“customer service must alien for ASDA, holding A list then put listed items into shopping bag, it's a job tooo brainy for most of them, because they manage to get wrong all the time.”
“I brought a product for my daughter as a Christmas present she was very upset to find the toy was not working. I paid in self checkout and I had to wait approximately 15 minutes to get staff assistance . This is a disgrace!”
“Shocking customer service in Asda. Staff members do not care for my problems. When I ask them for help they say they are too busy when its their job to help!!!”
“Asda Cumbernauld is the worst supermarket I've ever come across. Mainly due to the treatment of customers but also lack of basic stock on many occasions.Customers seem to be an inconvenience. Especially if you shop after 10pm at night I understand they have to re stock but I don't understand why they bother staying opened when it obviously infuriates the staff. I gave it a last Chance this week. Went to pick up packs of Diet Coke cans and there was a young guy putting stock out. He had unfortunately put the large stock container across aisle which meant Customers couldn't get past. I politely asked if I could get passed to reach the cans of coke. He sighed, gave me a look that let me know how annoying I was and Reluctantly moved it. No sorry, no 'of course its no problem' nothing! Don't open if you don't want customers!! We pay the same amount of money as customers who shop during the day.
The Saturday before, again staff chatting to one another and swearing loud enough that I and my child could hear it. Also watched a man complain to customer service about attitude of some of the younger staff at drinks section. She was at best civil to him but after the man walked away another staff member at customer service asked what was wrong. They both then rolled their eyes after she told her 'He was moaning about staff'
Well that's me I'm done!! I have never in my 46 years came across a shop (especially a big concern like Asda/Walmart) who treat there customers with such disdain. Must be great working there mind you. The self service girl who came to confirm age ID for me other night was eating a sausage roll and couldn't really speak as her mouth was full. She then informed me that she'd come back and pass it for me when I had finished shopping. She wasn't busy there was no one else waiting on her so I asked her why she couldn't just do it while she was here. She had no answer and reluctantly done what was needed to let me finish and get home. Trying to get hold of them between chats with other staff members is bloody hard enough so there's no way I was letting her go. Don't bother phoning Asda house to complain because they make all the right noises but nothing changes. Tesco obviously take staff training seriously. I'm
starting to wonder if Asda actually train their staff at all.”
