I ordered a few sweaters as a presents for my family and sent it to Russia. Order took forever to dispatch. Total delivery time from the day of order was 5 weeks. I was fine with it as it is better than not getting it delivered at all. After it was delivered my family reached out to me and sent some photos. One of the sweaters was the wrong color. I was upset and reached out to customer service about my experience. Customer service, the agent with name Olga, said that she is really sorry and asked to sent pictures of the sweater that my family got. I sent it. She said that ti make sure that it is a wrong color I will have to send it AT MY OWN EXPENSE back to England. They will look at the sweater and tell if it is the wrong color. The color that I ordered called "Marble"(brown), the color that I got "Ashes"(grey)[pictures attached]. So I asked my family to put smth grey near the sweater and take a picture. My sister put standard nike sweatpants and took a picture. I sent that as a response to Olga and said that unfortunately, I can't send the sweater back: 1.it is expensive to send it at my own expense for them "to look at the color". 2. It was a gift for Christmas. Olga's response was completely unprofessional and rude: she said that computer monitors (she made some grammar mistakes) are temp to change the color and makes the sweater look grey. She said that I had been sent the Marble color and that I don't see the difference. She also asked very rudely why I sent her a picture of a sweater with grey pants nearby. She said "it is not even a wool". I think it is an absolutely unacceptable customer service that is trying to make you look like a fool. Avoid at any price!

I live in the United States and ordered two sweaters from woolovers on October 24, 2021. One arrived with the top of the package completely slit open ( from customs?) and was not resealed. Luckily, sweater seem to be undamaged. The second sweater was “processed at Langley UK on November 8, 2021“ and as of December 10 has not arrived. In addition, tracking has no updates since the first entry on November 8. I called woolovers TWICE on November 24 and again on November 29 (paying for phone calls from US to UK). Each representative said I “ would receive information in 48 hours “ about the whereabouts of the sweater which apparently has vanished. As of December 10 I have received no follow up from either customer service representative I spoke to. I placed a ThIRD call today December 10 and requested a refund since it is almost 2 months since the missing sweater was ordered. The representative said he is “not authorized to process a refund”. I asked for him to send me an email today confirming that he has forwarded my request for the refund to “refund department“. No email , as I requested, was sent to me or received !!!! In addition to paying for three phone calls from US to UK , I am out $85 for the missing sweater as I have no hope of ever getting a refund from this, in my experience, incompetently run company. Woolovers has the worst customer service I have ever encountered in my life! What a disgrace ! Buy elsewhere…this is not a reputable company !

What the hell do I have to do to get some help ? Currently I am >£100 out of pocket. Waiting for my parents Christmas presents which I cannot give them when I see them this week ( travelling to see them before Christmas because as an NHS worker am working 25/26/27th December ). Very very poor service 🤬. I like these products and have ordered from Woolovers many times over the years but this will be the last time ! ***** SORT THIS OUT *****

Utterly non-responsive, late delivery, didn't include prepaid return label (that I paid for) and now I don't have a return address. They've ignored my emails. Stay far away from them.

There is very little cashmere in their "cashmere merino" knitwear. Despite being essentially just a woollen jumper, the quality is extremely shoddy. Pilled beyond wearing outside the house within weeks. Fell apart at the seams and unwearable inside 9 months. Customer service not interested in standing behind their product. Definitely not worth buying anything from this company.

made in China. "fine british knitwear" is misleading, even dishonest

Cheaply made for the price. Several imperfections apparent upon arrival- two random stitch balls in a different color thread that were easy enough to cut away, but a closer inspection revealed other imperfections in the tight weaving, no chance of a fix. I would have never made the purchase had I known that these were made in China. If I had any reason to believe I'd recoup a decent sum of the purchase price, it would be returned. However, since company is overseas and I'm in US, I'll just wear it or give it away and learn my lesson. Buyers beware!

I ordered 2 items from the Woolover site last week; 1 arrived which was far too large and the wool was harsh, and 1 week later I am still waiting for the other. Not good service and no pre-notification of when to expect to delivery. Not impressive at all.

Why made in China. I know you say it keeps prices lower but the cost of the pollution is a far greater price to pay. Be brave, change your practice to match your views and pride of using British wool.

I ordred two merinos, cashemire articles for 99.00 during promotions, the 1st one arrived today, the second one is not inside, no idea why, I really find the quality awful, looks like Chineese cheap clothes bought in a market for 15-20e, no style, no look, I could not by the way found how to put a review on there site directly, suppose the reviews are fake ! Do not recommend bying with this company ! Very upset !

This is the worst online company I have ever dealt with. I have ordered several sweaters over the years. As a long time customer, I would have expected better customer service. They treated me like a criminal claiming I had placed too many orders and then received refunds. Not So. THEY kept cancelling my orders. I spoke to four different customer service representatives who told me it was my fault. Really? Then why do they keep sending me emails that my orders have been cancelled and cannot give me a straight answer? Now, on my fourth call, I was informed I have been 'blacklisted' and can never order anything from they again. Well, at this point I would never again anyway. BLACKLISTED? For what? I never heard of such a thing. I would not try to order one thing from this lousy company. They just treat you like you are trying to steal from them. I was appalled. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM WOOLOVERS because they will do everything in their power to prevent you from getting any merchandise even a catalog. I received a most charming email that they have cancelled my catalog subscription,. Good. I am finished with this deplorable company. I will conduct my business elsewhere. I would highly recommend that you boycott this business.

Years ago the products were well priced and good quality but now they are over priced and the quality is very poor. I suspect the company has been sold to China. Their advertising is very clever but it is a sham. Be aware!

Lovely jumpers but not well finished. Hole appeared and i contacted customer services. no response at all for a week so filled ina complaint form and Millie in custonemer services sorted it in one day and a replacement is on its way. Beautiful colours but what a pit if quality is deteriorating now that they are made in China. They sell themselves as a quality company and one expects them to be made in Britain.

I have over the years bought many items from Woolovers. In the early yers I was well pleased with the quality and price however in the past year or so I have noticed a deterioration in the quality accompanied by an increase in price. The neck bands on cardigans especially, frequently have to be repaired - not easy when no spare wool is enclosed. Buttons also constantly lose their colour and you are left with a white ring around the edge. I have got used to the pilling - this does disappear after a time. I think it is wrong to describe the Merino and Cashmere items as Cashmere and Merino as the mix is 80% Merino and 20% cashmere. I have with great reluctance made up my mind that I shall no longer be buying from Woolovers.

I bought two merino wool cardigans . I’ve worn each one just once . The first cardigan was not sewn correctly on the neck rib band and had pulled away revealing I caught stitches . The second one has a tiny hole in the front where the thread was weaker . They are not cheap and I was unaware they were not a UK company manufacturing here so I won’t being buying from the any more . I couldn’t get the image to show below .
