“We wanted to print some cakes to celebrate an anniversary of the launch of our company mission statement at our place of work. We tried to pre-order 10 large cakes. The first store we tried said that they couldn't do more than 5 and couldn't order more? We tried another store and they were more helpful and said they would attempt to get 10 and they did. When my college arrived at the store to have them printed she was told that we couldn't use the artwork that we had planned due to their being copyright issues. Despite offering to send an email giving permission from our head office and speaking to myself on the telephone (GM) we were refused. We accepted this and asked to print the copy but without the logo's but were told that we still couldn't use it. My colleague spent 2 hours in the shop trying to find a solution and when I removed the whole text and just type two lines describing why we were celebrating and send it to her while she was there, but because the design resembled the original she refused because the wording of our mission was on there. She said no matter what we sent it to her she wasn't going to do it because it still resembled the original. We ended up buying 10 large un-printed cakes, but were still charged £20 each for them! I have to say that her 'jobsworth' attitude was unhelpful, she didn't want to help find a solution and was extremely unreasonable. In fact when my colleague presented her with the 3rd option she said 'this is a joke and I've had enough now, I've made my decision we aren't doing them'!
We celebrated this anniversary last year and had the cakes printed beautifully. The suggestion to print the cakes came from our head office and it would have been simple to get approval from them to use the logos. She also made it clear that she would ring round the other ASDA's to ensure we couldn't print them there either!! Very disappointing. Thankfully we have found another company that will print them for us today.”
“Ordered a product, sent a text to me to say not gone through and asked me to re order so I did. Paid extra to have delivered next day, as it was urgent, received text to say its on its way and I will receive following morning, van turned up no parcel on van. rang customer service no order gone through, cancelled anyway not worth the hassle. very disappointing!!!”
“Bought some garden furniture and before it was delivered it was reduced £30. Asda won't honour a refund. They haven't called me back about my complaint. I posted an online complaint and got an auto response calling me Nick? Which isn't my name. I'm still awaiting some kind of contact.”
“Went to asda to get white trainers for my daughter. They had 1 pair wrong size no stock according to staff.1 hour to get there and back.Tried to make a complaint by phone and was told that this call would cost me 6 pounds that says it all!! Oh Asda Asda Asda Ahmed.”
“Worse place ever. Got 4 products from cow and gate caused my newborn with diarrhoea and vomiting. They didn’t refund the product and they didn’t pay me £50 to recover the cost of 15-18 nappies a day, paracetamol and other baby fever medicine. They ate rude almost as animal. I will never shop in there again. My baby suffered with a bad rash which I had to get creams for! I stayed up 3 night airing him out. Poor baby couldn’t sleep for 2 weeks feeling uncomfortable. Every time he has a feed within seconds a poo, when he sleeps a poo. His nappies been leaking every time.
This is a nightmare”
“Ordered a grocery shop for evening delivery, received an email stating it would be delivered between 21.22 and 21.32 when it was past 22.00 I called customer service to be informed that my £95 order had been cancelled due to driver availability. No one had contacted to advise of this. Now stuck with no items for my young daughters school packed lunch. Was offered a free 1 month delivery pass as goodwill gesture (£8) total joke. If you want to actually receive your order shop elsewhere!”
“Everytime I order online my order is always wrong because they never look for the product properly in the shop this is the worst experience of online shopping I've had in my life Tesco's Morrisons and Sainsbury's are all better than ASDA the worst online shop in the world”
“i ordered my shopping with asda and paid an additional AMOUNT for the delievery slot,it never came and i havent still received my refund or an email from asda, feels like a big scam,i would never use asda and will advise anyone not to because their service is very unnacceptable and they dont hold customers at the heart of their business .”
“Good staff, just the heart of the manager Stuart harness is big and he cannot steal any costomer ,but he he will not forgive the punishment of a year ,but the forgive him.thaks I requested u”
“Ordered two items on line with the Asda click and collect facility, made a time slot at the selected store, paid in full, went to collect to find that one of the items were out of stock, now I have to wait for a refund. Why are items advertised on the web site, when being out of stock. I will not be using Asda's click and collect facility again.”
“So we just got a delivery from Asda It was late by 10 minutes which we didn't mind too much and he apologised.
But then he didn't even have any bags for the items so i was made to pick every single item out of the basket and he didn’t even ask if i wanted help to take them all out or even apologised he just stood there and watched. I found the delivery person just very lazy overall. I did pay for the bags and i found it bad customer service that he didn't even help or give bags considering he was already late.”
“Ordered patio set, table , 4 chairs, 4 x cushions & parasol. It arrived with only 2 cushions, trying to speak to someone about this is proving very difficult.
Managed to get through to an advisor but had trouble connecting in English language and ended conversation without a result, this is the first & the last time I will shop with Asda home”
“I have mostly used Asda for online shopping no more, absolutely useless in fulfilling orders no matter what time delivery slot is I thought they were open 24hrs. I gave them benefit of ordering again out of order for £90+ only £70+ was delivered. I’m afraid I shall use Tesco or Sainsbury’s in future. Need to get sorted Asda or maybe you are making “Brexit” you excuse?”
“Rubbish, just booked a delivery but I've cancelled, out of stock. Absolutely ridiculous how do they expect customers to order there shopping when loads of stuff are out of stock.”
“I will NEVER EVER use your online service again while you choose to use that excuse of a courier company Yodel i ordered a trampoline on line and paid for a delivery day which was 30/4/19 true to form along comes the email telling me the item was delivered at 11 15 am this morning which it did not , trying to contact this company is virtually impossible so now i am out of pocket for the item and delivery charge and no way of contacting this so called delivery company which managed again thi year to rank worst courier company in the UK not surprising”
“Waited for food delivery last night 8pm till 9pm.Rang cs was told they dont know what time my food was coming. It never turned up.Rang Asda this morning to be told driver couldnt find my Address!!!!! He could have phoned me!! Absolutely disgusted with this company. Will never ever use again!!!!!!”
“My shopping dident even turn up , rang them and had to convince them he dident deliver so she could change the delivery date , will not use ASDA again”
“Pay online shopping and for it to be delivered because I'm 20 weeks pregnant and we don't drive ... When delivery turn up driver was rude and saying next time he will drive off ,he doesn't have to do this , all because I live on the first floor ,he was upset because there's No lift .... Call Asda customer service and they weren't helpful at all ,I never experience this with other online supermarket order .. will never shop with them again .”
“I went to Birkenhead Asda today with my Granddaughter and spent nearly an hour selecting clothes for the pair of us as we are away in a couple of weeks. When we got to the changing rooms they were locked, when I asked the assistant could they be opened I was told No as they have a sale on! Really surely the idea of a sale is to sell the clothing. I was so disappointed and annoyed that I'd wasted my valuable time selecting the clothes costing £160 and put them on the nearest rail and left. If I'd wanted to buy them without trying them on I would have gone on line! No wonder you've got so many clothes on the sale rail you could have sold some today!”
