like I was their only customer. “M husband is a general contractor and has directly and indirectly brought customers n to see the bed which has resulted in 6 beds being purchased out of the Chino, ca showroom. When we went to buy a custom size end cabinet for our bed we were told hat he factory was no able to do any custom work at that time due to COVID issues. So my husband built it himself. When asking for stain to match the existing bed it was said due to the circumstances that resulted in him building his own cabinet, the company could provide him with enough to stain the cabinet. When we arrived at the Chino showroom we were asked to pay for the stain. Not what we expected to given Wilding was unable to provide a side cabinet for my unit.”
“Very competent salespeople, knowledgeable and helpful. Good product, beautiful wood cabinet. Difficult to put sheets and bedding on mattress. Waiting for a replacement leg, original was not level when opened.”
“We had bought a wall bed in 2006 that was superbly made. This new wall bed we just got had beautiful cupboards but we were very disappointed with the bed mechanism. The bed mechanism is made in China and it looks cheap. I just hope it holds up.”
“Two bi-fold bookcase wall beds, several adjoining bookcases and one adjoining desk. Overall an excellent product, well made and well designed. Very difficult to install even though, we have years of construction, home repair and woodworking experience. Manual, videos and phone consultation with Wilding worked well. Would be much better if Wilding offered installation services from their own professional staff. Missing one piece of quarter round trim which we purchased locally. The large metal bi-fold bookcase pivots were not machined correctly and required filing down. Wilding sent new light, free of charge for one that we broke during installation. End result is two excellent and beautiful bedrooms/study/sewing room.”
“Despite a shipping delay due to globalization cracks, the bed arrived in good condition. It fits in handsomely with my guest room decor. There are two issues I wasn't prepared to deal with. They are not the fault of the manufacturer or Wilding Wallbeds. Unlike my other Murphy-style bed, I am unable to make it up and then fold it back into its case. This means my guests will need to attach all the bedding after opening it. They can do that fine, but the other issue is that a young woman like my granddaughter may not be able to open the bed up. I had some difficulty myself. Ideally, it would be a two-person affair. I accept any blame for these issues, for not having made a deeper investigation before selecting this model.”
