Picked the product and asked for more information from a very busy cashier and nothing was too much trouble. He looked up all the measurements etc on line and was extremely pleasant and patient

Beautifully laid out store with wide aisles and easy access to the products I wish to view. Courteous staff who are always on hand to give advice when required and price match products should you be aware of it being cheaper elsewhere.

waiting for a microwave to be delivered, the courier firstly couldn't find the address then said it was refused by a person ive never heard of !and that it would be delivered the next day ,didn't hear anything so decided to give courier company a call, was told that the address was incomplete!!! and that the parcel would be delivered on Tuesday. Gave John Lewis Customer service a call, they assured me that the delivery address was correct, was sorry but the microwave would be redelivered on Tuesday because of the bank holiday, that's no good to me, I wanted the microwave for the weekend, couldn't pick up a replacement from the store until the other one is returned, was any of this my fault!NO. feel very let down by all parties involved, that will teach me for being loyal to John Lewis!why are you not using your own transport, next time I will try Argos same day delivery.

Found items on website at competitive prices. Ordered without any problems. Kept informed about delivery times and arrived ahead of schedule after they called to check if it was OK to arrive earlier than planned. Really helpful delivery men who took items round to the back of the house to store items in conservatory until they were needed with the kitchen refit.

I was buying shoes for my 9 year old two days before school started and was stressed but the staff in John Lewis kids shoe dept, Glasgow went the extra mile to find shoes and even order online for me to collect when the size wasn't available in store Many thanks

Customer service is appalling. Long winded, slow, inefficient, uncaring. The only way to get help with a problem is to bombard senior management with emails and keep your fingers crossed that they can be bothered to sort any problem. Types of problems so far- wrong information on their own website and therefore they fit an electric hob instead of an induction hob. It took 6 weeks to sort. Delivering a washing machine with a door that wouldn't open and wanted to repair it not replace it. Now taking 2 weeks for an oven to turn up and yet again, no-one wants to sort the problem. Their lack of communication is astounding. These problems all occurred to my neighbour who is over 80 and vulnerable. I always end up having to sort it for her.
