“Was in my local Asda this evening, paying by cash on self service but there was a problem. Member of staff came straight over to help. She was having trouble trying to sort it and was calling on her earpiece for help.
Another customer was having problem with her till, and needed someone to login, she started off by being rude to the Asda lady helping me. accusing her of standing around, swore at her and insulted her by saying she was nothing as she only works at Asda. Was a vile woman, even threatening me with pointy finger, when i told her to wait her turn and she being out of order
My point is everyday people working in retail receive abuse mainly from entitled lowlifes it is bound to affect them.
Thank you to the staff member who helped me, and for staying calm!”
“Grocery delivery service is appalling. Turns up late all the time and on occasions doesn't turn up at all. No communication and constantly missing items off delivery and being charged for them. Awful in the Swansea area. Avoid and save yourself the stress and hassle!”
“If I could give Asda a 0, I would. My first order was a complete disaster: the delivery driver arrived before my scheduled time slot, while I was not at home. They didn't even attempt to deliver within the agreed time slot and canceled my order without warning, leaving me without food.
The second order was just as frustrating. I booked a delivery between 9-10 pm and received a text saying it would arrive early. By 9:55 pm, nothing had arrived. When I called customer service, I was shocked to hear that my order had been canceled without any notification. Even worse, they offered to reschedule the delivery but required me to pay for my shopping again before receiving a refund for the original payment. This would have left me out of pocket twice.
The service is absolutely disgraceful—unreliable, unprofessional, and a serious disappointment from such a large company.”
“Asda Shirley.solihull. only 2 tills open .while rest of staff just standing about chatting or wandering about the self service robots. Staff rude and not interested. I won't be using this awfull shop again .”
“Budgets constantly cut while expecting colleagues to work the job of 3 people, health and safety corners cut and just a horrible place to work and expensive compared to other places.
My store has 30 year old fridges that leak water all over the shop floors everyday, only 2 wet floor signs in the whole superstore, cupboard doors held on by glue, its okay though they just spent thousands on a one way system causing constant traffic jams.
Looking to work for Asda? don't. Looking to shop at Asda? expensive and gross.”
“We shopped in Asda South Shields on Friday October 25th at lunchtime at the height of chaos as the Asda app was not working. We use scan and go and on arriving at the checkout we needed help to load our shopping and use offers we had available. An assistant called Sarah (a runner perhaps?) came to help us and all the other shoppers as we all needed assistance. We were very impressed with how she handled an extremely stressful situation by remaining calm and efficient. She worked through all the shoppers problems and was very friendly to everyone. Thanks so much for your help Sarah, it was much appreciated.”
“Half of my order is missing this is not good enough.
Just refunding the items 😕 😑 does not rectify this.
Come on Asda i thought you were better than this🙈”
“We ordered a few items of asda we founded out only 16 items didn't come by the time we founded out the asda man's van drove away the next morning I emailed asda and they said they won't give Me a refund bad service never again ...”
“Order is over 3 hours late than booked slot. No communication or help whatsoever, live chat, emails and phone calls all unsuccessful. Absolute joke of a company and a rip off too!”
“Asda must have the worst website in retail business. Paid for groceries for years then suddenly would not accept. Tried again after much anguish , it took it . Its gone too pot borh technology and groceries prices.”
“Ordered children’s tooth brushes & Asda Southampton sent me economy toilet brushes that cost £1.20 each ? Less than the actual price of the toothbrushes ? Why substitute tooth brushes with toilet brushes ??”
“My home shopping wasn’t delivered. Had a message saying the driver was delayed which was ok. But an hour after the shopping still hadn’t arrived I phoned the store in redditch and spoke to home shopping section leader who said the driver cancelled the shopping because no one was home which was rubbish. I don’t know where he tried to deliver it but it to but it wasn’t to me. The section leader wasn’t helpful at all in fact she couldn’t have cared less I think she needs training in customer service skills because she clearly has none at all.”
