Very bad experience with the company sent dress back never get refund. Never order anything from them.

Been waiting for my order update to change to delivered so I could return. Nothings changed on the website so I’ve contacted silk Fred to be told that I have had the item over 14 days so can not return. Very disappointed as never had a problem previously so not had a need to contact customer services, which has turned out to be poor. They just keep repeating I’ve had the item over 14 days. Disappointed to have lost £65

Refused to refund an unworn item that I returned that had a few hairs stuck to it. Wouldn't mind so much but they weren't even my dogs hairs!! Any bits could have easily been removed by a lint roller. Dodgy way to make money and fleece your customers!!

Ridiculous returns policy. Great clothes and styles just don't expect to get refunded when you return anything! Over 4weeks now!

Really stupid returns policy. Couldn’t cancel the item once I’d ordered it. Waited for it to arrive, to then return it straight away(and had to pay to return it). Silkfred acknowledged it had been returned on 13th march. But refund hasn’t been processed still, on the 8th working day later. Will probably be another 2 weeks till I see that refund. Annoying when the dress itself wasn’t cheap, and when it arrived had a smell as if it had been worn already. Won’t be buying from here again.

Appalling service. If you want to keep the item then fine; however in order to return I’ve had to chase for a code as not showing on the app as an option for the items purchased. Returned to them on 7/3/24, received the following day, partial refund received only after chasing on the 19/3/24 and still chasing for the remainder. Customer service staff helpful but you have to do all the work. Just beware.

The quality of the garments was incredibly poor, ill fitting and sizes wrong. Such a shame as I previously bought something nice. Beware of the brand! Returns limited to 2 weeks and no discretion leaving me with 3 useless garments (can’t even give them away!) costing £100s

Awful returns policy and poor quality clothing. They operate a 14 day return policy, despite industry standard being 28. The clothing is not the quality you’d expect for what you’re paying. I would recommend everyone avoids shopping here.

I returned a dress I did not wear and have been refused a refund, the seller claiming there are marks on the dress. I couldn’t see them at first as they are barely visible and were not made by me, when the dress arrived it was not nicely folded and had clearly been tried on by someone else before me. I feel ripped off! I we I’ll never use silk Fred again and will encourage my friends not to either!

Shocking return policy I bought a £130 dress sent it back with the merchandise label still attached to the dress & because the ribbon was cut off between the arms & shoulder they wouldn’t refund me & said they were sending it back even though they knew I hadn’t worn it. Never recommend this company

wful return policy and poor customer service. Bought same dress in 3 different sizes as currently pregnant and no idea what size I would be. Missed the return window and contacted customer service to see if there was an option for me to return 2 of the dresses for store credit as I knew I went over the return policy. Absolutely no understanding or discussion, simply no you're over the window nothing we can do. Asked for case the be escalated and was just told no. I get that from cheap places but really surprised at how inflexible they were - even when I offered to accept store credit -I don't see how they lose from that option as they would still have my money, i just wouldn't have 2 dresses that don't fit. Dresses also arrived at different times, again cutting into their short return policy.

Hi there, I am really sorry to read you are disappointed. Unfortunately due to a return not being put through on your account within 14 days of delivery we aren't able to accept your return. I can see your order was 35 days old when you contacted. We do state online a return does need to be requested within14 days, you then have a further 14 days to return the item. Very disappointed the Dress was very poor quality and thin it was not cheap. So I sent it back and 2months later still no refund despite emailing them 3 time, to get the same response every-time (takes up to 10 days to get my refund) which I am way past

Blouse is pretty. fit is not similar to photos. The arms are very narrow. The bust area does not allow for any breasts at all. The sleeves are so tight, and I have very thin arms. Love always pretty. The length of the shirt is long enough to tuck in. Would not recommend this shirt.

I ordered 2 garments from SilkFred and purchased the next day delivery as I needed them for the following evening. I was sent 2 delivery documents via email that stated 2 garments and 1 delivery. The following day I received one garment and the other was missing. I contacted customer service to be told that I purchased next day delivery on only one garment and was told at checkout that the other was a standard delivery. Obviously because I wanted both garments I wouldn't have purchased them if this was the case and has anyone ever heard of anything so ludicrous as to buying next day delivery on just 1 item when you're purchasing more than 1. I spoke with 3 customer service agents, the first one who cut off our conversation followed by another 2 with similar demeanor. I would never use this company again as they are fraudulent. There was no attempt to show any discretion at this and this was just told repeatedly that it was only next day delivery on 1 item. Avoid at all costs and save your money.

Hi there, I am really sorry to read this. Please be assured we are not a fraudulent company. As a website for over 900 independent brands, not all of the brands offer next day delivery. At checkout you do receive a shipping option for each individual item, you must select next day delivery for each item, however some items will only be available on standard delivery. Please never purchase from them! Horrible returns process. I followed all the steps to return and my package was sent back to my address with no refund. I contact customer service and the returns from SilkFred generated had the incorrect address on it. I was then asked to do the same process again with the correct address. I was then informed that they provided the incorrect address again. Horrible customer service and returns process. Please do not risk ordering from them.

Refused return of an item despite it being extremely poor quality. SilkFred takes no responsibility for selling independent retailers items as well as their own, you may as well be buying from Ebay. I paid £45 for something that probably cost £2 to make in China and feel very ripped off. Will not be using again and would not recommend.

Hi there, I am sorry to read this. I have taken a look into your order and can see that your return doesn't show as back with us yet. As you are unable to provide your proof of postage, we are not able to track this and find out where the item is. There is a chance this could have been lost in transit and if it has been, you would need to make a claim with Anpost. Poor customer service and poor quality. Ordered some dresses for a ball, they were awful when they arrived, fabric was horrible and they were expensive! Not at all worth the £66+ for each dress! Didn’t realize the returns period was 14 days and my daughter had been very poorly so was quite distracted. Presumed the returns period would be 28 days as most places are online, when my baby was better I tried to return the item and was unable to. Explained this via their customer service online chat but they refused to refund then £130 on two dresses that I’m now stuck with. It’s quite a considerable amount of money and I feel extenuating circumstances. I will never purchase from Silk Fred again and would highly recommend if anyone does they look at the returns period and look elsewhere for much better quality dresses at a fraction of the price! I ended up buying my dress from Bohoo for £28. Far superior quality and service. Also always purchase from ASOS and never have had any issues with them! Returns policy is also fab! I understand there is a 14 days return policy but I think in certain circumstances a little decent customer service would go a long way.
