We are holidaying at the Lakeside Coastal Resort, Hayling Island. Chalet is adequate but shower was a ridiculous size, far too small and with handrail in there I kept bumping myself. Menu very limited had trouble some nights finding something to eat. Also drinks were very expensive. Entertainment was not bad but not a fan of West End musicals, found there was a bit to much of that. Resident band Central Park were very good but Rebecca needs to stop doing her squeaks, she is not Michael Jackson and it spoilt an otherwise enjoyable evening. Staff very helpful and polite. Will not be taking any more Warner’s breaks, it was just not for us.

Having returned from bembridge on Isle of Wight we complained that our sea view room did not have a sea view at all. We sat looking at the bowling green (through the bushes) and a car park area. Also paid extra for a signature room which was looking quite tired. Have stayed in better standard rooms elsewhere. The menu was very limited and appeared to be budget controlled. Will be pleased to see them return to their great buffets after the lockdown is lifted.

We had a weekend break booked at Nidd Hall starting on 9 July but had a telephone call from Warner’s on 2 July to say our break was cancelled due to COVID restrictions. As this was the fourth or fifth time we had to postpone we decided to get our money refunded. We then had an email from Warner’s saying we had instigated the cancellation which just added insult to injury so we decided to complain about the way this had been handled. Eventually managed to locate and complete a complaint form but also tried to speak to someone at the hotel to let them know how disappointed we were. After waiting almost an hour to be put through to someone we gave it up as a bad job. We have been customers of Warner’s for many years and like going to Nidd Hall but think we’ll try elsewhere in future.

We have just retuned from a 5day stay at Thorpe Park. Very disappointed . To summarise only book if you like 20 min wait for bar service, 20 to 30 wait in a corridor for meals served in a covered internal courtyard with cafe style seating and no ambience. Limited menu. Food variable. Soggy roast potatoes was a shame as it spoiled a good roast beef meal. Staff doing their best considering their shortage in numbers. Rooms clean and well serviced. The old building is fabulous, and having Thorpe Park next door is a great benefit. So Sad.

My husband and I stayed at Studley Castle recently and I had reason to contact them when we arrived home. This was a very difficult thing to do!!! Eventually I made contact with a Customer Service gentleman named Lewis Williams. Lewis was amazing, he was diligent, very polite and extremely helpful. I highly commend the young man and hope that Bourne Leisure recognise what an asset Lewis is especially as their reputation needs a big boost!!!

Stayed for 4 nights at Norton Grange. 24/5 - 28/5 Had been there before so knew what to expect. Everything was fine despite the pandemic. All meals were waiter/waitress served and it worked well....except for one breakfast when it just didn't arrive after ages. The weather got very hot & sunny on our last full day....and all wanted to do was sit outside in a comfy seat and soak up the warmth after being locked inside for so many months, There are huge, beautiful gardens there, sadly though there was lack of chairs to sit on. There are benches it true.....not that many, a huge improvement would be to place comfrtable chairs around the grounds. There are chairs at the waterfront decks, but the waiters seemed to want you to buy drinks if you sit there. The entertainment was excellent and each night a different act. The Bee Gees tribute was excellent. Altogether a pleasant stay within the social distancing measures. Thank you. One point for the chef. What is it with the roast beetroot which seemed to be on your plate every evening meal? Very strange. Thank you.

Booked at Holme Lacy House. Checking out on Monday 31st May. Evening entertainment on Saturday the 29th was good however it finished really early for a Saturday night. The band played for an hour. The pandemic is challenging however the same band could have been booked for longer. The amount we paid should have reflected the entertainment gaps. There is always something not available on the menu.

JUST RETURNED FROM A HOLIDAY AT LITTLECOTE HOTEL, HAD BOOKED A STANDARD ROOM BUT WAS TOLD IT HAD A BATH, AS MY WIFE NEEDS A SHOWER CUBICLE FOR HEALTH REASONS,I 'PHONED THE HOTEL AND ASKED FOR A ROOM WITH A SHOWER CUBICLE, TO BE TOLD THERE WAS'NT ANY AVAILBLE,AND I WOULD HAVE TO UPGRADE TO A SIGNATURE ROOM ON PAYING AN £80 EXTRA CHARGE, WHICH I DID. THE ANNOYING PART IS THAT OUR FRIENDS WHO WERE WITH US ALSO CHANGED THEIR ROOM TWO WEEKS LATER, AND WERE GIVEN A ROOM WHICH ON ARRIVAL HAD A SHOWER CUBICLE WHICH WE REQUESTED! A FURTHER ANNOYANCE WAS THAT OUR SIGNATURE ROOM HAD A FAULTY TOILET WHICH HAD TO HAVE A NEW INTERNAL PART ORDERED WHICH DID NOT COME DURING OUR STAY, THE LONG FLUSH DID'NT WORK AT ALL,AND THE SHORT FLUSH HAD TO BE PUSHED VERY HARD MANY TIMES TO WORK AT ALL, MOST ANNOYING! WITH ALL THE ABOVE PROBLEMS, I WOULD LIKE TO REQUEST MY £80 EXTRA COST BACK AS A GESTURE. YOUR'S ETC. JOHN M. WACKETT. DATE OF OUR HOLIDAY W/C 17th.MAY LEAD NAME PRICE.

We had a weekend break cancelled due to the pandemic, waiting for the government announcement on Wednesday 24/02/21 to find out when the the hotels would open again. We chose an alternative weekend break in September so we could move our money to this break, but as we decided to re-book the price had gone up by £65pp that’s ok maybe time of year. But then the hotel changed the price two more times. It went from £264 to £299 to £319 all in the space of 24 hours, original price £199pp at a different hotel. Not prepared to be used we have requested a full refund, we feel Warner are taking advantage of the situation and change the prices to suit popularity. So please be warned.

On the arrival at Studley Castel Hotel on Monday26th October we went to room No50 the room looked ok it was not until Tuesday i had a shower only to find the grout was dirty plus cobwebs around door frame and then cobwebs on light over the dressing table light, this was reported later my lady dropped her lipstick so i looked under the bed only to be shocked to find a news paper dated August. I thought these rooms were deep cleaned this does seem the case we both came home covid 19/holiday ref12147928

My sister had booked an August holiday for the three of us at Nidd Hall and paid the deposits. She died on the 30th June and her husband notified the company requesting a cancellation of the booking and refund of the deposits. He then sent the death certificate. However, three months on and he still has not received a refund. He has phoned several times but has been fobbed off. Staff have promised to ring him back but never have. He is in his eighties and is very stressed about their appalling administration. We have now been told Warners never received the death certificate which was posted out with an accompanying letter in July. Another pathetic excuse! They will do anything to hang onto your money! To make matters worse, Warners sent a Christmas brochure in the post addressed to my deceased sister last week causing her husband even greater distress. This company don't even deserve one star. Their customer service and administration are appalling. After many years dealing with them, we will not be doing so in the future!!

Warners was always under a time bubble and Covid has finally burst that. But it was a good concept they say like a cruise on land well yes if you have a very large imagination. You need to now run a business for over 40's not over 80's otherwise your time is running out. Warners represents offers that are not offers unless the starting price was £2k for 3 nights! Arrogant, ignorant, dirty old people, ballroom, mobility scooters, bingo, quizzes with answers you would only know if born 1930. So if you want to pay £6 plus a pint, £7 plus for a sandwich, dance to Fred Astair, listen to old people openly farting, watch people grabbing food with hands, get Covid and even more frequently Norovirus, playing 1930's quizzes, old people staring and glaring at you because you are under 79 then do stay you'll absolutely love it.

Booked a holiday to Nidd hall on the understanding we could cancel if we felt unsafe due to covid. After Boris announcement yesterday and living in Newcastle area in lockdown, we decided to cancel as to travel there would be in breech of non essential travel. We were going with family from other house holds so could not now sit together. Also everything closing at ten and restrictions on all other facilities. So not what we booked for. Beware you lose your deposit unless your willing to pay the full amount and wait until 28 days before your break. And judging by other comments on here they are in no hurry to refund you !!! Be very careful before parting with your money they are not to be believed. So disappointed and ripped off.

Very disappointed with our three day weekend at Thoresby Hall Sept 2020. Our agreed breakfast time of 9am every day changed to 9.45am when we arrived. Friday evening dinner quite late arriving. Saturday breakfast dining queue up the stairs to the Great Hall with my husband(on a scooter) waiting for me over 20 mins on the lower floor. My porridge was served at 10.35am 16 hours after my last food! Sunday breakfast two courses being served together again and so late our family group of 4 missed the morning quiz for the second time, not terrible but part of our entertainment package. Sunday we went to the blue room (only place with 4 seats together) for our mid morning refreshments significantly later owing to our late breakfast. Why did it take nearly one hour for two hot drinks and two lemonades? My husband with chronic kidney disease was so thirsty he was ill later and had to spend the evening in bed. I couldn’t buy water as the bar was too busy. So a difficult, stressful weekend. In fairness we have to accept that the Coronavirus restrictions are difficult for the hospitality industry but Warners need to ensure that there are sufficient staff and equipment I.e. hot drink machines to serve guests in the busiest areas.

Bodelwyddan Castle Hotel Returned today from three much anticipated nights at what we thought were going to be the luxury that is advertised. We were throughly disappointed and felt completely cheated. Garden room, budget type, overlooking concrete wall. Inedible first meal with remainder being mediocre and no individuality. Chef? No just formulaic pre plated food. Terrific staff polite pleasant and helpful. Perfectly clean everywhere and fantastic cocktails. We spent £800 and feel robbed.
