“Items that were .on offer not available. One of the offer items unavailable for third time!
Wrong houmous sent for third time and returned to driver.
Not good enough when relying on home deliveries due to being housebound.”
“I had to wait 50 mins for my groceries to be brought out to me., there was 3 cars in front of me and I scanned the machine. They knew that there was a queue it This is unaceptable for the time I had to wait I could have done the shop myself. Not impressed will not be using this service again”
“I did not receive any update from ASDA after my online purchase was made. When I contacted their customer service, I was told they had delivered but no one received it. They didn't even bother to call the mobile number I had indicated in the delivery form, and they didn't even send me an email about it. When I asked if they can reschedule, they told me to log back into my account to choose a new delivery schedule. When I logged back in, they had cancelled my order. So I had to go through the ordering process again. Such an inconvinient process.”
“Most of my orders over the past 16 months have had stuff missing or substituted. The excuse being that the pickers pick the goods at 3 a.m. in the morning (even though my delivery is always between 6 p.m. - 8 p.m. in the evening) and that the shelves aren't re-stocked by 3 a.m. so I either get poor quality fresh produce or none at all, so then I have to go elsewhere to purchase what I ordered from Asda. I never ever get the fish I order, it is ALWAYS substituted for smoked fish. Not satisfied with Asda at all. Very bad management system that allows this to continually happen. This week I ordered 3 jumbo spring onions but instead I got 3 sad looking normal sized spring onions (and I still got the smoked fish instead of the normal fish I ordered). Appalling service. Abysmal.”
“Always used to pop in to store but recently started using online ordering!
Got our shopping on Saturday 30 minutes late which wasn't a problem. As my wife had ordered I just signed it off trusting everything was there. More than half our shopping wasn't delivered and now we battling with Asda to get back what we already paid for!
Has really peed me off!
I've lost trust in online ordering and will now pop in stores to shop but maybe not Asda next time!!!”
“I shop in Asda evry day,I was at checkout and asked for cash back the cashier and another member of staff were busy talking and she forgot about cash back and told me she would have to start again and rescan, and told me that a cash machine was outside I said it didn't matter and went to kiosk and brought something else low and behold they were talking to and I stood there while they finished their conversation .”
“I like ordering my food online as it is a big help but this is the second time in a space of 2 weeks where quite a few of my groceries have been missing. Although the support line is helpful it's always feels an inconvenience to do this. I think I might change suppliers now.”
“Shopped with them for 17 months - no probs though two-hour slots got more unpredictable and substitutions/missing items commoner. Delivery men were lovely but ASDA's Customer "Service" non-existent.
Discovered last week that my order had been cancelled. ASDA don't want customers contacting them, apart from the call-centre operatives in South Africa, most of whom speak limited English and have no power to do anything but tell you what's on their screen, which is what's on yours but after much effort got through to HQ in Leeds
There rude, unpleasant females told me a string of lies - my card had been rejected because I didn't have enough money in my account - funny that the bank has several times rung us to say we're keeping too much in it - because my bank was too slow in replying to requests for payment - I suspect both statements are libellous - or because there was a computer problem that was delaying deliveries. Eventually I got a ( patently insincere) apology but the same cancellation happened twice more, by which time I'd set up accounts with two other chains, neither of whichhad any problem with the same card/bank account.
I told ASDA we're both pensioners, I'm mobility-impaired and my husband, in his late 80s, can't do much. ASDA were happy to leave us with no food over a weekend. To hell with ASDA and with their CEO, Andy Clarke.”
“I was shopping at Asda Kilmarnock thursday 27th august....and wanting to have a look at the books ....but couldn't get near them as two girls...(.why it took two I don't know.)....were stacking the book shelves...they were sitting on the floor with the trolley full of books taking up the rest of the isle.. nobody could get past them....they knew I was there but completely ignored me and didn't move.....so that's another customer lost ....they don't seem to have an email address......so I decided to write here ...so everyone can see...years ago the customer came first not now....not good enough Asda....”
