we booked it even though other companies like booking.com was cheaper. On arrival have to walk fair bit of distance including going to different level that wasn’t easy with kids and luggage. The driver itself was rude and we booked 8 bags but he was counting even th small hand bags and refused to take us to the hotel . After negotiations we have to pay extra 1400 TK as he called his friend to get another taxi Will never recommend it

Take a taxi, take an Uber, DON'T take Welcome Pickups. My wife and I are seniors in our 70's and on June 8th 2024 we contracted Welcome services to pick us up at Lisbon airport and make our 1st visit to Portugal seamless, easy and stress free. It was just the opposite, our driver Bruno Silva did not greet us at arrivals with a sign with our name. We had to scan and read the multitude of signs for other passengers only to find that our name was absent. Finally Bruno texted us that he was outside the airport terminal and we should try and locate him at the extreme end of the terminal on an exit roadway and all of this after being exhausted from a 6 hr. overnight flight and now pulling our heavy luggage all over the place to try and search for Bruno. This was a terrible experience and we asked Welcome Pickups for a full refund. Murat Seytov and Cyan Stroller from W.P. investigated and acknowledged the failures with an apology. They stated that a full refund WAS NOT POSSIBLE and offered a 20 euro coupon for 1 year on any future Welcome Pickups. Originally I had paid 35 euro's for the service so this compensation fell very very short of any real goodwill gesture. Only a full refund would have made a difference in our opinion of this companies terrible service and poor customer service response.

Driver never showed. Also on front end of trip they didn’t refund a cancellation due to airline delays beyond my control. They are impossible to contact. Avoid this service.

Cancelled my pickup from airport as I am traveling by automobile instead. options are cancellation and refund or cancellation with coupon. I chose coupon but reservation website doesn't work two devices and coupon expires at midnight.

I used Welcome Pickups recently on my first trip to Barcelona At the recommendation of my hotel. I was coming from a long distance away and did not want to have to worry about transportation to and from the airport. I booked the rides online in advance and paid for them. When I arrived, my driver driver was waiting for me in the arrival area with a placard bearing my name. On both rides, from the airport and back to the airport, my experience could not have been better. Both drivers were friendly, courteous, and took care of all my bags. My ride back to the airport was very late at night, but I need not have worried about his arrival or punctuality. He was waiting at my hotel five minutes before the agreed-upon time. The services perhaps a bit more expensive than a regular taxi cab, but not terribly so, and for me, the little bit of extra money was well worth it. I'm happy to know about this service, and I will look for it when I travel in the future.

I do not understand how they are getting good reviews. They are horrible to work with. As a travel agent, I DO NOT recommend. Use a different company. They are late, they can’t help if you have a travel issue and times change which are 1000% more prevalent these days. They have no customer service, try emailing if you need help MAYBE you’ll get an email back in 4 hours but no promises. The phone system is no better AT ALL. They will tell you to email. There’s better transfer companies, not them.

Ferenc Ruszkai was ready at Budapest Airport when we arrived. As the boat we were going to had changed it's port we had a more difficult ride than expected. Ferenc took it all in his stride and delivered us to our destination without a word of complaint. Welcome will be our choice from now on.

My flight was delayed and driver cancelled, despite me sending messages to say the flight was late, and receiving messages back to say the driver would monitor arrival times. They took the money anyway. Very disappointing!

Left us stranded at the airport, but kept our money. Avoid if want to actually be picked up. Driver left us even though we were in contact and at the airport.

BEWARE!!!!Our driver was never there!!!! We called the phone # they gave us for him 3 times he never answered.. There were a lot of other companies picking up customers. I even walked outside to look for his car, checked with airport personnel to see if there was another location he could be at and there was not. 2 female senior citizens stuck at the airport. We had to find a cab to take us to our hotel and when we finally got a hold of customer service they said the driver left we weren't there. They would not refund our money, and then also had to pay another $125.00 to get to the hotel. Do not book with this company

My wife and I arrived in Nassau today. I booked a sedan for 2 people and 3 bags. My driver was identified as Erica, with a picture, her car description and tags. When we landed, I received a WhatsApp message from "John" with Big Momma Taxi. When I sent Erica a WhatsApp, she stated I should meet John at the arrival door. We met John, and he was very friendly. He called a driver and he said it would be around 7 minutes. This was not a problem, nut when he took us to our "ride", it not only wasn't Erica, it wasn't a sedan. It was an old, multi-person van for 15-20 people that was rusted in several spots and had soiled, dirty seats. Not only do I not think it was worth the $62 I paid for this, when I canceled my return trip, I was only refunded 80% of my pre-paid fee. I will not recommend this service to anyone and I won't use it again.

Today I was picked up by one expert driver by name Ajith for a ride from Colombo to Kandy. He is so humble , cooperative & lovely in expression which impressed with relief from the stress of journey all the way from Hyderabad to Kandy. He speaks good in English, Hindi & explains the local customs of the Srilanka.I wish him all the best and his company too.

PRAGUE Holiday, Airport-Hotel, Hotel-Airport. I pre-booked in the UK via web well in advance, then downloaded app. I was given information of driver, licence plate, car etc via email, sms and app closer to holiday. My driver was the same for both journeys. Azamjon was very friendly and checked on my location when flight was due and kept in touch for return flight so I knew he was on his way. He told me about things we were traveling past during the ride, including the 25 meter long electric bus! It was much more than just a taxi ride, for me, it was a very big warm welcome to Prague. It was my first holiday and my first travelling alone so I was nervous but he was much more than a driver, he made me feel like I had a friend. I cannot express how thankful I am for his kind hospitality and if he is ever in the UK I would love to return the favour and show him around and have a drink together. Thank you Azamjon!
