I had one of the worst experiences with Welcome Pickups. They cancelled my airport pickup just a couple of hours before my flight landed — while I was already flying and completely unreachable. I arrived at the airport with no transportation options and was forced to find an urgent alternative, paying almost double the price because I hadn’t made a reservation elsewhere. But it gets worse. For my return transfer from the hotel to the airport, the pickup was scheduled for 8:30 AM. At 7:20 AM — just over an hour before — I received a last-minute SMS saying they had no driver available. I had booked this service 15 days in advance and even received a confirmation email with the driver’s name and car details. Yet they still cancelled, leaving me stranded once again, having to scramble for another ride and pay a much higher rate due to the urgency. This company is not trustworthy. They confirmed everything and then failed me twice. I do not recommend Welcome Pickups to anyone — completely unreliable and unprofessional.

Disappointing Experience with Welcome Pickups We had scheduled a transfer for our clients through Welcome Pickups, which was canceled just two days before their arrival at the destination. The booking was made 1.5 months in advance, and the payment was completed at the time of booking. The transfer involved 3 adults and 4 children. Unfortunately, no solution or alternative was offered, leaving our clients without transportation and without compensation. Our experience with Welcome Pickups was extremely disappointing and shows that it is a company you cannot trust under any circumstances. We are awaiting the return of our money and hope that customer service will improve in the future.

I booked a transfer from Langkawi airport to the Danna Langkawi Hotel. I paid $50 Australian dollars. I was met by a man in old clothes and was transferred in a filthy old van. I should have just used the Grab service. Less than favourable experience.

Avoid at all costs. I booked them to take my family and me from our hotel in Athens to the airport. The driver went to the wrong location and then refused to come to the correct place in spite of repeated requests and clear location information. He charged us for additional waiting time and then advised us that we were a 'no show.' We have been advised that we will not be refunded in spite of the driver's conduct. Do not give these people your business.

No full refund when plans changes, even if the cancellation is 4 weeks prior to the trip.

Wir hatten 3 Tage vor unserer Abreise online das Taxi bestellt, eine Bestätigung erhalten und ca. 8 Stunden vor der Abreise, haben wir eine Absage erhalten, es stehe kein Fahrer zur Verfügung!!!! Wie schlecht muss eine Firma organisiert sein, dass nicht bereits schon 3 Tage vorher bekannt war, dass nicht genügend Fahrer zur Verfügung stehen bzw. bei der Grösse dieses Unternehmens nicht nachvollziehbar! Wir werden diesen Service ganz sicher nie wieder nutzen geschweige denn weiter empfehlen.

We had a terrifying ride yesterday from the Ocean Blue & Sand Resort to the Punta Cana airport. Order # w-3954871-1. Our driver, Granmy Joel Perez, drove erratically, far too fast and was constantly honking at other drivers. He was very twitchy and seemed on edge. We soon realized he was under the influence of drugs. We had a baby in the van and it was not a safe situation for us. This type of behaviour should not be tolerated by your company. We feel we should have a full refund and also a reply from you stating what consequences this driver will face. This type of behaviour should be taken very seriously and he should not be driving.

Berlin. I booked a transfer to pick up a guest from Berlin airport and provided the flight number at the time of booking. According to the company's policy, the driver should have monitored the flight status. However, when the flight was unexpectedly canceled, I contacted both the company and the driver to inform them, expecting assistance with rescheduling. Instead, I was met with a rude refusal to make any changes or adjustments, despite their clear knowledge of the cancellation. They refused to refund the payment, claiming the driver would still go to the airport—despite having access to real-time flight information. EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED with the poor customer service and unwillingness to honor their own policies.

For a company that offers an airport service I am extremely disappointed by the service offered. We experienced a delay in one of our flights and were switched to another flight by our airline. Because I was unable to give twelve hours notice of the later arrival time we were left stranded at the airport. I wasted $30 buying wi-fi on the flight to alert them of the change but I was quoted terms and conditions which requires twelve hours notice of any change. I was another $150 out of pocket with a substitute taxi. I will not use again

Veryyy veryyy Bad service!! no Driver waiting on the Airport and someone has answered his phone he was like 1 min i will be there….. after 30mins he was like we dont take you to the Destination you want to go !! Never think twice to order with this company worst ever!

Horrendous. Cancelled our airport booking at 22.00 hours when they should have picked us up for our flight at 5.00 leaving 2 women stranded and unable to get to the airport. DO NOT USE.

Book on welcome pickup 12hours before my time. Cancelled straight away as I didn’t need the service. Took 180 euros off me as and I was told I’d get a refund only 24 hours before my booking and they have already paid the driver. I also asked the driver will I get a refund if I was to cancel and he said yes. This information was not true. Honestly This is an absolute joke a scam! They take your money first then they don’t care about anything. Honestly don’t use this service it’s all a scam. Highly not recommended.

Never use Welcome Pickup!,!! Bait and Switch. Pickup at Bordeaux Airport on Saturday, 14 September, 2024. 17:40, Order Number 364262-1. Assigned driver with picture and name. Telephone number to call him with problem. Reserved Black Mercedes-Benz V Class. Last four numbers of telephone number 6900. Driver will be waiting at gate holding sign with my name on it. No driver waiting at gate. Received call from new driver with instructions where to meet him in parking lot. My wife and I could not locate him. It was our first trip to Bordeaux. After about twenty to thirty minutes he located us. He was driving a four door dirty White Toyota with no air conditioning. My wife had to have him roll up window because it was blowing he hair. He talked on his speaker phone-with a girl while driving us to the hotel. Reported problem with Welcome Pickup and never hear from them except asking if we needed reservations for car to airport after our trip. My wife was very uncomfortable and thought we were going to be robbed.

Would never use this service again and would not recommend them. The driver left us stranded at the airport because we were delayed. He left before we arrived at the meeting place. This is unacceptable and I warn anyone looking to book this service to book a Uber or g7. This is not a reliable company. They will not refund your money either. Terrible!! What a scam! I spoke to several other people that had the same problem with this company. They take your money upfront so they don’t care about the customer they already have your money so if you are delayed they leave. Buyer Beware!!

Doubled booked bc of msg from company that my payment had not gone thru - on a ship - customer service is very user unfriendly -cancelled one booking 2 hours before when we had wifi - company will NOT refund my overpayment - tho they cld see the mistake -the double up -and originally said they wld -they gave me generic excuses for NO refund - so paid twice - very unhappy and would NEVER use or recommend this company Rather donate money to charity -

Welcome Pickups/Driver left us stranded We used Welcome Pickups in Prague in March and they were wonderful. We decided to use them for a transfer from Naples to Meta/Sorrento area. We were taking a train from Rome to Naples and they were to pick us up. Unfortunately Italiano was having a issue with their train and we were delayed. We immediately contacted our driver and kept driver informed the whole way through and he ended up cancelling on us. We were stuck in a foreign country without a ride from Naples to our destination and left us scrambling! All documented. The driver tried to say that he couldnt get in touch with us. Lie! I would not recommend this company again. They respondUPDATE Since I wrote this review Welcome Pickups has wrote a reply saying how sorry they were and they would contact us to discuss. They went on to say how they understood about our concern regarding our train delay. NO Welcome Pickups we were left stranded after we had already paid for the transfer. Driver cancelled us. I literally called the 800 number and incurred $$$ long distance call from Italy to try and get them to help us and they did nothing. They also allowed the driver to say that he was unable to contact us when they know that is completely FABRICATION.
