Although extremely easy to use as the Air Ram K9 is very light compared to other big name cleaners it is extremely flimsy. When receiving the vacuum I expressed concerns to my husband about how long it would last. 7 weeks down the line the pivot neck has jammed and I am unable to use this. The design is very poor. Gtech, after a number of emails have sent me a new part and assure me this will resolve the problem. Time will tell. It is clear from numerous threads on the internet this is a common problem. They also expect the customer to take apart the vacuum and remove the battery to install the new part. Truly shoddy service given they are aware of the issue. I seriously would advise anyone to think twice about purchasing one of these. Very disappointed.

I have a GTech lawnmower I’ve owned for about 2 years. It’s good when grass is shortish and dry but it seems their designers refuse to believe it rains in the uk! The grass refuses to enter the collection box, clogs the underside and eventually falls back in clumps onto the lawn 😡. Don’t even bother to try on shortest cut when grass is wet as the blade will clog and stall. 😡. Poor.

The gtech has hardly any to no suction. I didn't notice it till after but the adverts are always picking light stuff up like loo roll or polystyrene balls. I was so disappointed. I ended up buying a dyson and used it straight after the gtech and still managed to fill my dyson. All I saw from that was how much dirt the gtech was missing on every hoover. Please if your gonna spend hundreds go for a dyson there lifetime garuntee for parts and servicing makes it worth it on its own

Avoid this item 2 months after purchase had to have a replacement part as was unable to release handle to lower the chassis. Then the left wheel fell off managed to get a replacement as still under warranty. 2 months later wheel fell off again, this is obviously a design fault as it is the left wheel each time and the on/off switch is on the left and the mechanism to release the handle. Very disappointed with this product it is not robust enough and seems cheap and tacky

This lawnmower was delivered in less than 24hours. My wife, who is disable, essay home and the deliver person was more than helpful and polite. I cannot wait to test the mower if it's anything like the air ram, multi tool and hedge trimmer I will certainly not be disappointed

I have bought several items from Gtech, all of which have been splendid. The vacuum cleaner is a godsend to an older user with arthritis. Lightweight, very effective and the light at the front of the cleaner is a retro spark of genius for failing eyesight.

Have a Gtech Airram It is very tacky. A wheel just dropped off and I’ve discovered it is held in place by flimsy pieces of plastic! Also, it does not pick up as well as my Henry. My advice : AVOID

Bought hedge trimmer plus branch cutter, after changing over to the branch cutter which was an easy task, I now cannot for the life of me get the branch cutter off, tried everything, then asked a neighbour who has muscles like a tree branch could he remove it with his big hand pressure, no luck, just when I needed the trimmer most it let me down.

I bought the hedge trimmer bundle the HT20 trimmer the ST20 spare battery plus the branch cutter on 28th of April 2017 for £188 I’ve had it 2years and 26 days and it’s only had lite use over two seasons. I tried to use it and it wouldn’t cut, it had lost its torque. I contacted gtech customer services and spoke to a lovely person called Lucy who explained that I’d needed a complete new blade replacement but the 2 year warranty is out of date by 26 days so it’ll cost £39.99. Surely their goods should last longer than 2 seasons of lite work! Very poor I’ve now contacted the citizens advice consumer helpline who are now looking into my problem.

My daughter purchased air ram multi package at a cost of almost three hundred pounds for me to use as I do her housework. I had read the glowing reviews and watched all the boastful television ads and I must say I was really disappointed. The actual air ram is an overrated carpet sweeper basically just pushes dirt around, does not get into corners or edges, does not cope with long pile carpet or rugs, same for the handheld. These machines are not for any kind of deep cleaning. After one month the air ram broke down completely and was returned to Argos who had no hesitation and gave my daughter a full refund. She has purchased a new Dyson and this suits me as now her floors are debris free and clean.I can understand a lot of buyers are completely satisfied with these items but in my opinion they are for occasional use and certainly not for a family or heavy use areas.

Got a Gtech air ram. Poor performance compared to Dyson products, use it to clean garage floor now Also purchased a HT20 cordless hedge trimmer. Fell to pieces in 9 months After many phone calls, received a replacement for warranty. Guess what, seized up in 9 months. I shall see if I can get another replacement It’s a shame as the product is a good hedge trimmer, but lacking strong parts for the type of environment it’s used in

Appalling Customer Service I have just received my cleaner. I ordered both and the car care kit which cost £50. The car kit consists of 3 pieces of plastic which I consider to be worth £10 not £50. I got in touch with the company and the attitude of (Phillip) was completely unacceptable and bordering on rude. Also the upright cleaner does not work on carpet with a long pile it just jams up.

The handle on the air ram became stuck in the upright position after less than 3 months use. On contacting customer service a disinterested advisor informed me that a part would be dispatched to me to repair it but it was out of stock and would be delivered in 3 weeks. I was advised that IF I needed to use the vacuum in the meantime to turn the handle around but she wasn't sure if this would work, who first need to use a vacuum cleaner for 3weeks? On the day if promised delivery I received an email informing me that there was a further 10 days delay. Problem is they have you over a barrel as what else can I do but wait? Wouldn't buy another even though I like the machine generally. Maybe I will have the warranty extended for a month.. not likely !

For us it's almost perfect. No need to repeat all of the previous good points. What would make it perfect would be the extension tube being telescopic and a more robust dust tool that also could swivel.

Biggest waste of money, would not entertain it, we have had two the mark one and mark two k9, you spend more time messing about emptying and cleaning filters than you do actually hoovering up, and the charging system is hopeless, if this light flashes you do this, if that light flashes you do this, and the customer service center havn't a clue, each person tells you something different everytime you speak to them. The only reason we have had two is because the first one broke and we got the second half price, not an exchange, most other companies would have just swapped it, but not g-tech,half price. Would not give them one star.
