Both my husband and myself are over seventy and when we had a delivery of a bed frame there was no offer from the driver to help take the boxes up to the bedroom so we had to struggle to get the boxes open and then carry the bed frame components up the stairs. I am disabled as well but no help from the delivery people whatsoever. Will not order anything from Argos again.

They never have anything in stock. This includes using Click and Collect at Sainsbury's. I tried to order a waterproof sheet for a cot but it wasn't possible for it to be delivered to my local Sainsbury's -- ever, it seems. When I asked in my local Argos store why this was, he said it was because they have limited storage. Do you have any idea how small a bed sheet for a child's cot packs down to? Hardly a space waster. Other times I've tried ordering towels and things, but they didn't have the amount I wanted (and it was a large store), and I found everything in Asda next door instead. This is exactly why people go to Amazon.

I bought a Humax hard drive FVP-5000T recorder that started making a noise, I took it back yesterday 10 miles away as local store had no stock and got a replacement, all good so far. Set it up last night and it’s just as noisy as the last one, so took it back to my local store today for a refund. I was asked where’s the £10 gift voucher you received, as this was 5 months ago when I bought the original I had forgotten all about it. But my main point is I have had to make 2 journeys now totalling 30 odd miles the least Argos could do is wave this £10 , but they have taken it off my Argos card. I normally sing Argos’s praises to everyone always have , but today’s experience has really upset me

New website, hard to move around and you have to navigate about ten different pages just to get to the item you want and that is with using the ACTUAL name of the product

Bought a watch from them and the bracelet was adjusted in-house. Nearly lost an expensive watch due to pins falling out. If they offer to adjust your watch, my advice is not to do it. Get a proper jeweler to adjust it.

Having ordered a product and paying online I arrived at the store to collect it only to be told that it was a damaged item with bits missing it was the only one they had in store and should not have been shown as in stock, they staff were very helpful and tried to locate another one locally but there were no others. Having check myself when I got home I found stock at other stores further away in other counties so I contacted Argos via the live chat asking if they could do a inter store transfer only to be told they can't, I feel let down and shocked that they can't do this. I have dealt with many national companies in similar stock situations and they have bent over backwards to try to help and transferred goods from other stores to keep their customer happy, I would have thought a big company like Argos could do the same but alas not. As a regular Argos customer I wonder if I will use them again, it seems that customer service is not that important

I received some love to shop vouchers for Christmas, unfortunately this lead me to shop at Argos. I thought I would treat myself to a little ring and after standing at the jewellery counter for a fair while and having 2 members of staff behind the counter completely ignore me and then disappear. I then noticed a small sign saying I had to go to the main shop counter for service, on my way across the shop a young employee standing around asked if she could help, after explaining my requirements she just pointed me to the main tills. I then had to queue and when I got to the front 2 members of staff argued over who was going to serve me. I then had to go back to the jewellery where the lady was very unhelpful and rude. I actually ended up buying something comepletely different and had to queue again to pay ( due to the vouchers) the staff that served me were so sore faced and the lady that passed my item to me just dumped it in front of me, stamped my ticket and walked away, it was a large item and she didn’t even ask if I required a bag. Needless to say I shall not return and I am very dissappointed with how far Argos have sunk.

I ordered a set of pots and pans from Argos. Although the delivery arrived on time, one of the pans were missing. I box looked open when it arrived to me. They quickly resolved me issue though.

On ordering the item, the salesperson did not add the takeaway item of the old washing machine to the order and could not update the order without cancelling the item and restart the whole process again. This would have meant a double debit from my account with the refund occurring within 5 to 7 days. It ordered the item because of the relatively short delivery-date of five days. I was called about 7 in the morning (while I was still asleep) and told that I machine could not be delivered for about another three weeks and was offered the 'Do I wish to cancel?' option. Everything seems 'cannot-do' with Argos, not to mention the extended wait time and then about three transfers to the person who 'can deal' with this apparently complex situation. So I just cancel and ordered went to another company which was like a breath-of-fresh air. I won't rub it in by mentioning the name but Argos really needs to get its act together.
