“Waited for food delivery last night 8pm till 9pm.Rang cs was told they dont know what time my food was coming. It never turned up.Rang Asda this morning to be told driver couldnt find my Address!!!!! He could have phoned me!! Absolutely disgusted with this company. Will never ever use again!!!!!!”
“My shopping dident even turn up , rang them and had to convince them he dident deliver so she could change the delivery date , will not use ASDA again”
“Pay online shopping and for it to be delivered because I'm 20 weeks pregnant and we don't drive ... When delivery turn up driver was rude and saying next time he will drive off ,he doesn't have to do this , all because I live on the first floor ,he was upset because there's No lift .... Call Asda customer service and they weren't helpful at all ,I never experience this with other online supermarket order .. will never shop with them again .”
“I went to Birkenhead Asda today with my Granddaughter and spent nearly an hour selecting clothes for the pair of us as we are away in a couple of weeks. When we got to the changing rooms they were locked, when I asked the assistant could they be opened I was told No as they have a sale on! Really surely the idea of a sale is to sell the clothing. I was so disappointed and annoyed that I'd wasted my valuable time selecting the clothes costing £160 and put them on the nearest rail and left. If I'd wanted to buy them without trying them on I would have gone on line! No wonder you've got so many clothes on the sale rail you could have sold some today!”
“ASDA Owlcotes, Pudsey
Arrived at self checkout. Mentioned to assistant I that after payment, I wanted to use the basket to help take items to the car. The basket was confiscated, and I was told I have to buy a bag.
The solution was not to buy a bag, which i thought all retailers were supporting in using less off, but to apply common sense in allowing me to use the basket, which i was going to safely return to the store and place in its rightful place.
The assistant even sniggered when she saw me struggling in picking up and taking the items off the checkout after payment. A trolley was not made available either.
If Asda is serious about reducing use of plastic bags, then perhaps its needs to deliver appropriate customer service training asap. There is no problem with taking the basket out of store at Tesco or Sainbury's, or indeed any of the other retail supermarkets, including Morrisons.
I wont be returning to Asda, anytime soon.”
“I Order a total of 33 items and I'm missing 10 what is a lot, for this experience I'm never going to go back for shopping to Asda because this is absolutely unacceptable, I can understand some missing items but items like lemon, tomatoes, oranges, chicken or bananas unavailable is absolutely ridiculous, plus you have to pay for delivery. It's a bad joke”
“ASDA Owlcotes, Pudsey
It's ridiculous that on reaching the self serve checkout, my hand basket was confiscated when I said I was going to use to transport my items to the car and bring it back. It was told I have to buy a bag and no baskets are allowed out of the store. There appeared to be little application of common sense that I was trying to avoid buying a bag. I even got a snigger from the member of staff when she saw me struggling to hand carry the items.
The solution was not to buy a bag, but to exercise a degree of support in allowing me to use the basket to take the items to the car.
Asda - you need to grow up and demonstrate your intentions to support a reduction of plastic bags.”
“Many times ordering same item as regular buyer ASDA online, every fortnight. For some reason everytime the order always ended up with substitute no matter how early or late when placing order along the weekdays. It was like they do not have monitor stock on time and decided to update the last minute when going through pickings. There was a time where unavailable item came in stock and afterwards of ordering it, in a few days to delivery they substitute the item which again out of stock. (Mostly from ASDA value poultry)
This is supposed to be supermarket chain, don't expect any quality and standard of selected products, items that they picked are either near by date for meats or fresh organic will often look to be poorly.
Only thing is if your item gets damaged, they'll give you free samples and no apologies unless you call out on it.
Perhaps it is best to go out and shop in local stores instead. On the last note, choose other company for less hassle and less queues so they don't charge you 3-4 pounds when ordering on the weekend.”
“Placed and online order for collection, was called 40mins before collection to advise product was no longer available, with no alternative given.
Very bad service.”
“Asda longwell Green bristol have some of the most polite and helpful staff. From the tills to the petrol station, I have found not one person yet to be bad at their customer service. It’s a pleasure to go to this store and never be disappointed. Thankyou Guys!”
“Just picked an order up with click and collect and all my frozen things were defrosted not happy what a waste of money definitely won't be using this again”
“Ive used online service numerous times. its always delivered on time. I have opted not to accept any substitution so cant complain when things are missing. I have also used click and collect. Do not like the fact that you HAVE to have carrier bags at a charge. Come on Asda what is the problem with using paper sacks which can be recycled. Remember the lovely Safeway they always used paper sacks. In this day and age there should be an alternative to carrier bags”
“I placed an online order for some towels, I wanted them delivered to my address as I hadn't really got time to pick them up from store. The towels never turned up but a kettle i never ordered did, along with a delivery note complete with someone else's name and address (data protection breach) I phoned customer services and they were very unhelpful and couldn't understand basic English. They told me to take the kettle back to store, I'd paid delivery as i hadn't got time to go to the store and ended up going at 10pm! I was told i would be refunded for the towels, 4 weeks, a chat to customer services, an email and a message on Twitter and I still don't have my refund. I've been a regular online customer over the years but i'll never use again.”
“They just don’t bring things and don’t tell you about it. The worst online home shopping company I’ve ordered from. I will not be using you again and for anyone looking I wouldn’t recommend them.”
“WOULD GIVE ZERO STARS - DO NOT USE ASDA
Ordered online george - phoned customer service 20 mins later to change size of an item.Woman couldnt understand name, email address or postcode - took 10 mins to get that far.Cant change size, order must be cancelled (3-5 days for money back in bank) then re-ordered.Did this and the idiot cancelled 2nd order not 1st.Back onto customer service - total waste of time.Phoned head office........got put through to the same bunch of half wits in customer service.1st order STILL not cancelled.30 more minutes on the phone and still 3-5 days for all of the money from both orders to go back into account.Told to re-order for a 3rd time in same day - not a snowballs chance.DO NOT USE!!! APPALLING!!! Offered 'goodwill' gesture of £2.95 delivery!! On what?!?!!! THEY CANCELLED THE ORDER!!!!!!!!!!!!”
“DO NOT at any cost take out an ASDA CREDIT CARD. Bad company check out Creation Financial Services and see how bad their reviews are. If asda monitor this site find yourself a good credit card company to partner with.”
“So booked asda delivery for it not to turn up no phone calls nothing this was yesterday. Today is Easter day so no shops open and no food to feed the kids. I did receive an email saying we are sorry we have had to cancel your order, with a link to rebook the shopping. How rude no proper apologies so now I have to wait until Easter Monday to try and do a food shop instead of spending time with the kids.”
“It's consistently bad. 2 hour late delivery. The strangest substitutes ever. Ok so a computer tells the staff what to sub with but it's still people picking it up and agree that things are similar when they aren't. Oh and customer service don't care it's like your talking to a machine don't even say sorry. Worst was delivery driver forcing my neighbour to take in shopping he hadn't ordered as he refused to listen to the old man. Luckily I was just in the process of trying to find my order yet again. Think it's time to try another delivery service.”
“Yet again, ASDA home delivery has failed. Out of 77 items, 16 were not delivered and 3 were substituted. They cannot (or will not) deliver the balance or correct the order. Nor do they give any form of compensation except for free home delivery for the next month. As I will no longer use ASDA, this is of no value whatsoever. I now have to go out shopping, which defeats the whole purpose of home shopping. Try Morrisons, they are excellent!”
