Absolutely avoid buying a new kitchen fr wickes!!... they messed up the measurements, sent the wrong colour sink which resulted in additional labour costs that they say they're not liable for!

Brought a kitchen from wickes April 2019 now jan 2020 and still not finshed ,absolute shambles from the fitter 3 lots of worktops fitted wrong ,7 sinks ,tiles laid wonky ,cupboards fitted wrong ,2 doors replaced due peeling and cut wrong ,backs of 4 cupboards holes cut to big so had to be replaced, replacement shelf under sink ,screws put in wonky ,hole drilled right through the wall into my hall way behind the a radiator (I had to find this they didn't own up) had to fill ,plaster, decorate at my cost. And this is not all. Steer well clear of wickes this has been the worst experience of my life.

Sent wrong thing--I ordered saw blades marked 22" but they claimed they were 21" and it was my mistake, and the first one was actually 20", I have now waited from October till January and they still want to keep my postage cost for their failings. And I had to buy elsewhere to get the job done.

The most awful experience of my life. I’ve lived in a nightmare for the last seven months. The attitude of the store staff, regional contracts managers, customer services and claims department to date is worse than disgusting. Dismissive, not interested, they claim outstanding payment despite unfinished, substandard fitting without any authorisation and completely ignore an independent survey and a miriad of photographic evidence that shows a design fault, worktops that don’t fit , uneven overhangs, not sealed properly and an uneven joint one can drive a bus through. Sink and gas hob damaged by tiler, wires hanging from under cupboard lights, Screw holes that look like woodworm under wall cupboards, units bowed and of wrong size to fit, holes in back of base units and all units need adjusting to fit. Plumbing under sink is loose. Tiling is of gross substandard quality, brass edging strips ruined (£300 worth), and tiles £220 plus adhesive and grout, electric sockets and switches above worktops all of differing heights, a certificate of minor electrical works signed as tested and verified by an individual I have never hear of from a company I have never had dealings with and who has never set foot in my house and Wickes have constantly fobbed me off and basically called me a liar! If I’m not happy, go to the furniture ombudsman is their stock phrase! NEVER, ever buy your kitchen from Wickes in Southport and definitely don’t let one of their approved contract fitters install it!!! I am now pursuing my claim for refund and damages through the court so I can get my own fitter to reinstall the kitchen. I pity anyone who doesn’t have legal insurance cover as Wickes would have them over a barrel. I attach just a few of the photos as examples. One star rating is too good for them. The stress and anxiety has been awful and difficult to cope with as I have recently been widowed and also lost my mother soon after. The case is still ongoing and now in the hands of my solicitor.

Even one star is one too many!! Cannot stress enough DO NOT use Wickes under any circumstances. The promises made in the showroom fade to a distant memory once money exchanges hands! Do yourself a favour - go elsewhere!

Called in to Oldham store today to chose and purchase a bathroom. Met by someone who looked both of us up and down,we were casually dressed in jeans, informed us the bathroom would be around four and a half thousand pounds to five,I think expecting we would be shocked, not unexpected as we had looked around and priced up. A typical case of don't judge books by covers. We left and purchased on the same day from another store where service was excellent. After we had left the store I telephoned to speak with a manager to complain and was told none was available.

Aftercare from Wickes is terrible. Extremely disappointed in the customer service. The initial kitchen fit was good but afterwards Wickes do not want to take any liability for a fault with the dodgy framework that will not hold a cupboard door that has come apart twice now. They are rude and inept. Once they have your money they are not interested and drag out complaints for months hoping you will leave it

Would give zero stars if I could. I'd be here all day if I wrote everything this dreadful company did, but I'll summarise by saying if you like having endless problems, if you like waiting months for them to replace faulty parts, I'd you like your kitchen installed by people who leave pipes leaking, damaging your property and then being told you have to pay to fix it yourself, I'd you like ringing customer services and being insulted, if you like waiting a year and counting for them to ring you back, choose Wickes. If you prefer a competent company choose anyone else.

Very poor customer service don’t want to know and you get no guarantee with your kitchen after it is done

Very poor customer service experience. No response, so problems not solved. Proceed with caution when dealing with wickes.

If i could give zero stars i would, ordered 2 bathrooms, main bathroom and en-suite, starting with en-suite first, well wish i had never gone near Wickes, it was issue after issue, they had agreed to do en-suite, finish this and then do main bathroom after about 3 weeks the en-suite was still not done, no lights, no mirrors or flooring no shower, got home to find they had ripped out 2nd bathroom with no warning leaving mess all down my stairs. after 10 weeks they finally finished after more issues, they also disclosed the original fitter had been sacked. Communication was awful and they tried to rip me off on specialist works but luckily i checked measurements and amounts. Dont go anywhere near wickes, they are awful just a few pictures many more

I purchased a complete kitchen designed and installed by wicks 12 months ago one of the doors under the sink has swollen and split on the top have been in touch with wicks a lady in complaints told me Lauren Small (Wickes) Dec, 15:39 ; Thank you for your email. Please be advised that moisture ingress is not covered under your guarantee. I apologies for any inconvenience caused?. Sent photos of damage and it seems impossible to get past this point and get competent person from wicks to look at the problem I am in my seventies and thought this would be our for ever kitchen its not lasting a year, how can I get a response from them could be a fault with the work top and affect the other doors later the cost of the kitchen was over £20000 please advise thanks David Nicholls

Do not use Wickes for fitted kitchens. The fitters are often builders who have accounts with them. I know of two who were approached by them. Before I knew this I had a kitchen fitted by Wickes. A disaster. One fitter to fit kitchen and lay tiled floor. Not an actual floor tiler. In the end I had to get my own tiler to lay it. When things go wrong Wickes say that's between you and the fitter, nothing to do with us. Do not think you will get any help from the ombudsman. As Wickes pay their wages they cannot be unbiased as I found out. My Advice do not use Wickes.

AVOID at all costs!!! Shower leaking in newly installed bathroom causing water damage to my property. Wickes accepting no responsibility and have blamed the problem on how I clean the shower?!!! Customer services not interested and have fobbed me off at every opportunity - very much a case of they have my money and now don’t want to know. From reading reviews it seems my experience is not unique. Do yourself a favour avoid these cowboys and go elsewhere.

Awful! Avoid! We've paid £22,000 for the kitchen and fitting and we will have to pay more to get things fixed. Took 7 weeks, instead of the estimated 3 for the job to be finished. The new flooring was left gauged from replacing the broken freezer(the freezer was broken from day one, took 2 weeks to replace) Flooring has been left incomplete, 1-inch gap from the door frame. Parts of the kitchen cabinets are not secured properly. The breakfast bar is cut shorter than planned and useless. The splashback was bodged and not fitted properly; has highly visible joins. The slab worktops scratch really easily avoid these, the showroom worktops must be polished frequently to hide all the scratches. We had to have wickes return twice to fix a bodged cabinet that was wobbling if touched and looked like it would snap

Bought a beautiful Wickes kitchen which the Wickes fitters have ruined with poor workmanship and laziness. Multiple problems. Customer service wrote a specific guarantee for us, so we would sign off as finished, and now they won’t honour it. The 1.74 rating on here would be much lower if those of us wanting to give zero ⭐️ could. Find yourself a quality fitter before buying anything.

Same old problem . You make a lengthy order and then click “payment” and now you are in trouble because after you have put in half your details the screen goes lifeless . You can try again by re clicking payments but same thing happens . I tried six times without success necessitating a long phone call . Same happened in November but never again next time it’s B&Q , Travis Perkins etc etc

If I could give zero stars I would. I had my kitchen designed at the Worthing store and Glen was absolutely amazing and yet the entire process there after has let him down. My kitchen is on a buy now pay later scheme. But someone from head office may want to contact me as my kitchen is incomplete and will not be paying until it is. Wrong deliveries, poor communication, poorly sent deliveries and missing items, time after time, 12 weeks and still not done. The ombudsman will be my next port of call
