Awful! Avoid! We've paid £22,000 for the kitchen and fitting and we will have to pay more to get things fixed. Took 7 weeks, instead of the estimated 3 for the job to be finished. The new flooring was left gauged from replacing the broken freezer(the freezer was broken from day one, took 2 weeks to replace) Flooring has been left incomplete, 1-inch gap from the door frame. Parts of the kitchen cabinets are not secured properly. The breakfast bar is cut shorter than planned and useless. The splashback was bodged and not fitted properly; has highly visible joins. The slab worktops scratch really easily avoid these, the showroom worktops must be polished frequently to hide all the scratches. We had to have wickes return twice to fix a bodged cabinet that was wobbling if touched and looked like it would snap

Bought a beautiful Wickes kitchen which the Wickes fitters have ruined with poor workmanship and laziness. Multiple problems. Customer service wrote a specific guarantee for us, so we would sign off as finished, and now they won’t honour it. The 1.74 rating on here would be much lower if those of us wanting to give zero ⭐️ could. Find yourself a quality fitter before buying anything.

Same old problem . You make a lengthy order and then click “payment” and now you are in trouble because after you have put in half your details the screen goes lifeless . You can try again by re clicking payments but same thing happens . I tried six times without success necessitating a long phone call . Same happened in November but never again next time it’s B&Q , Travis Perkins etc etc

If I could give zero stars I would. I had my kitchen designed at the Worthing store and Glen was absolutely amazing and yet the entire process there after has let him down. My kitchen is on a buy now pay later scheme. But someone from head office may want to contact me as my kitchen is incomplete and will not be paying until it is. Wrong deliveries, poor communication, poorly sent deliveries and missing items, time after time, 12 weeks and still not done. The ombudsman will be my next port of call

i am so pleased that wickes were closed today when i went to buy a kitchen after reading these reviews, why would you as a company waste all that money on advertising 50% of your kitchens then not be open,i watched car after car turning round at the doors shaking there heads.looks like i had a lucky escape

Awful experience. 15 months of ongoing dialogue and visits by different fitters. The original ones were sacked apparently as they’d had so many complaints. I have let it go now as I’m fed up of it all. Some things not resolved and had to accept £170 compensation. Absolutely terrible experience. Go to a private firm ! X

I had my 2 bathrooms fitted by wickes installation team. Instead of 3 weeks which was agreed at the beginning it took 3 months. Whilst it was fitted installer left without water and Electricity on one of the hottest night in London. Once finished there was a leak which has affected my downstairs neighbours. After all this I was offered £100 compensation which I haven’t received. Please be aware of Wickes services.

Crawley wickes store are a joke. It has taken 11 weeks to finally finish my kitchen. What compensation did they offer? £175. There is nothing professional about the service. Wrong plans, wrong items sent and delays. A leaking sink for several weeks which has just been resolved. Stay away from these cowboys. Wickes, the installers don’t care about the customer just the money they can get out of you. They blame things on snagging which are clearly design faults. Measurements were incorrect so we could not fit the fridge freezer. They put a door on back to front because apparently the boiler was too big. Clearly a design issue? Needless to say this saga has continued for 11 weeks. I suffer from multiple sclerosis and this whole affair has been very stressful. All wickes can say is we are sorry you are disappointed, we are sorry you are not happy with the service. You read other reviews and you see the same standard reply. We are sorry. Please just do not use wickes. They are not professional, they do not care about the customer. They do care about how much money they can get out of you. I have had enough of wickes. Stay well clear.

The kitchen commenced on 7th October and is still not finished on 12 December. First fitting 75% of the units had to be removed and refitted. Second attempt still had issues. Concerned about what we could see we decided to explore the work we couldn’t initially see. Electrics had to be checked and re done as a result. The hall floor has been damaged along with the drive. The next door neighbours wall has been partially knocked down. There has been a skip on our drive all of this time. We have not been able to use our garage as this is now a Wickes store room. Cumulatively we have spent days waiting for contractors, continuously chasing to find out what is happening. Completely disorganised. The contractors leave your home looking like a building site. Wickes and their contractors do not care about your experience or have any respect for your home. Wickes ask for all the money up front and then you are completely at their mercy. I am seriously concerned how they vet their contractors and the level of due diligence around this.

Wickes charged us £18,000 for a fairly standard kitchen and a further £6,000 for a Bathroom. This is because they charge you the price and then the fitters charge you a second price. In our case the installment fee charged by Wickes was nearly £3000, but that was without the fitters charging massive fees for anything they did. The fitters added a further £4000 to the bill for basically laying a floor, a bit of skimming of the plasterwork and a few electricals and plaumbing. The same happened in respect of the bathroom. There is no estimate, these fitters just turn up and charge what they like. The kitchen is just average size, and the units are bog-standard Wickes kitchen units and the kitchen and bathroom were not in a bad state of repair, indeed the kitchen we previously had was better than the Wickes one. As for the appliances they were the cheapest you could possible buy. The sink had to be replaced after a year, and is cheap and nasty metal that scratches really easily. We also had trouble with deliveries, and my Dad who is a care for my mum who has Alzheimers even asked Wickes if they could not deliver early in the morning, as he often is extremely tired and is often uop at night with my mum. This was a big mistake as virtually every delivery after that was at 7am on the dot, except one delivery that they ran g to say was being delivered but never turned up, despite my parents waiting in for days. In the end the Wickes driver claimed my parents weren't in, which was a lie. The workman also just turn up at 7am, which is often difficult for the elderly and those with heath problems. However the final insult was having to go to the Wickes store numerous times to try and get the VAT back. My mum is now in a wheelchair and it was difficult enough, but was made more difficult by the disgusting attitude of the Wickes staff who realy were not interested. In the end we managed to get some of the VAT back but this was only after numerous trips and phone calls. My advice would be to avoid Wickes at all cost, and to make sure that everything is properly costed up front, so you don't get a massive over inflated bill for extra work. Personally I would not even step foot in Wicked ever again in my life.

Absolutely disgusted with customer service I brought a complete kitchen with appliances from wickes and since it’s been delivered I’ve have had nothing but trouble parts missing parts damaged it has taken 5 attempts to replace a door that has arrived damaged each time having to wait a week each time for it to be replaced. Not good enough. The amount of phone calls ,hanging on for answers customer service not calling back. It has cost me money keep phoning. I even email the MD because I wasn’t getting any help he put me back to customer service. Here we went again. Sheridan’s who were booked to fit work tops not turning up when booked. This whole experience has left me scared I Will Never use wickes for a project again Terrible service.

On reading these reviews I’m so glad the bored “designer” lied to us and went cold on us before we spent any money. We enquired about a whole new bathroom in store and happened to speak with the designer first. He wasn’t professional from the start and tried to palm us off on a colleague. When he realised he’d have to deal with us he rushed it through as quickly as possible, making assumptions that we wanted it to be “as cheap as chips” which wasn’t the case. He advised us of a sale on bathrooms offering 15% off - great. Came out to measure and arranged a design appointment for the end of the week. Then rang to cancel the appointment because he’d double booked - read got a more expensive job in his eyes despite us not actually agreeing a figure. He then lied and told us the sale hadn’t started yet when in fact it’s almost finished. Still yet to receive a callback from him to rearrange. Not that we’re interested now anyway. Cowboy certainly springs to mind!

Ordered flooring from Wickes and arranged delivery date. Took day off work and had joined working on lifting current wooden floor at a cost. No delivery. Lied to numerous times saying it was on its way. They then said it would be Saturday.....again lied constantly throughout the day to find out there courier doesn’t deliver Saturday. I asked to drive to a store that had the floor at my cost to collect an alternative....:nope you can’t do that. They can’t refund as its on a lorry somewhere. Am absolutely gobsmacked how they think it’s acceptable to tell lies and not be honest. Another day required off work waiting. In the meantime I have two kids running around on crappy old floor boards getting splinters in their feet. They do not give a shxt. I will never buy from Wickes again and purchase at your peril. This is not my first incident with them as they dropped paint all over my drive in summer and refused to clean it!

Ordered and paid for an oven fitting kit that was shown online (Hereford) as being in stock and available for click & collect. Drove 40 miles only to be phoned and told item was not available and “must have been a customer return item”. Will not use their unreliable service again. 80 mile round trip wasted

Ordered doors from the Stirling shop the assistant behind the counter was useless we had to show her what we wanted on the computer screen the items came in 2 separate deliveries after i received the first delivery I phoned the store to ask where the rest of my order was i spoke with the same woman who tried to serve us she hadn’t a clue told me it would be delivered following day no explanation then a few hours later it arrived.Delivery drivers were great but wickies really need to get there act together no staff should be on the front counter that have no experience me and my wife both said when we came out of store she could not be bothered with us we spent over £500 on doors this was the second order for that amount these people should realise if we didn’t buy goods they wouldn’t have wages or a job.

The worst company in the world flooded my house having a new bathroom put in fitted it wrong and do not want to take responsibility for it. Please go elsewhere for your bathrooms.

Absolutely shocking design for bathroom meant anyone over 6 feet tall would basically have to go to the loo with their feet in the bath! The fitters tried to rip me off by increasing their additional works by £8000 on the day of installation, (another reputable builder did the additional works for under £1000). Cancelled the fitters but foolishly kept the kitchen and bathroom units and, as I have now gone over the 30 days trying to find a new fitter they refuse to help or refund the completely useless units which I am now buying again for a different supplier. What a total waste of money!
