“The worst company ever don't order from grub hub I have contacted there customer service multiple times as I have instructions on delivery and it's been left on the ground outside and driverd are rude”

“I have had several bad experiences with grubHub. 1. Placed an order the Driver delivered the wrong Oder, I guess someone else received my order. I contacted grubHub the only thing they said was I’m sorry you had a bad experience. 2. Placed an order it was taken to the wrong address and dropped off in front of an apartment complex leasing office. Contacted grubHub same response I apologize and sorry you had a bad experience. I will never use their services again. They are incompetent.”

“I called to reverse a charge of $57 for a $16 pizza from Pizza Hut and I was told that it was all up front and that they would not reverse my charges. They would give me a $25 discount. For another order that I will never use. Because I totally refuse to get ripped off my grub up again. This is a joke. I'm on a fixed budget. They just hit my charge card for $57 for a $16 pizza. What's going on with this world? All that the pizza was delivered cold.I had to heat it up to eat it”

“2nd time in a row using Grubhub! We are ten minutes away from restaurant. We watched driver all over our small town and obviously visit areas for substantial length of time. An hour later our food arrived ice cold and nasty. Grubhub offered $5 credit for a $60 plus order. God knows what was done to food before it arrived. Entire order thrown away and Grubhub account deleted. BEWARE! Yuk! Nasty! Use restaurant delivery or DOORDASH!”

“I ordered delivery from Boudin Bakery in Walnut Creek, CA, and the driver dropped off the order outside my door, took a photo, and sent it to my phone. I went to the door and saw him walk away thru the door viewer, opened the door...and the order was gone. The driver picked it back up and walked away with it! He was near the elevator down the hall a short ways, and I called out and said that's my order, you have the right apartment (I thought he thought he had the wrong apartment number), he walked back with the order and said some random person in the building tried to take my order. I thought that was very odd, and said, oh, really, and just took the order from him. When he took the photo, there was no straw in the milkshake, but when he handed me the order, there was a straw in the milkshake and the security seals on the bag were open! It was all very, very creepy. GrubHub gave me a $5 credit, but I won't be ordering from GH again. This was way too creepy. You buzz people like that inside your building, and allow them to walk up right outside your door. You have to trust them a little bit to do that, and that's what I did, and that weirdo stole my order and was gonna drink my shake before he even got on the elevator. THAT is creepy. GH needs to vet their drivers better.”

“GRUBHUB IS STRAIGHT TRASH. I ORDERED FOOD FROM A RESTAURANT 10 MINUTES AWAY. THEY GAVE THE ORDER TO A DRIVER THAT WAS MORE THAN A HOUR AWAY. THEN WHEN I CALLED TO CANCEL THEY DIDN'T WANT TO REFUND MY MONEY. THIS HAS HAPPENED THREE TIMES. I WILL NOT ORDER FROM THEM AGAIN. GRUBHUB NEEDS TO BE CLOSED PERMANENTLY‼️”

“Worst deliver customer service ever and if they don’t deliver your food, they don’t credit you! There’s no real refunds - I’m also convinced the support aren’t even real people. Dinally deleted my profile account last night after a last straw - literally recieved a sandwich instead of two full meals”

“I accidentally ordered to the incorrect address. I caught the mistake however right after I placed the order. Since there is no phone number, I was forced to have to go to the online chat. I got the address corrected, but they said the new address was too far away and they would have to cancel my order. I said that was fine and asked for my original Visa card to be refunded that I had paid with. I was told several times that they do not give refunds, only Grubhub credits. This is not right. I will use the credit but then never again! I will bad mouth Grubhub until the end! Jimbo H. Creve Coeur Mo.”

“Not only do they up charge the items that you're ordering then they want to charge you a service fee and a delivery fee and tip your driver. the whole your meal is short and missing items and they don't refund you or nothing I am so overusing this app”

“Food was delivered to wrong address. Driver didn't bother to check - just dropped the bag at the building next door. Had to go find based on the picture sent to me saying "delivered". No answer if you try to contact online, and no one to answer their customer service phone line. Grub hub is a rotten delivery service.....and they tacked on a tip for the driver plus fees. DO NOT USE!”

“Tonight I had an incredibly frustrating experience with GRUB Hub that left me questioning their commitment to customer satisfaction. I placed an order totaling over $188, expecting a seamless and efficient service. Instead, I was met with disappointment and aggravation. To my dismay, GRUB Hub canceled my order. While such situations can happen, what followed was an infuriating and unacceptable handling of the situation. Rather than promptly crediting my account with the exact amount debited, GRUB Hub offered me a refund that would take several days to process. This approach is entirely inadequate, especially considering the amount of money involved. In situations like this, the least GRUB Hub could do is provide an immediate credit to my account so I can place another order without delay. Waiting several days for a refund is not only inconvenient but also suggests a lack of empathy for the customer's immediate needs. It's as if GRUB Hub prioritizes their financial protocols over providing timely and satisfactory resolutions to their customers. The entire ordeal left a sour taste in my mouth, and I am deeply disappointed with GRUB Hub's handling of the situation. Their failure to promptly rectify their mistake and ensure customer satisfaction is a glaring flaw in their service. I expected better from such a well-known platform, but unfortunately, GRUB Hub fell flat. This experience has made me reconsider using GRUB Hub in the future, and I would advise others to think twice before relying on them for their meal delivery needs. The lack of immediate support and the delay in refunding a significant amount of money is simply unacceptable. GRUB Hub needs to seriously reevaluate their customer service policies to avoid alienating more customers like myself. So in conclusion, $188 gone, hungry teenagers, and no food as I promised for their get-together. Thanks Grub hub!”

“I ordered pizza hut through grubhub Amazon prime to be told it would be here no later than 6:08. Then I got another text message stating that no later than 6:44. Then I hit the track button when it still wasn’t here and it said it would be delivered by 7:14. Once we finally got the order the pizza was ice cold. I also found out that GrubHub charges more than what Pizza Hut charges plus they may deliver for free but they are charging a service fee as well as automatically add a 20% tip that you can change. So excluding the tip GrubHub charged me $36.77 where had I picked it up from Pizza Hut it would have cost me $26.75 so there is a $10.02 difference. Pictures included. Horrible!!!”

“So I got a GrubHub gift card. Yay me right?! No. I've never used GrubHub before. So I upload my gift card amount on my GrubHub app account. I Tried to make an order from the grub hub app. And I had zero options to choose from in my area. I also went thru the website. I live in a small town, so I say well maybe they aren't so popular here, so I check the city of PHX AZ. Only to find a very small handful of places I never eat at. I am Very disappointed with the lack of places and options and the navigation. No grocery stores. Tried to contact customer service for help. I reset my phone and re-downloaded the app before having the online customer service chat. T conversation also ended up being of zero help. I'm to the point of beyond frustrated with the lack of options and help. After using my account balance (once I figure out if I can even use it) I will NEVER come to this site again and you can bet I will be telling everyone I know about my experience and lack the of options to order from GrubHub is. Thanks for nothing. In my opinion I give zero stars. What a waste of money and time. Zero convenience. Rant over.”
