Can't understand why everyone thinks John Lewis has great customer service. Argos is a lot better from my experience!

Before buying a washer fr John Lewis, check T&C, can save yourself extremely bad customer service experience and time wasted

I cannot fault the service offered by this company. all communications were very simple and promises were met without fail. I would definitely use them again.

I have always been a faithful John Lewis customer, but lately the level of customer service has been appalling. I can't ever get anyone to help me whether it's over the phone or in the store. I just called their phone line and waited on hold for over 40 minutes. Someone finally answered and disconnected my call! They are always out of stock on items I want and i feel like the brand is loosing its credibility. What a shame!

I normally receive really good service from John Lewis whether it's in store or online, but my last online order wasn't great. I ordered some Christmas decorations and when they were delivered, a wreath I bought was all broken. It looked more like it was broken to start with then if it happened in transit. I just wish someone checked the items before the shipped. I will still shop with them again and hope that I have better luck.

I did my wedding registry with John Lewis as it's one of my favourite stores. Many of our friends and family sent us varying items that we picked out. John Lewis always had our items available and had all the stuff I wanted for the kitchen and house. We received tons of vouchers as well which we have used to buy things we didn't already get. Everything arrived in a timely manner and in perfect condition. They wrap all their delicate items with extreme caution and to be perfectly protected. Made my life a lot easier and the whole process was enjoyable. They also give you free hot drink and scone vouchers for the John Lewis Cafe when you start a registry so the hubs and I enjoyed that too!

I treid to purchase a track suit for my Mother in Laws birthday in the store, but our local John Lewis didn't have her size. I found her size easily online and got free delivery. My order was delivered so fast and I had more then enough to make it for her birthday. I was really happy with the whole process and will definitely shop online with them again.

John Lewis delivers on time and with items in perfect condition! I ordered several very breakable wall lights and the they were delivered wrapped up safely. John Lewis always offers great customer service and you know you are getting what you pay for. Would definitely order online again with them.

i had to contact customer service to report a fault with my cinema surround system i had problem resolved within a few minutes very professional customer service which is very rare nowadays 10 out of 10 Joe graham - Unbeatable.co.uk

I would never EVER recommend this store to anyone!!!! If I could have given it less than one star I would have! Actually setting up the gift list was really easy but the problem started when the gift list actually opened. 40% of the items that were purchased were converted to gift vouchers because John Lewis doesn´t have the technology to count their stock!!! And to make matters worse the store never informed me that the items were not available and they said it was my fault that I complied my list early, but for some unknown reason the store was able to inform me when items were out of stock before the gift list was opened. Please please do not use this store! All you need to add to the stress of your big day is worrying about John Lewis´s ability to stock their store! The staff are not helpful at all and they put you in a difficult position with your guests. Nancy - Unbeatable.co.uk
