“I requested a deep clean of my entire house including basement. to me, this means cleaning everything, dusting everything, moving things to clean under, etc. I was willing to pay for a spotlessly clean house. however, things were not moved around, many things not dusted or even vacuumed or swept. had to have them come back and was told that this maid service didn't do the things I wanted done even though I was very clear about my request and expectations. wouldn't use them again.”
“They were not very professional. From the owner to the cleaning team. Very rude, liars and a complete Ripp off. They only worked for 41 minutes and charged full amount. If you hire this company,be ready to hire someone else to finish the job. This company in Cambridge run by Mickey mouse manager. Matt is a total idiot. Do yourself a favor and don't get involved with this company.”

“They were only supposed to vacuum,dust,mop, and wipe stuff down not move everything around mess with other people's stuff go looking through other people's stuff that isn't there's adjusting everything to make it feel like it's their own house and it's really not they're only here to clean they're not here to adjust everything move everything and mess with everything because it took us several minutes to mess everything back to right way they put food away from my cat like they can't do that leave everything where it is and just dust Clean vacuum and mop and once you're done if you have to move stuff to do those things do it don't do it and then leave it”
“I used the Scarborough branch to which dealing with the office at times was a challenge (language barrier) plus they were late from the set time of the appointment .What should have taken 2 hrs took 2 5 hrs .
Upon arrival they had left my door open and I noticed that things that had been moved were not put back in place .
My bathroom sink was not properly cleaned .My kitchen sink wasn't cleaned My kitchen counter I'm not sure .
Stuff was moved but again no care in the world as to how it was put back .
My cleaning team was 2 very young kids who really had no care in the world regarding the job .
I've spoken with the operator of this office but I have no confidence in the service that provided .
He has offered to fix the issues but I just want a a slight refund .”
“I booked a cleaning for tomorrow June 8th at least 31/2-4weeks ago. They called last Friday and said we’re all set for tomorrow. I said it is not tomorrow it next Sat. the 8th. She apologized and I specifically asked if she was sure they can make it for Sat June 8th & the female (I think Liz) assured me. I also said they could come Friday June 7th & again , she reassured me that they could do Sat & she would call and confirm the day before. Today June 7th I get a call that they can not clean tomorrow (mind you.. this was a big spring clean$$$ and less than 24 hours before the time they were coming!!!). I am beyond upset as I had sustained a back injury & still can not do heavy cleaning at this time!!! I am having company on Sunday so this this extremely upsetting!!! No way to do business!!!”
“Stop!!!!!! I wish I would have listen after I read the reviews . Do not spend ur money ! Horrible customer service over the phone!!! Horrible . For the labor work u are better off getting a 3 year old to clean it up that’s how related the cleaning part was. And then they argue with u over the phone . They also use dirty rags to clean ur counter tops . Please just reach out to another cleaner.”
“Crumbs in front of my apartment door every week my mom makes me clean them up tub not clean shower not cleaned trash not taken out properly and I’m breaking out again just like I used to and you all barge in without knocking to see if I’m home or not just cause the door is unlocked doesn’t matter and throw things away that can be run through a washing machine! “I had hired Molly Maid to do some cleaning for me when I move out.When the appt was made it was for 2 people and 1 hr .All that had to be done was wipe 1 floor off and vacuum 2 rooms.I called to confirm this appt and was told it would be 1 person and 2 to 2 1/2 hrs.I was shocked at how I was spoke to on the phone.I was told that because they dont work on weekends they had to make it worth their time.Thats not what was told to me when I booked.The guy I was taking to was very rude.I hope nobody else uses this service.”
“I asked for a move in clean of our kitchen and two bathrooms which are all very small areas. I had payed for two hours for two people to come clean and when I came home both bathrooms hadn’t been touched. I called and spoke to the manager and she said they told her it took them two hours to clean the kitchen. When I asked if they could come clean the bathrooms I was told they could but I would have to pay for another hour. The manager only offered a $10 discount on an hour of them coming back out to clean the bathrooms and she refused to give me any other kind of refund or discount. DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE.”
“Jill Taylor, 4770 Shady Hollow Road NW, we had two very young "cleaners", a man and a woman. The house was anything BUT clean when we returned. We tipped them $20.00 as we left. When we came back ...no wastebasket in the house was emptied, the kitchen counters were swiped on the front of half of the counters, and when we pulled things out, it was very dusty and dirty. I'm ashamed that I am NOT a deep cleaner, but paying the amount we were charged AND the generous tip prior to the cleaning...I would we will NOT be using Molly-Mess Maid. I'm rather sure you won't air this horrible loss of an expensive appointment that left us a house that desperately needed cleaning. I have emptied all the trash and dusted our bedroom furniture so we won't request another person to clean, but, .... we are done with Molly Maid service.”
“This was our first experiance with having someone come in our house to clean and we will never do it again. We will be spending the day cleaning the mess they left. Our floors on the main level looked horrible, there were cleaning substances left on our bathroom walls and bath mat, one of our toilets had something black all in it, mutiple areas were not dusted or touched at all. These are just a few examples of what was wrong. For over $300 I have to clean my house more then before they came. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS COMPANY!”
“The Team #2 totally cleaned my house today from top to bottom including the stove & oven and refrigerator. they did an amazing job from start to finish. I couldn't believe how clean they got the oven. it was really bad and now it looks like new. Thanks Team #2”
“Don't let their high rates fool you that they do a great job. The two young energetic looking people they sent were anything but. Hired for a top to bottom home cleaning and when I went in after 1.5 hours both were texting on their phones and both were still doing the same room as when they started! I was like really ? When I asked what they had been doing all this time they gave me attitude. I didn't want to seem like now I was trying to skate on the rate so gave them another chance to clean for the remaining 1.5 hours. I asked them to tackle the vacuuming and dusting and they were like don't tell us how to do our job. Excuse me but I am paying you and then we got into it. I should have called the office right then and there but I was so taken aback by them I felt intimidated! When I did call the office after they left I got yessed to death and not a call back to ever address my issues. Look for independent cleaners in your area you don't know who you are going to get through these people.”
“They do not deserve one star they need a 0 star button. I hired them for a move out clean . The place I’m moving out of is not dirty as I’m a tidy person it’s just with two jobs, being a single mom and having to pack into the other place I’m moving into I was not able to clean . These people left the Fridge and freezer exactly how I left it . I sent pictures and left voice messages they told me they can’t clean a fridge that hasn’t been shut off. The stove was shut off they didn’t clean that !! $420 was my estimate by the way but they can’t clean a stove and fridge they left the countertops the same way I left them . The toilet I can tell u they didn’t touch . The bathtub the same everything was an absolute disaster. Imagine being charged $130 an hour and all they did was spill water on the floor, because that wasn’t mopping , stuff was still on the floor that could have easily came up if it was in fact mopped .Worst place I have ever seen in my life. I sent pictures then the representative want to tell me that it’s ok for Molly maids standards !! what happened to customers being right . I’m spending my money and I’m telling them what your workers did was unacceptable. I learnt my lesson anytime you are hiring be there to watch over the workers I was at work so I wasn’t able to be there I trusted them left the keys for them to let themselves in and to do a professional cleaning job . To my surprise I got a professional scan . They did an awful job and all they could say is that it’s up to Molly Maids standards . They should have told me there standards for cleaning is low I would have looked else where .Molly maids west terrible shame on you !”
