“Went into your Llandudno branch today with a pair of boots that are 11 weeks old. You can tell by the soles they have hardly been worn. The sales person in there said they could not exchange them as they have been worn! Of course they've been worn....oh my dayz. I didn't even want an exchange I had a receipt and wanted a refund. The sales person couldn't care less and was more interested counting coins into the till. Very rude. Won't be going in there again and have contacted customer services.”

“I purchased a pair of shoes from Shoe Zone Wembley in February, and before the end of March, they have already fallen apart. The quality is so poor that it is truly disappointing. How can you justify selling such low quality products without any sense of responsibility?”

“Bought 2 pairs of shoes on buy one get 2nd pair free both lasted about three weeks holes in bottoms near enough fell apart absolutely waste of money steer clear of this offer as these shoes badly fitting and only last for maximum three weeks”

“I purchased a pair of walking shoes /trainers online..I am a size 7 and have purchased others shoes from shoe zone and always am a size 7.However when I attempted to put them on I could not even get my foot into them in fact they were probably two inches short of the foot and definitely NOT a UK size 7 more like a UK size 5!!!I think it would be helpful if shoe zone would let customers know if there is a specific shoe which comes up very very small so that customers are aware and prevent customers having to return the items.”

“ordered shoes sat buy one get one free next day delivery didn't come till 3 days later when come sent wrong order emailed customer services not helpful just sent out normal response letter went to local shop in bitterne lady was really helpful and sorted out the problem quickly”

“Why have shoezone no security, as in security guards, cctv, or beep modules? Young girls are left on there own to lock up and put takings in safe. Todays low life drug feulled society is easy takings for shops with no security!! When crimes occur, the company should be bankrupted with legitimate health and safety claims!!”

“I bought a pair of shoes from Shoezone store for £29.99 in November 2024 By January the soles are now completely worn out on the outside and the inside. Unwearable now. They hurt my feet badly now and I get wet socks from walking on rainy pavements, due to holes in the bottom. Really poor quality”

“Purchased a pair of men’s fur lined boots from your Kidderminster store . They seemed quite comfortable when I tried them on , it was only when I went for a walk in them that they absolutely destroyed the heels of my feet in fact I had to take them off on the way back and walk precariously back to my car .decided to take them back to the shop only to be met by a rude arrogant woman who refused to allow me to try on a bigger size and said I could only exchange them for the same size. Do you train your staff to be rude to your customers as I have read to many reviews complaining about your rude staff . Never buy from shoezone again . Not surprised your closing .”

“Diabolical quality. Sizing is not correct they were so narrow and crippled me. Threw them away and would never buy their rubbish plastic boots again. My riend has a foot 2 sizes smaller and they fit her. I e-mailed customer service and they agreed that sometimes shoe size is not correct. Great lol”

“Worst manager, I have ever seen in Gloucester Eastgate store. She wasn't only rude but also uninterested in giving any good customer experience and had attitude problem. I don't thing so, shoe zone offer the price and quality that you can't find anywhere else and this is interesting to know that a manager behaved in such a rude manner with a customer so that they wouldn't come back to shop. One more thing is when I went to the counter to ask about the price because I was unsure rather than checking the price on the system she behaved very awkwardly and said "she don't know, and check on the shelf otherwise she doesn't know" Tbh I've never had this experience in any UK stores. So unprofessional!”

“I need to comment after seeing the post from the 'Shoe Zone worker' claiming the comments are fake. I experienced the exact same thing! My daughter wore the shoes to school for about 2 months, the bottom part in both shoes have massive holes in them. Since the rest of the shoes were still in good condition, I asked the shop if they offered a repair service because it felt wasteful to throw them away. The saleslady told me it was 'wear and tear' and there was nothing they could do. She added, 'What do you expect for a £15 pair of shoes?' For comparison, my daughter has a pair of boots she wore in Year 6 for about a year, and they are still in perfect condition. So yes, I do expect a pair of shoes to last longer than two months! PS - It doesn't allow me to upload photo!”

“I went into the Llandudno shop today - the woman working there is absolutely horrible. There was no sign to say dogs aren’t allowed (if there is I didn’t see it) and so I walked in with my dogs. The man said no dogs allowed, which is fine. My kids had ice lolly’s and we needed shoes for my 3 year old so I asked them to wait outside while I got some shoes for her to try. I was genuinely trying to be considerate, I wanted to buy from your shop without her coming in with the lolly and dripping it. I got 2 sizes of the same shoe, my daughter tried them on near the front door and one pair fit perfect. She didn’t want to take them off so I took the smaller pair to the till and said “can I pay for these, my daughter is wearing the ones we are keeping though”. The man from before was there and a woman with blonde hair in her 50s. She was clearly angry that I had let my daughter keep the shoes I wanted to buy on and said no, I would have to bring the exact ones I want to the till. I said “ok, but she has an ice lolly, is that ok?” And she snapped that it wasn’t ok and I would have to get someone to hold the Lolly. I can’t tell you how aggressive and nasty she was with me during this exchange, I was really surprised because it was so over the top for the situation. She was talking to me like I was an idiot and she was raising her voice angrily. I said to her she needed to calm down, she then burst out laughing and denied being aggressive. She said she has to shout loudly because she’s deaf? (Is this even true?) Even though she hadn’t been shouting prior to this when she was talking to her colleague. Anyway, I left without buying the shoes because she was so hostile. As I left she sarcastically said “have a nice day”. I said she had in fact ruined my day, she snickered with her colleague. My husband later returned to get the shoes and she told him she was only trying to check that I had chosen the right size shoe to fit my child? This is nonsense, no shoe shop has ever tried to verify I was buying the right size for my own child. Her insinuation during the initial exchange was that I was doing something suspicious like stealing. I had no issue with what she needed me to do, it was her manner that was shocking. I just wanted to double check about the lolly and she bit my head off. Anyway I have now looked at previous reviews for this shop and it looks like she has form for this. When will you do something about this horrible member of staff? It’s such a shame, because your shoes are lovely and affordable which is why my husband came back. You have lovely products, but awful staff.”

“Every time I buy a pair of shoes from this store the insoles seem to fall out literally after a few days of wearing them, they don`t seem to glue them in!.. I have a pair of trainers, literally a few months down the line the insoles are knackered and even the lining underneath has started to come out of the shoe! They are very poorly made.”
