I live in Australia and was looking for a particular jacket which was on this site I bought at a good price had some add ons due to proving authenticity and postage which I was happy to pay. I did look at other products with the same process I could have bought brand new so there are some issues but if you want a rare piece of clothing this site was good.

Ok where to begin? It started out good I am actually a seller on there, I didn't have a sale for awhile on there then I had 3 back to back exciting. Everything went smoothly I got a couple more sales fairly quickly the all of a sudden nothing. No traffic on my page, no likes nothing, they kept asking me to drop my prices when I finally did I sold again, I usually went with their price suggestions so I thought that was odd. Then no more sales for mabye a month or so, and then when I would go to list something every bag was coming back as not being able to be authenticated but they would take the entire 48 hours or longer to come back with that decision. I had my bags authenticated it was just weird I had never done anything wrong never had a complaint then I started to get mad and wanted to know why they weren't listing my items, I think it was because I never bought on their site, and I did not they are too overpriced , they arn't very knowledgable about vintage handbags any brand Then I had weird things happening on my page I couldn't recieve messages or submit them, My listings would disappear, I finally had enough and pulled what little listings they let me have off of there. I was in a chat with someone to resolve the issure and he never came back to the chat SO I emailed directly not through customer chat, and i was pretty vocal, I threatened to sue because they broke a contract they have a duty of care to me as a client. Long story short nothing was ever resolved they cost me sales when they blocked me fromt the chatroom. There was something wrong with my site and they were taking care of it in the meantime I had 2 accepted offers and a possible third with the possability of about $600 profit. I did however go back to selling with them. I never closed my account then one day I started to list again I listed 5 bags back to back all of them accepted some of them didn't even go for review. It took me a very long time to get a sale and when i did I kept getting told I had to link it to my bank account I already had, I never cancelled my log in I just simply didn't list with them for a couple weeks, then i sell a bag so Imsupposed to verify my payment they were going to send a link but they had the wrong email address that one was a very old one that I hadn't used in over 10 years but they are the ones that put that trough and I filled out the page requesting a change of email address was supposed to hear back within 48hrs, nothing problem not resolved. So I submitted another one waited the amount of time they said sill nothing. I was chatting with support who had no knowledge of how to do thier job. It was getting very frustrating. I never knew other people were having the same problems as me I thought I was the only one. The last straw was when I sold a Louis Vuitton Papillion and they sent me a picture of the inside when it got to thier site and apparantly it had a huge mark on the inside.I still as confused as to what went on . My buyer cancelled they are mailing me the bag. That was it I will no longer sell or buy on Vestiar. I am actually trying to seek out people that have had simiar experience or some who had had a similar experienIce . They affected my livelihood and shutting me down for a day doesn't help. If anyone has actually taken the time to read this ( I know it's long so thank you) and has had similar experiences or even different but where Vestiaire is abusing their power and being unethical can you please reach out to me if possible? even if its on this platform It would be greatly appreciated.

I have purchased 2 pairs of Doc Martens, they arrived with authentication tag, delivery was within the stated time, communication was fabulous, I even received photos of slight imperfections in one of the pairs with the offer of a refund if I didn't want to proceed. I purchased both pairs and am so happy with purchases.I won't hesitate to buy from Vestiaire Collective again.

Very bad customer service and they have… Very bad customer service and they have serious problems addressing the interface and other issues on their app and site. They NEVER reply to mails and their chat takes at least 5 hours to reply. Unacceptable fees that are about 5-15% of the articles. They charge BOTH the sellers AND buyers! Not recommended Tip for consumers: really disappointing interface and service They charge BOTH the sellers AND buyers! Products used: refunds take a loooong time, items ship whenever the seller feels like it. Many sellers cancel on sales without notice. users are often blocked from chats without explanation. They charge BOTH the sellers AND buyers!

There are a lot of people on Vestiaire who don't pick up their parcels, it is so frustrating and contacting Vestiaire's customer service is useless, they tell you to be patient, apparently it is really rare (which they tell you all the time) that the parcel if not picked up will be returned to you and you should contact the buyer through Vestiaire chat, well you can try, but often they simply ghost you. Well, I had that happen now several times (how is that for rare?) with Evri your parcel usually gets back to you in 2 to 3 months after you sent it, sometimes longer, so you might get your summer dress back in autumn and in a parcel that was battered in the Hermes system, or kicked around in the parcel shops. During that time you would have sold it somewhere else. The "buyer" gets the money back and plays the same game with somebody else, Vestiaire claims that they do something against people who don't pick up their parcels, I have to see that happening, as I went on a forum and people shared the initials and the pickup shops of the people, and some seem to do the "I don't pickup and claim my money back" as a hobby and continue to do it. My silk summer dress is at the parcel shop since the 6th, today is the 21st, I have repeatedly tried to contact the buyer, no response, no pickup. Maybe I get it back before it is time for winter coats. I wonder to how many more people the buyer will do this? As a seller, I have to send in 5 days (regardless if they are bank holidays etc) the buyer then has 10 days to pick up, as I said, if the buyer does not pick up, it eventually comes back to you, but then it is not the right season for it anymore. It would be nice if there was some protection for sellers as well, if I buy anything, of course I pick up. I am honestly not why anybody would do this? I can only hope that Vestiaire takes as long to give those people the money back as it takes us to get the items back.

I had a really good purchasing experience! The seller was quick to ship to Vestiaire for authentication, and then they promptly forwarded it on to me once it passed all the checks. The turnout time was quicker than originally quoted and the item was perfect!

When in the blazing hell will you do anything against the people who have items sent to pickup shops but do not pick up? I now have 7 (in words SEVEN) items I have sent over a month ago, apparently being returned to me, I contacted you, your "customer support" (what a joke) tells me to wait until they are back and then to relist. SERIOUSLY? I could have sold them during that time on other webpages, reliable ones who actually do have customer service and not bored bots!

hello im writing this bewerung sinc i orders somthing from vestiar twic they claim that they chack the item if it fits as describet wich dident happend i paid over 40 chf for item to be checkd and the item does not correspodd to decription they dontsend the phot wehr the bag its been mensserment. and wont to accept it all that they say is that they have chekd and im wrong i have sentet photo wher i mensserd the bag wich is not as on description i paid for the bag over 500 chf to bee said just item has been checkd they dont acept the photos wich i sentet of the item now thy have the bag hope to find my rights thru anwalt sinc then i have to wait an answer from my anwalt so bad that i cant uplod photos of the bag that i menssurd and the descriptin thats on web

Absolutely appalling company who are functioning illegally and illegitimately. Zero stars. I’m actually not sure how they still exist and they will go bankrupt and be shut down eventually. I’ve sold an item that has been posted/received by buyer though item is still marked as pending delivery. When I click on tracking, item has been delivered. I reached out to buyer to confirm this, she confirmed that she’s happy with product but can’t authenticate due to item still being marked as pending delivery. Vestiaire are purposely prolonging my payment maybe because they’re running out of money or have cash flow issues? Super concerning. I’ve reached out numerous times to “customer service” and receive dumbfounding explanations that do not answer my questions and give me ridiculous answers. Fake company. I won’t be selling with them again. The worse resell marketplace I’ve ever experienced. Do not sell and buy on their platform. They are beyond untrustworthy.

I have ordered twice from Vestiaire Collective and twice both orders gone bad by the seller. 1st one the seller took my money and cancelled within an hour of receiving my money without an explanation. Then the second order I received a discount which I accepted and within an hour of receiving my money the buyer said the item wasn't in stock and to chose a similar item at an additional cost!!! It appears that Vestiaire Collective allows for its buyers to take money leaving the customers hanging to sort out a refund. What a great way to steal from customers as I have YET to receive a refund for the second item bought at the same time of the first. To top it all, I was charged custom charges which I am hoping Vestiaire should be honest and refund this as well as nothing was shipped due to the sellers "error". Vestiaire Collective should make all its sellers hold payment until all transactions are complete. They don't care about customers, all I get is a robotic AI BOT response each time! :-( Vestiaire Collective where is my FULL REFUND FOR THE ITEM ON YOUR SITE I NEVER RECEIVED BECAUSE IT WAS NOT AVAILABLE?????????

I have purchased 2 LV items over the last couple months from the same seller and both times had a great experience. The items were exactly as described, priced accordingly, postage was fast from seller to VC to be authenticated and then onto me in Australia. Overall very happy.

Fake bag bought from VC website despite it says “authentication guaranteed”, was soooo complicated and stressed to return/refund. The worst thing is you can NOT unsubscribe from email, I tried to unsubscribe it dozens of times but still get their emails. This website so should be illegal!

Over 3 weeks ago they sent me an empty box when I had ordered an LV bag. Had sent it to be verified by them first before coming to me from the seller. When I opened the box to see no bag inside the LV box, they keep claiming they have to open an investigation with the carrier, even though there I keep telling them there's no way anyone could open and reseal that box and that is has to be at their office after it was sent there for verification. Now, 3 weeks later when I ask for updates on the case, they just close the conversation chat window on me and when I email I get template auto emails about still working on it (Still, 3 weeks later..). Have opened a PayPal case as they seem unwilling to give me money back even though they sent me an empty box! I Literally don't even want my money back, just want them to check their offices for my bag for the £400 bag I paid for, and send it to me. The whole process has been so stressful, I still don’t have the bag or my money back and ive had to consistently contact them over 3 weeks as no one will get in contact or follow up for you-- it's like they're just waiting for you to give up or something!

My seller is excellent. I got my bag in 7 days after ordering, for Australian standard that is pretty fast! Got the authentication done too within that 7days. My bag is almost like new and great price. I really like the option for negotiating the right price for both parties. I was a bit scared initially as this was my first time and reading the bad review made me apprehensive. Anyway, I my seller has excellent reviews, so I gave it a go and do not regret it!

I was extremely dissatisfied with Vestiaire. I ordered a Chanel bag and the first time I used it, the Chanel Logo cracked right off. I went back and forth with Vestiaire because I am convinced this bag is not real, and they refused to take it back. I would never order from this site again. I have been reading the many negative reviews and I wish I had done that before I used their services.
