“Stop trying to FORCE us to self service.
I have recently visited an Asda store in Aberdare for the first time in 3 years. I stopped using Asda previously due to the lack of staffed checkouts and the insatiable thirst they have to FORCE us all onto self service. Wow, it was worse than before with only 3 staffed checkouts and long queues to get served. I just left the trolly and went to Lidl instead.
As I left I wanted to fill up with petrol but they have even stopped putting staff in the filling station. Needless to say, I went to a local independent supplier instead.
Asda, are you just trying to drive your customers away? I certainly won't be back, and this shows why Asda are now the only one of the big four supermarkets who are losing market share.

“I was detained by security and staff at one of ASDA stores for allegedly not paying for some goods on the self checkout till. after the distressing situation was sorted and i was wrongly detained i was allowed to leave but before i did leave the manager threatened me THREE times with violence. I have tried to make a complaint and been fobbed off with BS emails addresses. disgraceful company and ZERO respect”
“I ordered Sushi via the web page for nice meal surprise for my wife, On the morning the delivery driver arrived with my stuff, but guess what he told me we I had a substitution, instead of Sushi I got a Prawn Sandwich what are they doing?”
“Always send short date items food is poor quality.They dump the crates at front door and expect you to sort through and carry inside. I was so disappointed in their service I joined Ocado ! What a breath of fresh air they are. Shopping all packed in bags and carry them inside for you. Free six months delivery pass plus incentive money off your orders. Thank you Asda for your shoddy groceries and appalling customer service. I have found a wonderful new shopping experience with OCADO 5 ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️”
“I collected my order and yes I did order clothes in 2 sizes as I wasn’t sure what size to order!! I have tried to fill in the returns form on line but it’s too complicated can I just take the clothes with the delivery label back to the store”

Changed my delivery day on app and still the can't do it call the customer service the said its what it's we will refund you the money they wast my time now I have shop somewhere als . “Purchased out of date meat. Distgusted by the behaviour of the manager at Adsa. Cemetery Rd Bradford. I purchased meat from Asda on 20th July that had a use by date of 23rd. During cooking the smell wasn't right and I also checked the other packs of chicken they to had a bad smell. I returned these on the 22nd of July after coming back from work. The manager said he wasn't obliged to give me a refund. I told him of my cosumer rights and was not happy with his customer care.”

I have an ongoing complaint about ASDA - Tamworth (240604-005991) where I have been banned because I didn't agree with the Store Manager. I have spoken to Asda Customer Services, asking if I can take the matter to the next level as I feel the ban was unjustified. They were no help at all and stated that the Store Managers decision is final. I asked who who is above the Store Manager, to be told they can't give that information. Asda Customer Services are a joke and very unhelpful. They did have an email address but that broke, her words. They can't fix it, company worth millions can't fix an email address. Can't enter the store to resolve the situation, cant get any help from the support desk and they don't have a working email address.
I have also emailed the Store Manager 3 times asking for an update and no response, disgusting people management skills and customer services.

'I have now spoken with George and I am afraid that at this time, the ban will be remaining in place, I have enquired if Home deliveries would still be an option for you so that your daughter can still have the items she is familiar with, George has confirmed that online orders will still be processed for you, but unfortunately, I cannot overturn the ban in relation to the store.'
How DISGUSTING of George, he's taken the incident personally and not as a Store Manager. Hasn't even taken into account my daughters DISABILITY and the need to support her autism.”
“I received a delivery the other day and we had a 24 pack of Vanilla Coke that was badly damaged. The driver told me to discard the damaged ones in the bin and keep the rest and he would take it off my bill. This never happened and now Asda want pictures for an £8.50 refund which I do not have as it was leaking all over my carpet. To say they are very unhelpful and possible the worst company I have dealt with for customer service. Never again will I shop at this place total shambles . They are refusing point blank to offer a refund”
“Asda delivery service is absolutely rubbish. The fruit and vegetables are always past their best and the amount of substitutes is absolutely ridiculous. I have tried to speak to someone about this but with no success. It is happening all the time now and Asda are really going down hill. I have now cancelled my account and will not be using Asda again”
