“What is this? You can't bring your wheels down to get tyres fitted to them? What absolute lunatic, corporate, stupid.... no words. Bye bye, always were a bit of an idiot company, and Halfords are probably worse.”

“Had a set of tyres fitted by the mobile van. After 20 miles had to stop due to severe knocking only to find 3 out of 5 wheel nuts were not torqued up 2 full turns by hand. Absolutely disgusting service”

“Wanted £1300 for full exhaust and catalytic converter. Took car to our local garage, middle part of exhaust and 2 new shock absorbers £629. Catalytic converter was fine.”

“Title: Terrible Experience at National Tyre Bangor Garage I recently scheduled an MOT appointment at National Tyre Bangor Garage, but upon arrival, I was informed that the test couldn't be conducted because the MOT tester was off sick. What's worse, no one bothered to inform me beforehand. Instead of offering a feasible alternative, they proposed an impractical solution and then brushed me off. The whole experience reeks of bad management and poor customer care. I strongly advise against using this center.”

“have used your Macclesfield depot for quite a while now along with my family. I was there on Saturday 30th March at about 11.30, I was with my 10 year old daughter, and was there to arrange to get 2 new tyres fitted. When I arrived there was a delivery van unloading tyres, the manager, I presume he is the manager as he is the older guy who usually sits in the office taking payments and bookings, this manager was shouting and swearing at either the staff or the delivery guy. He was clearly upset with something and was using language such as "f#!@*%÷ order, f#!@*%÷ return, f#!@ it" and much more. He was also very aggressive in his behaviour. People walking past could also hear and see this because they were looking over from a few feet away. The young lads working there and the delivery guy did not say a word and just carried on moving tyres. There was also, i presume a customer sat in a car right next to him on the forecourt who looked very embarrassed. My daughter heard all this which I do not appreciate and I am disgusted with. The manager then bounced into the office and came outside and got into a car, he was so angry and annoyed he clearly did not even see me and my daughter stood there on the pavement, as he walked past he was still swearing to himself and I heard him say "f#@!*%÷ wa#@!*" my daughter also heard this which again I am really annoyed and disgusted with. He then moved the car forward, another car from the forecourt drove out and he put the car back then went inside, I was back in my car at this point but he was still muttering as his mouth and arms were still going. Needless to say I did not book my car in, this manager, employee is a disgrace and needs speaking to, not only for the language used in front of me and my daughter but for treating other staff and human beings like that. I will now be taking my business elsewhere along with the rest of my family and friends, this might not be much in the big scheme of things but it is the public that keep businesses like yours going and that man has lost you money due to his disgusting aggressive behaviour. He is clearly a bully and if I was on my own that day I would have told him so. I would like to hear from you as to how you are going to deal with this before I consider placing a review on Trustpilot and Google. As you can see I emailed customer services days ago but they have not even had the decency to acknowledge my email never mind address the incident!!!”

“I had 2 new tyres and was charged for taking my old tyres away £5 + vat i wasn't given the option to have them back i live around the corner from a tip and could of saved £5 + vat other than thinking im made of money they did a good job . Maybe ask the question and then people won't be disappointed as I was .”

“Paid online for 2 tyres and paid to have a time slot to fit the tyres . waited 1hr20 minutes after my slot time which cost me £20 . but when they got around to fitting the tyres they found that they where not in stock after they said they were .so I had to have different tyres at an extra cost of £20 .so I paid £40 extra and didn’t get what I wanted at the time I booked it not going to use this firm again just big con artists”

“Under any circumstances DO NOT LEAVE your car at this garage... left my car for tyres change... make several damages to my alloys, wheels are not balanced properly, damaged TPMS sensors. Complain several times to garage manager, but till now nothing was fixed and they don't see anything is wrong... Never, ever service on that place... waste of time and money”

“No call no show, even after the original tyres I ordered where out of stock and they tried to charge me the same price for worse tyres. Phoned the following day to see when the person would show to be told it could now be up to 4 days later. Even tho I pick 2 other preferred fitting dates. Poor management misleading help team.”

“I wouldn’t even of awarded 1 star but only way to write a review. So no stars Absolutely awful experience with this company. Ordered 2 tyres online. Selected mobile fitting giving 2 dates incase one wasn’t then available as per there instructions. To then be emailed following day to say they are unable to provide the mobile fitting and don’t know exactly when they will be available next. Did I want refund or book into a local branch for fitting. Tried to phone. , on hold for ages to then be cut off. Next time went to an answer machine Phoned next day and hurray got to speak to someone who then booked me into local fitter. Sorted. Or so I thought to then receive an email to say they have supply problem now for the tyres I paid for so have issued a refund. 😡. Oh and it can take up to 10 days to be credited back to your card. So no tyres and out of pocket for up to 10 days.”

“Sent a formal complaint by email to national tyres and Halfords. Never even replied to my email. My order number was 7870030 My family were put at risk by poor workman ship. Will wait till payment as sir try to take there payments and refuse!!”

“WENT AND HAD 2 NEW TYRES FITTED AT AUTOCARE UNIT 2A IPSWICH TRADE CENTRE COMMERCIAL ROAD IPSWICH ON 30TH DECEMBER 2023. BROUGHT TYRES OFF TYRE SHOPPER TO BE FITTED AT AUTOCARE IPSWICH. THE MANAGER WAS NOT HELPFULL AT ALL HE IS THE CRAPIEST MANAGER IVE COME ACROSS FOR A LONG TIME IN A WELL KNOWN GARAGE. HE DIDNT WANT TO FIT THEM HE TRYED EVERY ANGLE TO NOT FIT THEM AND TRY TO GIVE REFUND BACK. I WANTED THE TWO NEW TYRES FITTED TO FRONT OF CAR HE WASNT HAPPY WITH THAT ALSO. ALL FITTED AND PLACED ON CAR WHERE I WANTED THEM GOING. THE MANAGER OF THAT DEPOT HAS STOPPED ME EVER GOING THERE AGAIN. HIS CUSTOMER SKILLS WERE THE WORST IVE EVER SEEN. HE WAS VERY OBSTRUCTIVE AS HE DIDNT WANT TO DO THE WORK. WHY DOES TYRE SHOPPER USE AUTOCARE AT COMMERCIAL ROAD THAT SITE SHOULD BE SHUT DOWN. WELL IT WILL BE AS NEW HOUSING GOING THERE EVENTUALLY. EXCELLENT NEWS IM HEARING. NO RECIEPT ISSUED EVEN THOU I WAS AT DEPOT. HE IS A RUDE AND LAZY MANAGER. HE DIDNT WANT TO FIT TYRE SHOPPER TYRES. HE WOULD RATHER TYRE SHOPPER LOSE MONEY ON REFUND. SINCE HALFORDS TAKEN GARAGES OVER TERRIBLE SERVICE. WELL THATS HALFORDS FOR YOU.”

“Made an appointment to have 3 new tyres.. turned up on time and they had no idea I was bringing the car in. I didn’t leave my car as they said because they didn’t know I was coming in ? I would have to leave the car all day! Told them to forget it.. they were not in the least bit bothered or interested Now been fitted by another company.. never again will I go to them”

“I took my car in for new tyres on the 15th of September. They failed to reattach my wheel correctly and despite me taking it back multiple times failed to diagnose that as the problem. My wheel was in the process of vibrating off my car. Incredibly dangerous situation. When they eventually admitted the problem I thought the stress was over. Not so. The customer complaints team have been horrendous and deeply stressful to deal with. I've been forced to threaten legal action (not an empty threat, I was in the process of filling in the documents) in order to get funds, which they forced me to incur, returned. I was also left contemplating reporting my car stolen in order to get them to tell me where my car was and what they'd done to it after they stopped responding to my calls, texts or emails. This is still ongoing! I couldn't, in all good conscience, recommend this company to anyone for anything.”

“3.5 hours after the scheduled appointment time they'd yet to make a start on fitting 4 new tyres to my car. No communication or apology and took some time to get my £800 back from them. AVOID”
