DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS TERRIBLE COMPANY. Don't do it. As a solo female traveler, I wanted a more "reliable and secure" experience going from the airport to my hotel since I'd heard some things about taxis in Paris. Well, little did I know this company is way worse than that and reliable and secure are not something they know the meaning of. First of all, they make you select a flight from their drop down menu, so if their information is incorrect, what you submit will be incorrect. My flight information was incorrect in their system and so they sent me an email requesting I update it or else "my transfer might be cancelled". First of all, regardless if my flight info is wrong, if I book a transfer for pick up at a certain date and time, the driver SHOULD be there and wait their 30 minutes. That's what I PAID for. I "update" the information and this time the flight is correct in their system and they reply with an email confirming the update. Great, all is good then. Then after my 11 hour flight I check my email since there is no WiFi on my flight and I see a ton of emails from WelcomeTransfer and my driver saying the information is wrong and my transfer has been cancelled. I had also messaged the assigned driver and the "great, friendly, warm driver (they claim to have)" didn't even respond to my message, so that's how great they are. They are claiming I submitted incorrect information regarding my flight which again, was not incorrect and only offered an 80% refund even though THEY cancelled it based on their fraudulent terms. I've already told them to refund me the full amount since I provided everything correct and they are the ones who for some reason decided to cancel my transfer or I'll do a chargeback and they can deal with proving how what I provided was incorrect. Don't ever use this shady company. Also, my taxi experience from ORLY was great and way cheaper than this hack of a company, so just do that instead!

Money grabbing company. I made a round trip reservation (trips 3 days apart) but had to cancel within 5 hours. They charged me for both trips. I understand they would charge me for the first lag of the trip (since it was too close to the time) but to charge me for the second lag which was 3 days away was absurd. Will be filing dispute through my bank

the driver used google to check flight status which was delayed but not updated on google , we have arrived the airport but no one was there , I while booking you asked for flight number and we give this means you have to check flight status from company website not from google . out flight was delayed and we lost our money in this non professional company and when I contacted the driver he said that he left Madrid airport and if we want transfer we need to pay more and at the end we took a normal taxi which was 10 euro cheaper than the amount we paid for this company, the way of communication for them is wapp which is not convenient as sometime you have no internet

I was charged USD85 (NZD140) for a one way trip from Gold Coast Airport to Broadbeach. That is at least twice as much as any other taxi company and my taxi was an Uber! I have complained many times but the company will not budge and refund the overpayment. The quote on the website was AUD44. At no time did they quote in US Dollars. I would not use this taxi service again and recommend that anyone else do the same. Since writing this review and after much tooing and frowing, the company has refunded 50% of my payment, which I am happy with.

I booked (and paid for) a transfer from the Cancun Airport to a hotel in Isla Mujeres. Less than 24 hours before said transfer, the company that was actually going to do the transfer, contacts me to say they can't take me to the hotel but rather to the port where I would have to take a ferry boat ! They couldn't cancel it themselfes so I contacted Welcome just to learn that "we accepted the transaction by mistake". Just be careful when they accept your transaction. It may be a mistake ...

I do not recommend this company for a pickup from a cruise ship. Here are the reasons; 1. You have no control over when your bags will be released. 2. Unlike the airport pickup for a cruise ship you are only given 30 minutes delay to arrive from your transport time if there is a delay. 3. For airports delays you are given 1 hour After your pickup time due to baggage delays. 4. The arrival of your luggage off a cruise ship is out of your control you are assigned a number and told when your bags are to be delivered. If the ship is running behind in the debarking and the delivery of your bags you are screwed on your pick up. 5. My delay was for one hour. 6. I communicated directly with the driver and advised him of the delay. He indicated he would wait. When I advised him of the delay he indicated he had another pickup. I also told him I would notify the office of the delay. He then indicated he would wait but he did not he left me 6. The driver waited 10 minutes more and left me which did not give me an opportunity to book with your company for a change in the pickup, so I got screwed out of my money and the ability to change to a different driver. 7. The driver got paid, his action prevented a reasonable charge to an another driver. The drive used the rules to his advantage. So screw over the foreign customers. It’s all about the dollars, not the service and you are stranded. Buyer beware, use someone else. On a positive note I used this company to transport me to the ship for the cruise. It was perfect. Both pick ups cancelled last minute leaving 8 people very stressed and disappointed. Totally out of order with cancellations at 10pm for a 7.30am pick up! Outraged

The driver in Barcelona scammed us and likely stole our bag. There were 2 bags to be loaded, he told us to get in the van that he would load the bags. We got to the airport and one bags was not there. He was either completely incompetent or he scammed us and left it behind for a partner to pick up. There was no other person on the sidewalk.

Booked weeks in advance. They cancelled when we were an hour outside of Paris, leaving us scrambling at Gare de Nord to find transportation for our family. If you’ve been there, you know you want to get out of there as fast as possible, especially with two small children. Completely unacceptable service. Will not book with them in the future.

It was not a good experience. The taxi charges us 65 euros from the International airport of Athens to the airbnb, which was not the fare that we got from your web. You should specify the fare from the airport, so travelers would not have surprises.

The driver for the airport shuttle service was furious at us for only disclosing our 2 carry-on luggage into the comment section while booking. Althought he admitted seeing the comment, he said this was not the place to mention this and requested we give him an additional 15 euros in cash (without providing any receipt of course). He was really rude and had a bad temper. We reported this driver scam to Welcome Pickups and they didn’t do any follow-up with us.I wonder if they tolerate these type of scam from their driver?

It's a scam. Use at your own risk. Used it in Paris. Driver cancelled with no support from the team on options and no refund offered.

The driver wouldn’t wait for me as it was over 1 hour even though he had been told that there was a problem getting assistance to get me off the aeroplane and I’d been assured he would wait. He left me with no option but to pay for another taxi. Will not use you again. Rubbish company happy to take my money didn’t care that he left me at airport

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY Booked a return journey from Pafos Airport to Limassol. Inbound journey got notified of driver and vehicle day before saying the driver would meet you at the airport. On landing got a WhatsApp message from someone saying he was our driver and to contact him when out of the airport (different driver and vehicle). No meet and had to wait. That wasn't the worst of it on our return I kept asking for the return drivers details. just over 3 hours before pick up contacted to say a driver has allocated and don't worry. 1 hour later got a message saying no drivers available in Cyprus and cancelled the pickup, leaving us stranded. Had to pay over the odds to get a taxi quickly. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

Where do I start. We arrived in napoli, Italy to find that our driver cancelled 1 hour before pick up from the airport whilst we were still in the air. We then had to organise another transfer to get to our destination last minute which took a lot of time and was stressful. It gets much worse. Upon leaving the destination (I had booked transfers through this company from the airport and a return to the airport at the end of the holiday) I received an email at 1am saying the other transfer was cancelled. 1 am. We were leaving that morning. What a disgusting service. I can tolerate one cancellation for what ever reason but 2 in a row and we are paying a lot of money for this pathic service, it just does not add up. Please be weary if you book this company in the future. I am very easy going but this has been the worst service I have received. I am now left to organise yet another transfer hours before departure (yes, it's 1am.). Just don't use this service for peace of mind, I know it's harsh but I can provide emails with dates and times from when we booked (months in advance) to this hours before cancellation. Pathetic. Please see the attached emails from a 24h hour reminder with an assigned driver to a cancellation at 12:40am(morning of transfer). Never use this service.

Driver didn't show up, didn't respond to messages. Claimed my reservation was cancelled. It magically reappeared with a new time--after I had messaged the company multiple times as well. So I got charged for a ride that didn't show up, and had no one respond to me. Garbage company through and through.

The slogan "make every place feel like home". Being in another country and the driver not showing up and having to find transportation at the last minute is not a very "homey" feeling. I understand that a company can not control what individual employees/contractors do but they have absolute control over how they remedy the situation. You book in advance and use a company like this so that you are not at the mercy of drivers in tourist spots. So when our driver didn't show and we had to negotiate to get transportation at the last minute of course we had to pay more. Now to the credit of this company they refunded the money paid without much difficulty. But that still left us out the additional we had to pay the driver we found at the last minute. We weren't looking to get off without paying anything. Welcome Pickups offered to refund the difference. I thought wow what great customer service. Now we will only be out what we were originally planning to spend. That would have righted the wrong. But wait, only given we provided a receipt for the transportation we got at the last minute. When as a driver/taxi or otherwise given a receipt when someone pays cash on the spot? To me that was a very unreasonable request. The price we paid was in line with the average price of taxis in the area. I provided receipts for the restaurant that we went to on that day. The distance alone proved we had to get transportation as there was no way we could have walked. We had a picture that we took inside the place that had a picture of the sign as proof of what they charge. I also submitted this, still not good enough. If your driver doesn't show, I shouldn't be out one extra penny. This company had the opportunity to make us whole and chose not to. Unacceptable. Nothing is guarantied and things happen but when a company can make it right and chooses not to, its a company I would think twice about doing business with again.

We had the same bad experience twice within 6 months! We booked a tour in Edinburgh,after confirming and receiving the payment they informed us that the trip will be canceled. The same incident happened in Budapest and not only they took the payment and never assigned us a driver, we had to call them on a Greek line (that was the closest destination they have support line) and find out that our trip was canceled under the excuse that they didn't have an available driver. That conversation took place 1h prior to the trip, which is unacceptable since we lost our time. Since they are understaffed and don't have the adequate sources they shouldn't preauthorise credit cards until the driver is assigned. I don't recommend it unless you have time to lose.
