Have placed £1500 worth of orders over the last 3-4 months. Quite a few of these were express orders which arrived 1-2 WEEKS later than the date given. I let this slide on the first few orders that were late but the last order I placed was over a week late meaning I didn't have the items for the date I needed them for. I contacted Shein to ask for a refund of the £12 express delivery or for it to be credited to my Shein wallet as they didn't provide the service I paid extra for. They have refused based on the fact they have to pay for delivery whether it is late or not. So they are willing to lose a customer that has spent over £1500 with them since February this year over the sake of £12.

It should not take 2 months for a refund. Shein received my items back and I still have not received my refund.

They don't refund as promised. You keep chasing them and it's difficult to get a refund.

Spent $100 got 9 dresses, one arrived stained, the rest were either fallig apart or so thin you knew you were only getting one or two wears out of them. DON NOT RECOMMEND. They will not let you return items after 45 days of shipping even though I had received them less than a month ago.

I bought 13 items from shein on delivery I noticed that 1 item was missing I've been try to report with no luck. I wrote on their Facebook page since they don't have contact where u can contact should you have problems bt still no luck So if you wanna buy from shein just know that anything is possible

Beware of Hidden charges in the form of a 'Handling Fee', which was not shown on my order confirmation, yet I am now being charged around £30 for ordering a couple of items in different sizes. I had not used the site before and was unsure whether they were true to size due to mixed reviews, so I wanted to try on and see what fit best. As the delivery takes a long time to arrive I thought I would order the item in 2 sizes and I am now being told there is a charge for this. I sent some items back and noticed my refund amount was incorrect and customer service have explained that there was a charge due to ordering an item in two sizes. I was shocked as this is not on my order confirmation anywhere.

It’s been years that I do online shopping and I have never had an awful experience like I had with Shein!! They are a bunch of thieves that have no clue how to be trustworthy and work properly.one of the dresses that I have ordered was terribly stinky(which shows that they don’t follow the hygiene restrictions at all! Who knows where were those clothes before!) and The shoe was way more bigger than what I have ordered, and I have sent them proofs and photos of What I have ordered and what I have received that was completely different and unpleasant! They were so rude, unprofessional and unable to manage the issue and mistake that they have caused. They did anything to escape their responsibilities and deny their mistakes. Even with proofs and photos! They just wanted to kill time and ignore their mistake! They don’t speak a proper English as well, other than being rude and incompetent! Please don’t waste your time and money on these BS apps. What a shame! 🤦🏻‍♀️😖😣😩🤬

I am livid! the cost to ship a return back to you is R1500.00!!!! which is practically the same price I paid for the entire order! I knew there was a catch somewhere with SHEIN! Never again and I am about to give you a "wonderful" review! This is ludicrous!

Beware I bought items from Shein over $400 but half of my order were made with cheap materials. I returned them, they acknowledged receipt but kept tossing me about my refund. I used afterpay for the purchase which I already made part payment my refund could have covered the rest of the items and money I owe afterpay but Shein has still not refunded the money to my original payment method which is afterpay.

Beware the handling fee! I just returned some items to Shein and noticed that I didn't get a full refund. They pointed to their terms and conditions which refer to deducting postage and a 'handling fee' from the refund and confirmed that I had been charged a £53 handling fee so be aware of this when ordering!

SHEIN Canada has no concept of customer service. I am trying to obtain assistance in returning an order that arrived last week and yet my order history is empty so I have nothing to choose in order to get my return label. The phone number is out of order and the chat bot is absolutely useless. I will NEVER order from them again and if my situation is not rectified I will escalate my action.

I am from South Africa ,my refund was done on the 04 of April according to Shein ,but until today its not reflecting in my bank…Shein is a crap..Pls BEAWARE…They just take your money and when you need a refund…They keep on sending one msg..’Sorry for the inconvenience…your refund has been paid…please be patient or contact your bank’…I’ve been waiting for my money up to day…R3400 (just imagine)Do not start taking risk with your money..

This was my first order. It took longer than stated for my order to arrive, but nothing to bad. The clothes are ok for the prices. They aren’t the greatest quality but will look nice for at least 6mths to a year for the most part. Perfect for a special event, birthday, holiday, special occasion or something to find affordable cute outfits. My main issue came with the items I returned because I didn’t like it on or couldn’t fit it. My sent back package has been delivered to them for days according to usps tracking, however their website says they are still waiting for the items. They have not started my return or refund or anything in multiple days because the status still says awaiting items. Each time I contact customer service in chat (which is a nightmare it took 3 days to find out how or get a response because they don’t answer emails) all they did was say it’s received and kept showing me usps tracking screenshots saying it’s been delivered. I’m like, yea but why doesn’t my account on your website show it’s been delivered. The processing hasn’t moved forward to any of the steps because it’s been days now and you still show you don’t have the items…? They literally just repeat the same thing without acknowledging what you’re saying or what the problem is. There is no resolution. It’s been 2 weeks and it’s basically like the items I mailed back are lost within their company and no one cares. I feel robbed, I should have researched their location before I worked with this company. I’ve had numerous horrible experiences with companies based in China. It’s like they literally dare you to sue them knowing that it’s easier to take the lost than fight for your money back. It’s beyond unethical. The practices of this company are violently frustrating to say the least. I personally don’t think it’s worth it to purchase from this company unless you are ok with potentially taking a loss on the amount that you spend.

The cheap and affordable prices pulls you in to buy...our delivery kept saying its on the way but never came! its been past more than 10days "on the road to delivery". Not recommending this site to anyone! Not getting any support to track on this as delivery as well.

They said my package could be tracked through buffalo Now it shows that its been delivered, but i NEVER got it, between shein and buffalo no one knows where my package is so now i paid all that money and never got my package??? THATS NOT FAIR!!!! So i dont think i'll buy from them any time soon, cause who knows if i'll ever get my package

I purchased some clothes from Shein for the first time. I bought holiday clothes for myself and my daughter and, although the quality wasn't great, it was fine for holiday. I was pleased with the delivery times and when I needed to return a few items that didn't fit the return was free and easy. I then placed another order and this time I wanted to try some of their other ranges, including work wear to see if they were also ok. The quality was awful and therefore I had to return them. I followed the same procedure to return and thought all went well. The emails I received from Shein all said we are pleased to tell you we have processed your return and you will receive your refund amount in the next 3 days. Fine I thought. But when I looked at the amounts something didn't add up. I had been charged more than the value of the clothes I had kept. £41 more!! I asked Shein why I had been charged an additional £41 and they said it was a 'handling fee'! I explained that although a 'handling fee' was mentioned on one occasion in the small print the advertising of 'free returns' was misleading at best and there was no way that I as a customer would have any way of knowing how much the 'handling fee' might be and it was not reasonable to charge such a high amount. Customer service did not respond to any of those points and just quoted the one sentence of the small print which said 'handling fee' and told me to have a nice day! So I would not recommend buying from these people as they may just steal your money like they did to me.
