Welcome Pickups est à ne surtout pas recommander à quiconque souhaite être à l’heure pour avoir son avion. Flashback : Rendez-vous pris à 4:30 du matin pour être emmené à l’aéroport d’Orly. A 4:32, pas de chauffeur. Tentative pour le joindre au téléphone : pas de réponse et bien sûr pas de call center vers qui se tourner ! A 4:45, message du chauffeur expliquant qu’il est coincé sur l’autoroute du fait d’un accident et me disant de trouver un autre taxi. Il ne s’est pas donné la peine d’appeler et surtout, si il était vraiment bloqué, il aurait du prévenir tout de suite et surtout répondre à l’appel ! En fait, il ne s’est probablement pas réveillé et ses excuses son, à mon sens, en dessous de tout ! De plus, Welcome Pickups propose, en guise de dédommagement, le remboursement de la réservation et un bon de 20 euros sur leur prochain taxi. J’ai loupé mon vol et voilà tout ce qu’ils osent proposer ? Une vaste fumisterie ! Un conseil, fuyez cette compagnie de vtc à toutes jambes !

This is a FAKE company in Budapest with 99% FAKE reviews! They have hurt a lot of people already. Contracted content editors write these reviews.

Canceled 72 ours before pickup. They charged 20% fee. This fee was not explained during reservation only after I canceled. The say you can cancel 24 ours before but they say nothing about the fee! Cancelation policy is ment to be shown during reservation not after it. Not recommended.

I booked a transfer in Venice Italy. Welcome Pickups cancelled our booking even though it's a legal agreement was already in place and is asking us double the price because *they* made a mistake. If I made a mistake with a first time customer I would be ashamed to act like this. Not using them.

We are very sorry for the inconvinience caused, but as explained previously in our email correspondance, due to a sytemic error, the price that was calculated for your booking was incorrect. We reached out to you as soon as we received the reservation, to inform you about this technical issue, but you did not want to proceed with the extra charge, therefore, we cancelled and fully refunded your booking. However, we are once again sorry about the confusion, and we sincerely hope you'll consider using our services again in the future. We wish you all the best

Pickup booked 2 days before arrival to dubai the driver did not show up i called him several times he is telling that the driver will be there in 2 minutes he never come Don’t use this service i do not recommande at all

In case of cancellation, they refund the amount paid minus 20 % !!! AND you've got to wait for 30 days to get the refund... An absolute scandal !!! Better think very well before doing business with them. :((

Very unprofessional and rude driver. We booked the day prior to our flight. We landed and cleared customs on time. The driver was late but we only found out after calling him upon our arrival, as he didn't notify us before. He gave us an estimate time of arrival (20'), but refused to open his tracker so we could follow. He asked to meet at a pickup point without specifying where. After 6 hours of travel and with 2 big suitcases we wanted some clarity before moving around the airport, a discussion ensued and the driver became very rude and, after over 30 minutes of wait, he said he would cancel the ride, that we should find our own way into town, and that we would never be refunded. Luckily we did find a cab straight away, we'll see about the refund. Unacceptable level of service. We have sent a complaint to the company.

We have a problem, see review 5 days before Anne Marie Blessing. We get this answer: ...Furthermore, a member of our Customer Service team will soon get in touch with you to clarify the issue... 5 days ago we wrote a comment where we presented our problem. Since then we get the answer from Welcome: "...Furthermore, a member of our Customer Service team will soon get in touch with you to clarify the issue..." But until today we haven't received any news. But a refund about 115 euros. Prior calculated amount was 309 euros. The trip was booked twice (mistakenly due to a malfunction PayPal) Total amount: 309 euros. According to the website, the cancellation fee is 20%. Why does Welcome Travel transfer us only 115 euros instead of 247.20 euros? And why do we have to communicate via the Company Reviews instead by phone or email? It seems that the company goes to great lengths to maintain good contact with the customers. Hopefully it will continue like this.

We are very disappointed with Welcome transfer. A simple booking Roissy Airport to Paris center would have cost 125 euros. Unfortunately, there was apparently a small problem with PayPal, as suddenly the invoice for 309 euros was displayed. Then the note that the route was booked twice. From us. Surprised, we wanted to cancel the booking. Unfortunately, there is neither a telephone number nor an email address on the Welcome Transfer welcome page. After a long search we found a page with the possibility to cancel the booking. But, till to day we have no confirmation of the cancellation nor a reference to the refund of 309 euros minus the mandatory percentage penalty. We just feel let down here and, sorry, that's not the best way.

I booked a transfer for 3 people online and was given a price and paid by credit card. I was then emailed to say that the car could not take 3 people and I would have to pay for an extra car at even more money than the original price. There is nothing on the website to say this. The help page then informs you that you will have 20% taken off your refund - nothing on the booking page to alert you to this robbery. Dreadful company - use someone else.

As you can understand, each destination has different rules, this is why we always notify our customers according the destinations policies at the soonest opportunity. Cancelled 5 months in advance, and they are not providing a 100% refund. Taking 20% for providing 0 service. Dishonest, and once travel picks up again, we will never use them!

Confirming other peoples comments about not offering 100% refund, when I cancelled 5 months in advance. In the future, when travel picks up again, I will not be using Welcome Pickups, and recommend others avoid as well. We should not be doing business with companies that are dishonest and falsely advertise about 100% money back guarantee if you cancel in advance, only to change policies to their benefit as the global situation changes. It affects everyone, and if you book a service, and no services are rendered, and you cancel in advance, there should be a 100% refund. Also, 2 weeks later and still waiting for a refund of 80%.

I'd used this company a couple times in Munich. The driver was there and it went off fine. The second trip was a disaster. They couldn't find a driver for the return to the airport. Notified me at the pick up time. Then they would not offer me a refund citing their T&C's. I could have a coupon for lose 20%. I took the 20% loss and will be moving on from them. Really, they cancelled and then wouldn't refund me?

Another unhappy customer about this merchant charging 20% for cancellation. Unfortunately, our trip was cancelled due to pandemic. Cancellation policy on Tripadvisor site indicated full refund (this does not mean to me a future credit). Not wanting to be ripped off in Athens again, I had booked transportation with Welcome Pickups. Well, my bad experience dealing with Athens transport bit me again. We gave lots of notice and am sure the company was out very little for our cancellation. I will definitely not use them again and will not trust Tripadvisor either. Buyer beware.

Echoing other people's experience with trying to get a refund from this company. Here's what else they do - after keeping 20% of your money during a global pandemic which is bad enough, they sit on it for an additional 14 days. FYI: No matter what they tell you, credit card refunds do not take 14 days. These people are liars and crooks and idiots as they sink whatever reputation they had by taking advantage of people during a pandemic.

We scheduled two sightseeing excursions with welcome pickups, Corfu and Heraklion while cruising with Holland America. Our airlines cancelled our flight and Holland cancelled our cruise because of COVID 19. All of the other travel companies that we used Viator, Get Your Guide, etc have waived cancellation fees. This company has not done so and are charging 20% to cancel. My tours cost 380€ and are more than a month away. Being charged 76€ as an administrative because of a world pandemic shows what this company is, a rip off. Offering full refunds to use in the future, which we will never use, would be a total loss. I know I will never use Welcome Pickups in the future. My advise to people who read this is stay away and use a respectable tour company.

Purchased welcome pickups prepaid for 6 transfers in Spain four in Mid April 2020 and one in early July. Our scheduled events have been cancelled due to Corona virus. Cancelled our transfers and they are keeping 20%. I do not want there voucher as I did not pay with a voucher. I understand the terms and conditions but we are dealing with a global pandemic, this is not the normal situation of a customer cancelling a transfer. They have incurred no expense. They were a good company to deal with however this taking advantage of customers in the situation we are all in speaks volumes about this organisation. Do not use this company.

Had to cancel do to virus. Wanted to issue voucher to be used in one year which I would not use. Then I demanded a refund since no services were performed and the deducted 20 per cent. So unfair!!! Do not use these people...

Due to COVID-19, my trip has been cancelled since it is deemed no longer safe to travel. I was traveling with my 65 year old mother who suffers from asthma as well as other health issues. Welcome Pick ups did not care and would not issue me a FULL refund for circumstances out of my control. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. Don't expect any compassion from them during world wide pandemic.

It is also worth to mention that the coupon's validity is one year, but the traveler can choose any future date for the pick-up. This is the least that we can do in light of this unfortunate event. Booked my first experience with Welcome pickups via their website. Selected my pickup point and drop point. Made the payment online. And then I was also assigned a driver. No issues until there. 30 mins before my pick up , i call the driver who says he isn't going to pick me up because the fee charged is too low. I call the helpdesk who put the blame on the driver. If your algorithm has an incorrect pricing model, please get it fixed. Don't the blame the driver and then let the customer figure out how to solve the problem. At the end of it, just decided to cancel the booking which they were very happy to cancel given the goof up they did. Never again recommending Welcome to anyone.
