I cannot believe the phone call I Just had with with Primrose.uk . The person knew nothing whats so ever about the products being sold or that they even sold them . they said they will send a email to the person who is the supplier of what I purchased but also noted if I dont hear nothing back its because they have no info to give me .. Bad enough we was sent somebody else's item that we had to send back ,and when receiving our order came with no paper work. Also we ordered by phone wow very confusing to them lol. Be warned this is just a holding bay where they struggle to contact the supplier , be warned .

Used to be a good place to buy from, now non-existent 'customer service', never reply to emails and on hold on phone but never get to speak to anyone, after 3 weeks chasing order finally get half of it - continued to chase the other pre-order item as no longer showing on site and was due beginning August to be told someone was going to let me know it won't be delivered... disgusting attitude from what was once a good place to buy from, certainly no trust in them any longer still waiting for refund!

Terrible customer service. Poor quality stock. Complete inability to do what they'll say they'll do. How hard is it to collect faulty items a week after notification?

I wish I could leave a zero star my experience has been so bad. Firstly I received an email requesting an extra £3 for delivery on top of the standard charge of £4.99 & additional charge of £10 for delivery to N.Ireland I then received an e mail on 18th June stating that my items had been despatched and another on the same day stating they had been shipped with a link attached to track the shipment. This indicated that the items were in Bristol at 3:33pm and would be shipped overnight. I received a text from the courier DX to say I could expect delivery on 19th June. I took a day off work to receive the delivery. After a day of emailing Primrose and checking the tracking - the status never changed. I rang DX this morning only to be told that they had only received the paper work but not the shipment and that the text was an automated one. Why on earth send a text to a customer giving a delivery date when the item hasn't even been received ! It got worse !!...when I rang Primrose this morning I was told my items are out of stock. So how were they despatched & shipped if they didn't exist. This company has lied to me. I am totally disgusted. I have cancelled my order and if I don't receive full refund in 3-5 working days as promised I will take the matter further. Please do not use this company.

A company in decline. Their customer service and couriers are really letting them down. Ordered a product next day delivery, arrived 3 days later. Customer service agents repeatedly lied about when the delivery would arrive (was given 5 different delivery times over 2 days) and had to take time off work to receive the (non-arriving goods) several times. The supervisor Matt was callous and very unapologetic, and a bit rude. Primrose will not take responsibility for their couriers or delays. Its a shame, I've spent thousands with them over the last few years, but I'll never use them again

Paid for next day delivery by Paypal, but nothing arrived. Primrose say they haven't had the payment but Paypal are sure they have! Couldn't get to speak to anyone about a refund. Unhelpful over phone, when they answer eventually. AVOID.

Buyer beware DO NOT BUY FROM THEM Both plants in my order were of substandard quality and I've tried to report this to the seller. The pink currant has an aphid infestation on arrival The gooseberry has white fungus I've tried reporting this to the seller and spent 3 times nearly an hour on the phone. Every time I got to the "you are next in line" it went to put me back at the end of the queue.... from number 18 to 26 in line. I also sent them an inquiry through their website requesting a call-back on the 31st of May... a whole week ago without as much as an udpate or what they want me to do... I have now reported this to my credit card company for compensation.

Absolutely appalling company Delivered an incorrect item, 7 days later no refund and failed to collect despite organising to do so on multiple occasions Disorganised, dishonest Avoid at all costs

Ordered a tree in March and still not delivered. Almost impossible to get hold of via phone or email and hopeless when you do. Awful communication of expected delivery or updates on delays. Quick to take more than £150 from me though. Terrible, terrible company.

Ordered an outdoor table and 6 chairs. They were delivered on time, however the majority of items were damaged (including the table). Rung up to query, and it took me over 25 minutes to get through to someone. When I eventually got through, I asked for a refund to which they agreed, and said that they'd come and collect the items on the next day. On the next day the delivery driver came to collect, however refused to take the items because he had been told it was just one box not three. I then rang up Primrose to question this, it took me another 25 minutes to get through to someone, and they apologised, because one of their staff had specified the incorrect number of boxes to be picked up. Now left with all this furniture, over a bank holiday weekend. Very frustrating, won't be a returning customer, would be cautious purchasing through Primrose.

Primrose charged me for a mister, which was not delivered after 3 weeks. When I called three weeks after ordering, the order was sent out within a couple of days. Unfortunately I the courier did not inform me where they left the delivery and I can only assume that it was left in the rubbish bin (something they did before), which was emptied, whilst I was away. I contacted the delivery service who could not help and told me to contact Primrose. I contacted Primrose to receive an automated email (below). This was 11 days ago and I haven't had any response yet. Not good.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY All items turned up broken and unusable. Impossible to receive a response or refund. Five unanswered emails and three calls upwards of 30 minutes on hold. They are essentially robbing consumers and getting away with it. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM PRIMROSE

Absolutely appalling service. Ordered & charged for next day delivery. 16 days after order I received a package - contained only part of my order - unfortunately missing the major & most expensive component (£140's worth missing). Package part undone. Bizarrely I received someone else's order in addition to my part order - bit of their order is missing. If you-re missing a whole load of canopy hooks & cleats somewhere in Aylesbury, then I'm your gal. Perhaps you have my 3m stainless steel pole with eyebolts? Held 22 mins on phone, emailed, held another 20 mins. on phone today. Wondering if Primrose is a bit like the Marie Celeste - just about floating, but clearly totally unmanned. Really fed up & disappointed - & going on reviews, I'm not the only one! My advice? Order from someone else. Peeved I even had to give one star.

Avoid - avoid - avoid Worst company ever! Please stay clear. Ordered a garden furniture set for £400, arrived faulty. Promised to send a replacement. Sent the wrong parts and won’t accept a return of goods and won’t refund. Only solution is we will send the right parts this time. Unacceptable

Placed order 2nd April. Over a month later and having made 4 attempts to contact them and rearrange deliver it has still not turned up. An online business that can’t deliver items is a company going out of business soon
