Absolutely disgusted by this company don’t waste your money definitely not Worth the paper it’s written on told me the reason they couldn’t pay for my shock absorber repair was the problem was due to wear and tear unbelievable isn’t that the whole reason you take out an extended warranty con artists extraordinaire

I purchased a vehicle from a dealer that issued a 6 months warranty purchased from Warranty Wise, in its 3rd month it developed a fault, I contacted Warranty Wise and they insisted that the car be checked by a reputable garage and that the garage must ring them for authorisation before carrying out the repair. The garage found that the ignition coil was faulty and requested authorisation from Warranty Wise - they refused to pay stating that the dealer purchased cover is the cheapest and it does not cover replacement of the faulty iginition coil!!! The garage also could not believe it! To cut a long story short - I ended up paying for the repairs and in addition also for the 'diagnostics result' that Warranty Wise requested! DOUBLE WAMMY!!! These are nothing but 'Conmen' and 'scammers' issuing repair warranties not worth the paper they are written on!

Warranty wise will use any excuse not to pay out on a claim. When the repairing garage made a mistake in the authorisation process and unwittingly completed repairs without an authorisation code, Warranty wise refused to pay out. They didnt bother to investigate whether the claim was justified or if the repairs were necessary or covered by the policy, they only cared about the box ticking of the garage.. I strongly urge anyone considering a used car warranty with these people to think long and hard whether they really need the headache of wondering if warranty wise will pay out as per their obligations or will they use any excuse not to. if you can afford to foot repair bills I suggest saving your premium and just paying for repairs as and when necessary, because ultimately this is what you will be doing. I do not recommend warranty wise, and have already managed to advise a number of acquaintances to avoid.

Complete waste of money. Glad I got a text reminder my cover is running out as it reminded me how absolutely useless this 'cover' is. After experiencing issues which were described in their booklet, it took months to get anything done. No garages want to deal with them due to 'bad previous experiences' apart from Halfords. After two weeks without the car I've been informed they couldn't investigate the issue. I ended up returning the car altogether as it had other problems but the distaste with this company stayed. Could not recommend this to anyone - they will try to either wiggle out of paying for issues, even if directly listed in the cover details. If you do manage to get them to do any repairs, be prepared for months of painful and drawn out process. The warranty came with the car, so at least I did not directly pay for it, that's the only good thing.

Scam avoid them. Dont get this warranty. I had service done at Honda where they advised me to change the droplinks as this was MOT failure. Tried to claim back from warrantywise it was only £140 but they told me that my car had recently MOT and it passed hence this repair doesnt come under warranty although I had platinum level. Never use them aga

I think all good reviews for this company are from those people who either didn't make a claim and in courtesy gave review or did small claims as if you make claim which is beyond £1000 they will hire some so-called engineer whose internet rating and reviews are pathetic and they will give such reasoning on which they don't have to pay for claim. As that happened to me, when I asked for an explanation on an issue from that independent engineer this is what they said, quoting below, they not even sure whether its bearing failure or transfer gearbox but they sure about one thing, the issue was preexisting ... seriously.. this is level of their independent engineer From lauren at ace-uk.org Further to your below emails, I have referred these to our senior engineer Mr Thomas, he has reviewed your emails along with the report. We can confirm that at the time of our examination and road test the engineer identified that the vehicle was noted to skip and displayed a grinding type noise consistent with an internal transfer box issue. This on the balance of probability is the result of either a transfer box gear or bearing failure, the latter being the most likely. It is unlikely that the transfer box has suffered a sudden breakage based on the mileage the vehicle has covered and the noise in our opinion and our experience in matters such as this would have been commencing at policy inception. We trust the above is of assistance. Regards Lauren

was given a Gold standard warranty with… was given a Gold standard warranty with car purchase in August 2019. The power steering then failed 2 months after purchase. Local garage assessed the vehicle and sent to Warranty Wise. Claim was declined as although they cover "wear and tear", apparently they do not cover such wear and tear until you have owned the vehicle for 4 weeks and driven in excess of 1,000 miles - a difficult thing to do for what was always intended to be a local run around! However, when I spoke to then local garage they are very clear that they did not assess the failure as "wear and tear". Warranty Wise have therefore not only lied to me about what was reported, and have failed to honour a valid claim - absolute charlatans in my opinion - DO NOT TOUCH

Don't use these cowboys - had platinum cover with them and wouldn't replace a window switch!!, because they don't class it as mechanical, even though it brings the window down. I was sold this cover with a new car purchase, so if your doing the same don't take the cover out - shop around for a company thats helpful. not a typical insurance business that takes your money and runs
